Is there any documentation on 0PA_MP01 (Headcount and Personnel Actions)

Have not been able to find documentation on multiprovider 0PA_MP01 and its related queries, any idea where to find?
Cheers.
Tan Meng Mau.

Well....the note just states that it is a new multiprovider but with no details.  What we are looking for is something similar to the documentation for the BI Content that SAP provides.
E.g.

  • HR Headcount and Personnel Actions(0PA_C01) std routines not working

    Hi Friends,
I have loaded data for Headcount and Personnel Actions(0PA_C01) cube. Here the fields below mentioned are not populating data which are with standard routines. I checked code and also gone through sdn and also with SAP notes but every thing ok.
We are working with support package 16.
    0AGE,
    0AGE_RANGE,
    0GT_PLAND(country key),
    0COUNTRY_CODE,
    0GENDER,
    0NATION,
    0PERSLANGU,
    0POSTAL_CD(Postalcode),
    0REGION,
    0MAST_CCTR,
    0CNTRCTTYPE(Contract Type),
    0PAYPCT_CHA(Capacity Utilization level in %),
    0HDCNT_FTE(Head Count FTE).
Can u please give me your views to populate data to the above mentioned fields.
Here 0GENDER,0NATION,0PERSLANGU,0POSTAL_CD(Postalcode),0REGION are attribute of 0PERSON and in turn is an attribute of 0EMPLOYEE. I can able to see data individually from both 0PERSON and 0EMPLOYEE. but i want to see data attribute data of 0PERSON in 0EMPLOYEE.
Is it possible? If possible Can you please Explain me?
    Regards,
    Sridhar

Adjusted transfer rules, so now standard routines are correctly populating fields.
I have doubt on two fields of cube,
    keyfigures: capacity utilization level
head count FTE which is (capacity utilization level / 100)
Is capacity utilization level  field in BI is equivalent to R/3 Staffing Percentage field ?
(The staffing percentage indicates which percentage of an employee's time is to be spent in the position entered). If not what field in R/3 is equivalent to capacity utilization level .

    Sridhar

  • Loading data to Headcount and Personnel Actions infocube (0PA_C01) from r/3

    Hi Gurus,
I'm loading data from R/3 into my infocube 0PA_C01. I'm loading the data from 2 infosources 0HR_PA_0 (DS is 0HR_PA_0) and 0HR_PA_1. The infosource 0HR_PA_1 has inturn 3 datssources 0EMPLOYEE_ATTR, 0PERSON_ATTR and 0HR_PA_1. So on the whole I have 4 data sources and so 4 infopackages.
Now the problem is that if I load an employee from r/3, the data is getting loaded into the cube in 4 lines, one per each info package. But I want to see all the employee details in one line. Any ideas on how to load the data into one line ??
    Regards,
    Ramesh

why are u loading master data in the cube.
Load the master data seperately and what ever attributes of master data you want make that as master data attributes when you load the transaction data using 0HR_PA_0 and 0HR_PA_1.
Also, there could be 4 records in the master data that the reson you are getting 4 records depeding about the time dependent infoobject.
You can check that in 0Employee and 0Person what all attributes are time dependented according to that you are getting records.
As becuase of Begda and Endda the records changes in R/3 so even you will have that set of record in BW when you fetch that data .
    Hope this help.

  • Is there any documentation which throws light on how data aggregation happens in data warehouse grooming? what algorithm exactly it follows in different aggregation type (raw, hourly, daily)?

Is there any documentation which throws light on how data aggregation happens in data warehouse grooming? what algorithm exactly it follows in different aggregation type (raw, hourly, daily)?
How exactly it picks up a specific data value during Hourly aggregations and Daily aggregations? As in  How the value is chosen. Does it say averages out or simply picks  value at the start of the hour/day or end of the hour/day ??

I'll try one more time. :)
Views in the operations console are derived from data in the operational database. This is always raw data, and typically does not go back more than 7 days.
Reports get data from the data warehouse. Unless you create a custom report that uses raw data, you will never see raw data in a report - Microsoft and probably all 3rd party vendors do not develop reports that fetch raw data.
Reports use aggregated data - hourly and daily. The data is aggregated by min, max, and avg sample for that particular aggregation. If it's hourly data, then you will see the min, max, and avg for that entire hour. Same goes for daily - you will see the
min, max, and avg data sample for that entire day.
And to try clarifying even more, the values you see plotted on the report are avg samples. If you drill into the performance detail report, then you can see the min, max, and avg samples, as well as standard deviation (which is calculated based on these
    three values).

  • Is there any documentation on Database parameters?

    Hi
We are trying to plan for future growth and make sure that our current structure is optimal. I am looking for some documentation on testing done by Oracle to get some guidelines. I have looked through a couple of Oracle white papers ('0Building Scalable and Performant..........' and 'Page Generation ..........'). I have also looked at some of the white papers regarding architecture.
    My questions
Has Oracle done any testing for the database? Have there been any tests as to SGA, Multithreded vs dedicated, etc.. ?
    Is there any documentation?
    Thanks

    Mukesh,
When we ran our load tests, we found that database settings were simply not the bottleneck, at least for the overhead of generating Portal pages and running a Portal instance. Of course, if you're using the database for other purposes, then you need to tune the database as you would for any other application. The type of tuning you do is totally dependent on your unique configuration and application mix. I suggest you refer to the Oracle8i Designing and Tuning for Performance manual.

  • Is there any documentation on creating basic paper reports?

Hi - I have just started to try to create a report. We have 9i reports but don't need any of the web stuff. I only need to create reports off of our database, run them on my workstation, and print out hardcopies to give to 1 or 2 managers.
Is there any documentation that would just teach me how to create simple reports without all the web functionality? I was trying to follow along in the Reports Builder 6i, but it seems a lot has changed since 6i and I am having trouble just trying to find the corresponding buttons in 9i.
I need to learn how to create reports, triggers, and especially I want to learn how to rearrange the report output after it has been created. It seems very confusing to me how to do this on Paper Layout or Paper Design screen.
Thanks for any help. I would even go buy a book if there were a good one.

  • Is there any documentation regarding the fuego.fdi.* libraries

Is there any documentation regarding the fuego.fdi.* libraries
    thanks

    Hey lloyd,
    It looks like there is!
Within Studio, click on the 'Documentation' flap on the bottom of the screen.
Then, open the project flap, and navigate to Catalog -> Fuego -> Fdi
Double click on any of the individual components, and its documentation will appear within the documentation flap on the lower portion of the screen.
If you don't see any documentation, check the tabs at the top of the documentation flap - the tabs allow you to switch between the documentation for the current method you're working on, and the component you've selected.

    hi
Is there any Documentation frame work for OAF development like AIM Documentation for RICE components ?
Hence , it is very clear that, MD50 and MD70 template is not for the OAF java development.
Is there any need to document the oaf development, hence it is using MVC architecture and all the components of the OAF development is very transparent.

You can extra sections if needed based on the customizations / extensions / personalizations.

  • Is there any BAPI which combines web and SAP??

Is there any BAPI which combines web and SAP??

    Hi Krishna,
<b>Good .. check the following documentation
BAPIs are technically nothing else but RFC-enabled function modules meaning that they provide us with external access to the SAP system.
However, BAPIs are more than "normal" RFC-enables function modules in that they generally access SAP business objects (like customer, sales order, etc.).
Usually, a BAPI corresponds to a certain dialog transaction dealing with a SAP business object (e.g. BAPI_USER_CREATE -> SU01 to create SAP users).
In web terms RFC is similar to HTTP and BAPIs are CGI applications.
RFC will normally provide sy-subrc 0 or >0. Most of the BAPIS will provide a return-structure.
RFC and BAPIs are remote enabled function modules. They are practicly the same. A BAPI is one step further as it usually is a self contained business function, such as "Create Purchase Order", or "Change Sales Document". BAPIs interface is very well defined and documented. BAPIs can be found in the BAPI browser via transaction BAPI. RFCs are just remote enabled function modules.

  • Is there any link between movement types and documents

    hi
is there any link between sales doc and movement types ?
is it the only source dependig on schedule line movement type will determined?
if with out order we are doing delivery how system will determine movement type
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
Deliveries that are created without reference to order , contained movement type because to process a delivery you need to have some of the control criteria that are copied from sales document header to delivery document header, as system processes delivery in that way ,that is why you will find default order type is assigned to the delivery document type ie DL. .which helps the delivery document to process without reference to sales document.
    In Addition to above information,
    In VOV4,
    DL+ NORM +   +    -&#61664;DLN
    In VOV5,
    For Itemcatagory DLN+        --&#61664;CN
From this schedule line category CN,movement type 601 is taken during without reference to order –delivery creation.

  • Is there any combination of OS Lion and iTunes that can run radio streams without cutting (rebuffing) it for at least 3-4 hours?

Hello! Is there any combination of OS Lion and iTunes that can run radio streams (primarily pls-streams) without cutting (rebuffing) it for at least 3-4 hours? I am running Lion (10.7.1) on an early-2011 MacBookPro with iTunes 10.3.1 and I am frustrated, because it will cut the stream at least once per hour (it's totally random), while my older MacBook, running Tiger with iTunes 9.2.1 doesn't have any such problems ... Any solution?

Maybe you should upgrade iTunes to the current version - 10.5.3 - and upgrade Lion to 10.7.3.
