Is there any flashplayer that is compatible with an ibook G4

I am wondering if anyone knows of a flashplayer that is compatible with an ibook

The last version that works with PowerPC Macs (such as an iBook G4) running Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or later is Flash Player 10.1 (specifically 10.1.102.64).  I have it on my Power Mac G5.
You can find it here
     http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
in a download of "archived" Flash Player versions
On that web page, look down the list of downloads.  The one you want is
     (Released 11/04/2010)  Flash Player 10.1.102.64 and 9.0.289.0 (126 MB)
Within this download, find
     Flash Player 10.1.102.64
          10_1r102_64
               flashplayer10_1r102_64_ub_mac.dmg
That should be the installer you need.
Note:  Performance may not be satisfactory, if playing Flash-based "HD" videos.

  • Are there any scanners that are compatible with OS X Yosemite?

I just bought the iMac with the 5k screen
    27-inch: 3.5GHz with Retina 5K display
    3.5GHz quad-core Intel Core i5
    Turbo Boost up to 3.9GHz
    8GB (two 4GB) memory
    1TB Fusion Drive1
AMD Radeon R9 M290X with 2GB video memory
I also bought a new scanner (Canon Scan 9000F MK II) but it's software isn't compatible with Yosemite "iOS 10.10". I returned that scanner and started searching for another one only to find out that most or all scanners and printers (at this point) are not compatible with Yosemite. So far, I haven't found one.
I was wondering if you could direct me to a scanner and printer that were compatible with Yosemite this way I can start using my new computer.
    Thanks!
    Michael

So I returned the previous scanner and purchased the Epson Perfection V600 Photo. I'm still having the same problems and I downloaded the latest driver for it. I also downloaded the driver for my previous Canon Scanner before I returned it. It wasn't working the way I wanted it to work.
It wasn't the scanner after all but I do like the epson better. When I get it to scan, it's scans faster and has more resolution options.
    Anyway
Basically I want to be able to scan in Photoshop CC but it's not working the way it used to in previous machines/OSs/photoshops.
I used to be able to go FILE>IMPORT>SCANNER NAME and then continually scan until I was finished. That is not the case and I have noticed it's a problem throughout when doing some research to fix it. I can scan continually if I got to my system preferences, select the "PRINTERS and SCANNERS"  and then click "Open scanner".
In photoshop CC I can only get one scan and then I have to close photoshop if I want to do another scan. It's annoying knowing that I was able to in previous machines. Any solutions or plug-ins that I'm missing?
Thanks so much for everyone helping out!
    Michael

  • Is there a webcam that is compatible with OS 10.9?

Is there a webcam that is compatible with OS 10.9?

    Hi,
Anything that is USB 2.0 UVC compliant .
    UVC means USB Video Class.
Like the mass storage USB devices there is an included driver.
Depending on you Firewire ports and those any Firewire enabled DV Camcorder has you could use a DV Camcorder.
NOTE: some HD versions will not work is some apps.
HD tends to be 16:9 format and iChat/Messages and Photo Booth are 4:3
Having said there is a UVC driver in the OS it will not always give you the same features that a windows os might do.

  • Hi, I've got an imac using mac os x version10.4.11, does anyone know of any printers that are compatible with this operating system version?

Hi, I've got an imac using mac os x version10.4.11, does anyone know of any printers that are compatible with this operating system version?

Yesterday I set up a Canon IP3600 to work on a PowerBook G4 running OS 10.4.11. It is a print-only unit. I got the 10.4 drivers off the Canon website before connecting the printer. Many Brother printers still have support for older Mac OS versions.
If you need a multi-function device, it is gettng very hard to find any that support PowerPC Macs (pre-2006) of OSX versions older then 10.6 any more.
As you posted in the PowerPC iMac forum I assume you have one. However, there are some Intel Macs (2006 and newer) still running 10.4. Check "About this Mac" under your Apple menu: if it says you have an Intel processor, you have many more doors open.

  • Is there a tablet that is compatible with aperture 3?

I have been looking for a tablet that would be compatible with aperture 3.  I talked with someone that was familiar with macs and they didn't think there was one at all.  I really don't want to use photoshop... I'm happy with aperture.  Thanks guys!!

    Any Wacom tablet will work.
The Intuos line tablets have a few unique feature advantages over the Bamboo line, but Aperture doesn't take advantage of any of those features.
Aperture WILL take advantage of the fact that tablets are "pressure sensitive" -- so if you're applying a brushed on adjustment.  Say you're using the "burn" brush to darken an area --  a very light touch will apply a slight amount of "burn" but heavy pressure will apply a much stronger amount of "burn."
If you're buying a tablet *just* for Aperture, then save yourself a few bucks and buy a tablet in the Bamboo line. If you also need support for drawing & painting apps, then spring for the more expensive Intuous line.
    (Emphasis added.)
This is mildly misleading.  Aperture takes full advantage of all but two of the Intuos4's additional functions.
As I point out below, for these reasons I don't agree with Tim's recommendation.
The Intuos4 is, compared to the Bamboo Pen & Touch (all based on specs at Wacom's site):
    2x more accurate
    0.5x more responsive
2x more sensitive to pressure, and
    2x higher in resolution
All of those are taken advantage of by Aperture.  Additionally, the Intuos4 comes with the TouchRing and  six ExpressKeys, all of which can be easily programmed to execute Aperture commands.  (The Bamboo has 4 ExpressKeys and no TouchRing.)  Also, the Intuos4 includes the fully programmable Radial Menu, which can be a workflow accelerator for Aperture.  (This may be available on the Bamboo -- I just don't know.)
My recommendation is that, if your are regularly going to use a tablet for making Adjustments and using Aperture, get the Intuos4 Medium.  It that is outside your budget, get the Intuos4 Small.  If you are only going to occasionally use the tablet with Aperture (or only occasionally use Aperture), the Bamboo Pen & Touch may suffice.
Note, as well, that Wacom's software bundles often completely change the value of some of their products.

  • Is there any store that sell MBP with anti-glare display?

I googled, but I can't find any store which sell those version. Is those version sell only at Apple Store?
My location is in Japan now.

This may sound silly but I wasn't expecting the high res anti glare macbook pro to not have a glass cover over it. to many this might not be an issue, but I need to be able to use a digital drawing pen over top the surface of my monitor. My previous macbook was the first of the unibodies from 2008 and that works fine. But I guess I should have gone with the hi res glossy. So are there any solid screen protectors available or am I going to have to see about returning this computer. :|
Why don't you instead just use a piece of rounded edge glass in the rare times when your doing that?
Your one of the very few that has to actually draw on their screen, most use a drawing pad Walcom tablet, iPad or import a scan or image into Adobe Illustrator rather than hold their hand up to the screen for hours.
Don't you know you can command shift 3 or 4 to snapshot a image of anything on the screen? SnapZ Pro X will record video?
Seems to me your doing things the wrong way.
The anti-glare MacBook Pro is awesome when you take it to various places and can still see the screen and can't adust the enviroment to suit.

  • Are there any PCIE CAN Cards Compatible with Labview RT?

    Hi,
I am looking for a mini PCIE CAN card or PCIE 1X CAN card that will run under Labview RT.  Are any of you using a PCIEC AN card with Labview RT?
    Thanks,

    Hello Phillip,
I do not believe that we have any PCIe CAN cards. Here is a link to the PCI CAN cards that will work on LabVIEW Real Time(http://sine.ni.com/np/app/main/p/bot/no/ap/icomm/lang/en/pg/1/sn/n24CI,n21:17,n17:icomm,n19:Real%20T...). Please let me know if you have anymore questions. Have a great day!

  • Is there any Macpro that plays well with FCPX?

Is there a Macpro out there that plays 3 cam 1920 x 1080 Pro Res multicam perfectly without dropping frames and still plays perfectly without rendering for things like dissolves?
My late model Imacs do this perfectly even with slow Lacie drives, but my mid 2010 3.33 GHZ Macpro with 24 GB of Ram and ATI 5770 graphics card is constantly reporting dropped frames, and not because of slow hard drives. And, strangelly, while it is reporting drop frames, and about 5 GiGS of memory used,  the CPU shows almost 80% idle!  Do I need a better graphics card or should I give up on Macpro? Or is there something wrong with the FCP programming?

  • Is there any chance that the next update for iBooks will include the ability to highlight?

It's great as it is though, just the highlighting part. I just don't really want to use other apps for my books and PDF files (cause I'm lazy like that and I'm saving my space for other apps); especially e-books I use for school.

  • Multiplexer that's compatible with Encore

Encore seems to require some special data in the multiplexed file.  For muxed file output directly by AME, it will read them properly and both video and audio work fine, jsut as if separate video and audio files are used.
However, if AME produces separate video and audio and then muxed by other softwares, it will run into problems.
For DVD/MPEG, I used ImagoMPEG-Muxer.  The muxed mpg file will show as video only in Encore.
For Blu-ray/H.264, I used tsMuxer.  The muxed ts or m2ts file will carry both video and audio but Encore will have to transcode the video.
I can live with the DVD/MPEG from AME as it works properly.  However, Blu-ray muxing in AME forces 35 Mbps CBR.
    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/894499
Does anyone know what's the magic in the AME muxing?  Is there a muxer that's compatible with Encore?
    Thanks!

I have no problems using VLC to play my AME .mp4 exports.  But no, most playback software won't play two files at the same time.  If you want that, create an export with audio.
But for authoring in Encore, it's still best to create two separate files.

  • I just bought a 5g iPod touch and was wondering if there were any ihomes out or coming out soon that are compatible with this device? I know about the lightning adapters but read about their bad reviews and would like to avoid buying one for my ihome

I just bought a 5g iPod touch and was wondering if there were any ihomes out or coming out soon that are compatible with this device. I know there are adapters and cables you can purchase to use with your existing ihome but read the poor reviews on them and was scared away. I use my ihome very regularly and need this accessory to work with my new iPod. If you have any information on this, please help!

iHome already makes docks that support the Lightning connector:

  • Is there any external storage that is compatible with the ipad2

is there any external storage that is compatible with the ipad2

the Wifi storage options are interesting but it seems they only allow to read files from the device on the iPad but not transfer files to the storage device via WiFi.
I'm looking for a possibility to use the iPad for photography while traveling, without the access to a computer.
Shooting photo's in RAW format crates pretty big files that will fill up the iPad's memory pretty fast if you shoot a lot during a (let's say) month long trip.
my idea was to use load the photo's to the iPad so i could view them and sort out any bad ones. then copy them over to the storage device so i can continue using my CF cards for shooting. I have an image thank for copying the photo's directly to the HDD but it would be so sweet to be able to check them on the iPad before hand.
    any suggestions?

  • I have received the alert that my version of Safari no longer supports Youtube viewing. I am running version 5.1.10 on OS 10.6.8. Is there an update or a newer Safari version that is compatible with my OS?

I have received the alert that my version of Safari no longer supports Youtube viewing. I am running version 5.1.10 on OS 10.6.8. Is there an update or a newer Safari version that is compatible with my OS?

No, not without upgrading to a higher version of the Mac OS. However, the easiest thing to do is get another browser for use with sites that don't like older versions of Saari. I always have a secondary browser on any computer, Mac or PC. For our Macs, I install FireFiox alongside Safari when setting up a new computer.
As FireFox is updated sometimes weekly, YouTube should not have a problem with it.
