Is there any help for new iWeb users?

the tutorials I've found are inadequate for the most basic web site design and editing. I would like to do simple things like changing fonts, linking pages but there is nothing. Help

Welcome to Apple Discussions and the Pages '09 forum.
Is this strictly a Pages/HP Photosmart issue, or do other applications share this inability to print in colour to this printer?
About the only advice I can offer is to:
1.
Check the HP site for any updated drivers for your printer. Download and install if any are found.
2.
Check the printer's settings in the Print dialogue. Your printer may offer the choice, here or in it's utility application, to print using only the black toner cartridge.
3.
Try opening Pages from a different user account, and printing a new document from there. Success would indicate the issue lies in your user account, probably in a corrupted Pages preference (.plist) file.Go back to your usual account, locate the file and drag it to the trash. Try printing again from your usual account.
If these don't help, I'd suggest reposting your question in the Printing, Faxing and Scanning forum in the Mac OS X v10.6 (Snow Leopard) section of Discussions.

Thank you sberman, yes the first thing I did was check my iPod. Instant synching works great between the iPad and iPod, so it was deleted there as well. On both devices I have my Notes account to the same account.
I ashamedly have not synched to iTunes for ages. After I calmed down I realized that most of the info on that deleted Note I had copied and pasted from an excel file in November. I'm in the process of doing that again, and am only out the recent info.

Is there any Help for video from iPhone3GS?

Can anyone please tell me how to get the video from my iPhone3GS to transfer upright? All videos sync sideways.
Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Is there any need for an InDesign user to use InCopy as well?

We are looking to do a software refresh from CS3 to CS5, and when auditing users we discoverd a handful of people that are using InDesign and InCopy. My previous thoughts about InCopy, was that the program isn't needed if you have InDesign, but users have given the following reasons for using both. Can someone tell me if these reasons are founded, or if there is a way to do these things in InDesign only?
Example 1: InDesign: Use to edit pages before going to press, cut copy to fit, re-write headlines and insert captions. InCopy: Use daily to perform first reads and content edits of stories submitted by writers and to write my own copy, and to format stories before sending them to the copy editor for final editing.
Example 2: InCopy CS2 I use in conjunction w/InDesign when we create an issue.
Example 3: I use Adobe Incopy CS2 several times per week to format and file stories with our copydesk. I also use Adobe InDesign CS3 to make cuts and late edits on page each week before my section ships to the printer.
Example 4: Use both daily for printed materials

Thank you John, for one user it appears he is doing to copy editing as well as the design. He is using InCopy to format tex files before they are imported in InDesign. Can you tell me if InDesign can be used as a word-processing software?
Here are exaples of a few of the other workflows: When I send stories to our copy chief, they have to be in an InCopy template for him to format the fonts. FM's two reporters send stories to me in Word, and I edit them before putting them in an InCopy template and sending them proofread. They then do an initial proofread for house style before formatting them and sending them to our art department for page layout in InDesign.
After the pages are laid out by our art director, I use InDesign in order to cut stories to fit, proofread and edit and write captions on page. Years ago, we had an additional copy editor to help our copy chief with this stage of the process, but he got laid off. They gave me and one other editor copies of InDesign at that point, so that we could distribute his work on shipping days. Since we're a weekly, I currently use both of these programs extensively every week.
It appears these users are wearing multiple hats, I was just under the impression that InDesign could do anything that InCopy does (and more ofcourse). Apparently I was incorrect?

Is there any BAPI for new appraisal module in SAP 4.7 ?

In our company, we are using our own web-ESS Appraisal (employee self service on intranet), developed using Java. So we are using available standard BAPIs to exchange data between web-ESS and SAP.
But I notice for the new APPRAISAL module in SAP 4.7, we cant use the standard old BAPIs anymore. SAP gives hundreds of new function modules related with the appraisal module, but none of them is remote-enabled module or BAPI. So how are we supposed to exchange data using our web-ESS? I dont want to copy all the standard functions just to make it remote-enabled so I can use as a customized BAPI! Any idea?

        There is no function module that can get you the Appraisal Result from OSA in one go.. You have to create a custom function that is a combination of delivered modules.. here os one that I created.. you pass the pernr & get back the rating..this is only for Performance Appraisals.. WRT160N issues - is there any help for us?

I've had a 160N V3 v3.0.02 for about a month. WEP mode meant never getting a certificate on my wireless laptops and dropped connections. Laptops are all Windows XP with latest greatest updates, and 2 use G class wireless cards, one has a built in N class wireless card. WPA2 Personal mode has helped getting authenticated by the router, but access speed goes from 1 to 72 with very little steady state. All laptops will drop out at least once every ten minutes or so, and my router often doesn't show up in the list of available routers. It may take 30 mins before the thing(s) can reconnect. Of course, the only hard wired ethernet connection to a PC is working fine and dandy. it's the wireless side.
Using Search I can see I'm not alone, and not hopeful there is a solution. Should i just downgrade to a WRT54G2??? Are they trouble free? My old one worked fine but I gave it away when I got the N class router.

Try to adjust the wireless settings on the router...Open the setup page of the router and Under Wireless tab,Change the Network mode to "Mixed"...Change the SSID to some unique name,Channel Width to 20MHz and Channel to 11 and click on save settings..Under Advance Wireless Settings...Change the Beacon Interval to 75,Change the Fragmentation Threshold to 2304,Change the RTS Threshold to 2304 and Click on Save Settings...
As you are getting the IEEE error on the laptop,it is the addition authentication on the laptop.It has nothing to do with the router.You can change the Security to WPA or try the following steps ...
Click on the Start button >>Control Panel >>Network Connections- Here right click on the "Wireless Network Connection" icon and select Properties- Click on the 'Authentication' tab- Uncheck "Enable network access control using IEEE 802.1x" and click on Ok.

an answer (that I'm not sure if will fit your need) could be the following:
open your form, look for the Window you want to keep always on top, and set the property 'Window Style' to 'Dialog box'. When it's defined as 'Document', your window stays inside the window that Forms Runtime open.

There is some hope. I have heard of someone putting the ipod in a bag of dry rice and putting the bag in a dark place for a 4-5 days. After that they used this:

This has the best chance. The rice absorbs any liquid in the ipod.

Your iPod can only be synced with one computer at a time. If you try to sync it with a new computer/iTunes library, it will replace the contents of the iPod with whatever is in the new library. You should probably disable the autosync functionality first by going to Edit -> Preferences, clicking the Devices tab, and enabling the prevent iPods,iPhones, and iPads from automatically syncing option.
Before doing anything else, authorize the new computer with your iTunes Account. In iTunes, choose Store -> Authorize This Computer and enter in the correct credentials. Either copy a backup file from your old computer to your new one or create a new backup of your iPod in iTunes before letting it sync.
Then right->click on your iPod Touch from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes and choose Backup. You might also want to take a look at this article to see what it all included in the backup.
iOS: How to back up
Now onto synced content such as music, videos, photos, etc. For iTunes purchases you can copy them back into iTunes by choosing File -> Transfer Purchases. For all other nonpurchased iTunes content, see this excellent user tip from another forum member turingtest2 outlining the different methods and software available to help you copy content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.
Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device
Once the backup has been made and all other synced content such as music, videos, and photos are back in your iTunes library, restore your iPod from that backup you made earlier. Here is more on backing up and restoring your iPod.
