Is there any config for plant-cost center relationship

looks like our new cost center is not defaulting on the PO accounting document. Is there someplace I should have set-up a plant/cost center relationship?

Hi Satya,
You cannot directly assign a Cost Center to a Plant. But indirectly yes. A Cost Center is assigned to a Profit Center, a Profit Center is assigned to Material Master and the Material Master to a Plant.

Is there any order for objects in a relationship collection

I am using two cmp ejbs A and B which are in a many to one relationship.
This is like : Any Order has 0 to * OrderLines.
For this my ejb A has a cmr fild of type Collection:
public abstract Collection getBs();
public abstract void setBs(Collection x);
My question is if there is any way to indicate the position in which the related objects are saved in the collection.
This is very important for me. Because I want to generate a view to the
user for ejb A that should be allways in the same order.
This is like:
The view of the "order" should show the "orderLines" allways in the same positions: first orderline, 2nd orderline , 3rd orderlin,....
And if the user replace the 2nd "orderLine" with an other orderline, next time the view should still show it in the 2nd position in the "order" page.
If I use the following code:
Collection x = getBs();
x.add(someObject);
It won't be in any specific position.
I wanted to do the following:
Collection x = getBs();
Vector v = new Vector(x);
v[anyPosition] = someObject;
setBs(v);
But then I read that I should never use the set method for a cmr field of type Collection! Because this will be done exclusively by the container!
So what to do?????

As J2EE requires the usage of the Collection interface, the only way is to order the OrderLine by hand before display.

Select the Programme "SAPMV75A" , Trnsaction group=0 and pu display group=K and select the field =WERKS.

Sorry guys, there's nothing to do with the config of the account assignment. The postings are ok for single cost center or single asset. SAP system message (info messsage) " Goods receipt for distributed cost center will be non valuated" are given when you are trying to unticked the GR non valuated.
If someone could explain what is the logic behind that behavior.

Where we can see planning figures for profit center as well as cost centers for given Financial Statement Version (FSV)
Actuals vis a vis the planned ones
Is there any other report on Profir center basis where we can view for the month Actuals & Budgets?
Upload is done in Verrion 1 (managment Planning)

Best practice for reclassifying Cost Center/Element

Dear experts,
Currently the company I'm working for are using SA document (FB50) if there are mistakes when posting cost to Cost Center, they will DR New Cost Center and CR Old Cost Center.
However, it is seem a bit difficult to trace the changes later on. Hence, I would like to ask for opinions on what is the best practice for reclassifying cost center or cost element.
Right now, I'm planning to propose of using KB11N to reclassify cost center. Is this a good practice and easy to trace the cost movement? Is there any different with normal journal adjustment via FB50 and KB11N?
Need some advices from experts.

Both options are viable. If you reverse posting in FB50 then FI GL account postings will also be reversed and along with cost center postings. Hence here advantage is that cost center reversal will be with referenced to the original document with which wrong posting were made. Disadvantage here is that you will to post the entry again in FB50 . In KB11N you will simply transfer cost center amount from wrong to new one that should be in place of it but here you will have no reference . I personally think reversing posting through FB50 is viable options , reverse postings can be seen in KSB1 as well against that cost center.

I accidentally formatted my portable hard drive when setting it up for time machine. Is there any way for me to get back my lost files?

I have an external hard drive of the brand Western Digital.
Before I got my iMac I moved a lot of my important files from my PC to the hard drive and today I went on and connected it to my iMac to move my files over to it.
When it had connected a window popped up that asked if I wanted to use this hard drive with the program Time Machine and create backups. Without thinking it trough enough and reading the warning properly (I'm stupid I know) I clicked "yes". I then realised how stupid it was and cancelled the formatting of the hard drive. But somehow the program still managed to delete all my important files and can't find any way to get them back. Neither can I connect the hard drive to my PC anymore so I can't check if the files are still there (which I doubt they are since I can't see them on my iMac either).
And now I wonder: is there any way for me to get back my lost files or are they lost forever?

A data recovery specialist or some data recovery programs should be able to help. Most format simply rewrite the directory tree saying no files are on this disk. The bits that represent the files are still flipped appropreiately so they still exists, you just don't have the location info to get at them. Secure formats and erases rewrite each bit to a zero or 1 or random so the data is then truely gone. This type of format takes a long time to complete.
I'm not making a recomendation of a particular program but here is one company that does what you ask:
http://www.remosoftware.com/mac-recovery The cost is pretty high but I'm sure they don't sell many copies and need to cover their development costs.
Good luck and don't write anything on the freshly formatted disk until you decide what to do.

Your iPod can only be synced with one computer at a time. If you try to sync it with a new computer/iTunes library, it will replace the contents of the iPod with whatever is in the new library. You should probably disable the autosync functionality first by going to Edit -> Preferences, clicking the Devices tab, and enabling the prevent iPods,iPhones, and iPads from automatically syncing option.
Before doing anything else, authorize the new computer with your iTunes Account. In iTunes, choose Store -> Authorize This Computer and enter in the correct credentials. Either copy a backup file from your old computer to your new one or create a new backup of your iPod in iTunes before letting it sync.
Then right->click on your iPod Touch from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes and choose Backup. You might also want to take a look at this article to see what it all included in the backup.

Now onto synced content such as music, videos, photos, etc. For iTunes purchases you can copy them back into iTunes by choosing File -> Transfer Purchases. Get Name for CO Cost Center Group and BGD Processing

Hi,
I use these function modules to get the cost center group nodes in the CO hierarchy.
If I pass it a value that is in two controlling areas
if prompts another screen to pick which controlling area we want to look in. My problem is when I try to run this report in the background it gets hung up on this screen waiting for input. any ideas on how to get around this.

For reading cost center hierarchy you can try K_HIERARCHY_TABLES_READ.
It returns near the same info as one you've mentioned, works well for single controlling area and I hope in case of ambiguity it will raise one of exceptions provided. Give it try.

You'll have to get a Dremel motor tool and some fine metal bits, make a jig to hold the Dremel so it's stationary, then a slider jig for the MacBook Pro so the bit can drill into the center of the stuck plug.
Gently push the MBP against the drill bit so it drills into the stuck plug.
Once the hole is drilled down deep enough, use some metal to metal epoxy resin to glue the bit into the drilled hole, then let it set up according to directions.
Take a pair of vise-grips and get a good grip on the bit portion sticking out and gently pull it straight out, if you bend or twist, you can snap off the bit.

You can use : BAPI_BATCH_CREATE
it has import paramaters like Material, Plant , batch , Batch Attributes ( Vendor No, Vendor Batch etc)... I guess this is what you are looking for.

After the results recording , it is not possible to go any good movement in the UD screen . Why SAP is not recommending one more goods movement for a cost center purchase ?

Stock posting screen is for MRP type of PO's.When it comes to cost center like K then it will affect the UD screen as cost center should flow from PO & some one who is taking UD should not able to change it,As it is not under quality perview.It is part & parsal of MM.
Now When you reject such now RD takes place.wHAT YOU CAN DO IS ,REVERSE THE MATERIAL DOCUMENT.This can be done by MBST or MB01 or MIGO.This will reverse & you can again do Migo.
This route is followed by samp as consumption immediatly takes place after GR is created.Then why you reject material when already comsumed.??

How to reserve stock for a cost center & don't allow issue to another cost centre?
Stock is reserved by creating reservation by MB21 for one cost centre e.g.CC1.
We want to restrict this stock for the same cost center CC1 only.
But when tried to issue stock to another cost center CC2, system allowed to post goods issue document.
System should not allow for goods issue of this stock to another cost center other than CC1.
How to make it.......please suggest.

Here for mvmt type 201 - valuation update - qty update - no special stock - Goods mvmt w/o reference - A (Dynamic Avl. chk) is the setting.
But system is not issuing the any message while issuing reserved stock to another cost center.
