Is there any form to create a movi file from 3D Array in CVI?

Hi,
Anyone knows if using CVI, it is possible to create a movie file (avi) from a 3D Array? And if yes could you tell me how to do that without any commercial dll?
Thanks
Hiram Hernandez

Hola Hiram:
Existe una manera de poder guardar .avi de un arreglo en 3D.  Te envío un poco de documentación de cómo poder hacerlo. Necesitaras tener instalado NI-IMAQ.

Is there any way to create 3D PDF file without having the model tree ?
3D communication is good but sometime we don't want the receiver to be able to study every components in model.
or any way to make the receiver cannot use model tree and measurement tool ????
    Thank you very much

You can remove the assembly tree by doing a roundtrip in 3D Toolkit, here's how:
    - start Acrobat 3D
    - drag & drop a CAD file
    - click on 3D Annot to activate
    - right-click on 3D
    - select 'Edit in 3D Toolkit'
    - 3D Toolkit launches
    - click in 'Scene Tree' panel
    - right-click on top assembly name
    - select 'Tools->Collapse Hierarchy'
    - select 'File->Save'
    - select 'File->Exit'

  • Is there any way to create a setup file Like Visual Basic

    Hi,
I want to create a setup file of all developed foms and reports to install them to desireable location, is there any way to create a setup file in oracle, Like Vb.
    Raza

I believe there is something from Oracle but it was frustratingly buggy when I used it a few years back and only worked via the Oracle installer.
Personally, I'd recommend something like Innosetup, which is freeware and a Windows-style installer much like InstallShield etc. so it'll create an executable setup file probably OK if they've already got the Oracle Runtime components installed.

  • Is there any meaning to the iMovie .mov file names?

I went into iMovie Events folder and looked at the a specific event folder.
A sample of the imported video file names are as follows -
    clip-2007-12-01 14;51;04.mov
    clip-2007-12-01 15;32;09.mov
    clip-2007-12-01 17;00;33.mov
    clip-2007-12-01 17;19;44.mov
How does iMac name the video files? Is there some kind of logic to the naming of the videos that I am not aware of?
    The first file (clip-2007-12-01 14;51;04.mov) is a 2s video and the second (clip-2007-12-01 15;32;09.mov)is a 13s video.

How does iMac name the video files? Is there some kind of logic to the naming of the videos that I am not aware of?
To add a bit to what Winston has already said... Files imported via the "Import from Camera..." option are typically files captured from a camcorder or a device which iMovie '08 considers to be a camcorder. Thus the prefix "Clip-". Theoretically, the "2007-12-01 14;51;04" represents the date time group when the files was imported or the "time stamp" from the recording device which may or may bear any resemblance to a factual time. And as was previously pointed out, the ".mov" is a standard extension signifying the file container type. Therefore "clip-2007-12-01 14;51;04.mov" is a file clip imported or created on the 1st of December in 2007 at 2:51:04 PM and placed in an MOV (generic) file container.
With regard to the file container itself, this is determined by the method of import. Files imported at the "Finder" level are imported with their original "Finder" name and in the same file container as the original file. Camcorder files, on the other hand fall into two separate classes -- those requiring some sort of conversion and those that don't. An standard definition DV file is imported in its original DV container since it does not require any conversion. Files encapsulated in MPEG (like HDV, AVCHD, or MPEG-2), however, need to transformed to make them "edit" compatible with iMovie '08. At the very least, the audio is demuxed to "elementary" AIFF file(s) resampled to 48.0 KHz with 16-bit sampling and is now in a "temporal" compression format. In the case of HDV and AVCHD, the video is extracted/converted and can then be merged/synchronized with the audio and saved. This merging and saving of diverse content is what produces the MOV file container in the same manner as using the "Save As..." file command in QT Pro. HDD SD content however must undergo additional processing. Since the 'muxed" MPEG2/AC3 content does not share a common time reference, a "time" track is added to the container for audio time reference and to reduce/minimize drifting between audio and video tracks, the modified MPEG-2 video (now essentially having been turned into an Motion-JPEG video) is provided with an internal track start and/or end time offset and the whole saved in the generic MOV file container.

    Hi,
I am creating videos for my clients using after effects.
The requirment is that they should be able to edit the .mov files e.g adding their company name, text or logo without using after effects without losing any effects.
    How can I accomplish this?

Editing video is not possible with Photoshop Elements.
Photoshop Elements is for photo editing
In order to edit videos , you should use Premiere Elements or Premiere Pro
However, Adobe does offer a combined package of Photoshop Elements and Adobe Premiere Elements, which might work perfectly for someone who just needs the most basic tools for editing both photos and video.

  • How can i create a .mov file from image sequence with different durations

how do u create an image sequence with different durations? image one stays for 10 seconds and image two may stay for 30 and so on. each one has a custom duration. can this be done with an apple script or a text file saved as an mov file?

    Hello Omar,
The example code Programmatic Printing of TestStand Reports - Modular contains a sequence that will convert an XML file to an HTML file given the XML file's path and the path to the stylesheet.  It may need to be altered to fit with the modifications you have already made to the report generation routines, but I think it should definitely get you off on the right foot.  Let me know if you have any questions!

  • Is there any way to call a sql file from a pl/sql block

    Hi,
I want to call a sql file from a pl/sql block.
the pl/sql block has an exception handler. The pl/sql block will execute the sql file and in case it throws error then the exception handler will take care of it.
The sql file will be a master file and it will itself call other sql files.
is it possible to call any sql file from pl/sql block ?

When you say "sql file", what precisely do you mean? Do you have a file that has just SQL statements? Or do you have SQL*Plus scripts?
Where are the files stored? Are they on your client machine? Or the database server?"which in turn calls other sql files" seems to imply that the answer to the first question is that you have SQL*Plus scripts. If you have SQL*Plus scripts, you need SQL*Plus to execute them. PL/SQL is running in the Oracle database, SQL*Plus is a client application. It is not practical to have PL/SQL call SQL*Plus. Since you've already ruled out the best of the bad options, it appears that the answer is no, you can't have your PL/SQL run these files.
As Alex points out, that's probably a good thing. It sounds like your application has been designed incorrectly. If you need PL/SQL, you should be creating stored procedures and functions and calling those from PL/SQL. Having PL/SQL depend on code in flat files outside the database is not a good idea.

  • Is there any way to create or move around folders on the main menu?

For example, I know how to add things like Clock, and take out things like pictures.. but is there a way I could create another option to put notes or photos in? Like a new folder on the main menu that you could go into and it would have maybe my photos, notes, and a calendar or something like that.

You should be able to create and edit playlists on iOS devices and in iTunes.  Probably much quicker and easier on the computer, and I believe smart playlists can only be created in iTunes.

  • Is there any way to mass download Pages files from iCloud?

I use iCloud for all of my iWork documents, and it's saved me in the past (I had a laptop stolen, but all my documents were safe), so I swear by it. I just had a scary experience with a non-Apple program randomly deleting important documents, so I thought I'd be over-cautious and ask if there's any way to download hard copies of documents created and stored in iCloud in Pages so that I can back them up and keep them for prosperity. Thanks!

iCloud keeps copies of your iWork documents on your Mac so that you could work on them without an internet connection. It would then sync them to the cloud the next time you are connected. These copies are located in your user library > Mobile Documents in separate folders for each application. If you have Time Machine set up, & I certainly hope you do, you already have copies & backups.

  • Is there any way to take backed up files from an old OS and get them onto a new phone?  They are backed up as txt files.

I have a six year old lap top with an old OS and itunes 10.  I backed up my i phone 4 on it.  I got an I phone 5 and the version of Itunes compatible is not supported by the laptop.  I installed itunes on a different computer and when trying to sync the iphone 4 to the desktop, updated the iphone 4 software.  Now my iphone 4 is no longer compatible with my laptop.  I am interested in getting my contacts and photos from my old laptop to either iphone at this point.  I have the backed up files but they are txt files in the Mobile Sync Back ups.  Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Generally when moving from one phone to another, individuals will make a backup of the one device and then restore to the second device. However, it seems you are no longer using the computer you made the backup on, so that can be a problem. There is no way for you to take information out of the backup and insert it in the iPhone. It is an all or none proposition. But, just moving the backup folder from one computer to another doesn't work either.
Did you sync the contacts to a supported application on the computer? Also, if you are referring to the photos in the camera roll, you can import them to the computer by connecting the phone to the computer. You do not need iTunes to do that. Just plug in and let the computer photo import utility take the pictures and put them on the computer. Then you would sync the photos back to the photo library on the new phone,
Contacts you can look at a 3rd party app that might help. MCBackup is in the app store and converts your contacts to a file you can email to yourself and then click on it and open it. Suggest syncing contacts/calendar to a supported application on the computer, or to iCloud so you can recover a lot easier.

  • Are there any shortcuts for creating Value Object Classes?

    Hi,
I'm using a Remote Object to connect to my server
(pyAMF/Django). I'm getting stuck with the creation of Value Object
Classes. It doesn't seem very DRY to have a class on my server
representing the data model and then have to recreate that class
and all its properties in my Flex app.
Are there any shortcuts for creating client side VOs from
    server side data?
I was thinking about declaring an empty VO class in Flex, and
then dynamically assigning/casting my Proxy object to that class.
It seems like that approach may cause problems for the Flex
    compiler though.
    Any hints?
    Thanks!

One thing that has helped me in that area is a free tool from

You simply install a (very lightweight) Eclipse plugin, add a
single annotation to your Java VO classes, and it automatically
generates your Flex VOs. It even creates a base and extended
version of each VO on the AS3 side so you can add code to the
extended VO without fear of having your changes overwritten when it
    regenerates your Flex VOs.

  • How to create a movie file of java 3D animation without altering the code?

Is there a way to create a movie file of a Java 3D animation without altering the source code of the Java 3D animation program???
Because as what I observed, most of the forum recommends extracting the bufferedimages of the animation. And, then using the bufferedimages to do a movie file. In this way, I will need to add in new code in the animation program in order to extract the bufferedimages.
So, is there an alternative way?
My objective is write a program to create movie file of any Java 3D animation.
Pls advise me. Thanks a million.

I'm curious as to why FRAPS will record java3d and
not a java2d app? is there something that Java3d
sets that makes it recognizable by fraps? or?? could
someone or messengers ( =D!) explain this for me?Seems that only in JDK 5.0 or later, does the 2D api automatically use a DirectX or OpenGL rendering pipeline (if available).
Further, these automatic pipelines accelerate polygons and the like, but not low level Graphics2D bit blitting operations.
There are JOGL apis that allow better control over acceleration, and are considered 'thread safe' (single threaded) whereas DirectX pipelines are not.
    Interesting demos of this here:
    https://jogl-demos.dev.java.net/applettest.html
    and
    http://www.hardcorepawn.com/RandomGL/
Fraps (commercial) and Taksi (opensource) will reveal that you are actually using acceleration, since they intercept the pipeline at the openGL (and DirectX) level.
