Is there any impact chaning ip on sun messaging server?

Hi all,
I have configured and running two sun messaging servers MTA and MS.
e.g
MTA ip address - 192.168.10.1
MS ip address - 192.168.10.2
Is it possible to change ip address on these messaging servers to another ip range? Do I need to change any messaging config file after changing ip address?
Following is my messaging server version:
./imsimta version
Sun Java(tm) System Messaging Server 6.2-3.04 (built Jul 15 2005)
libimta.so 6.2-3.04 (built 01:43:03, Jul 15 2005)
SunOS mta3 5.9 Generic_118558-34 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-280R

Is there any impact that apply Oracle CPU on standby and primary DB

We plan to apply Oracle April CPU on standby DB at this weekend. Then apply the same patch on primary DB next weekend. If I apply the patch on standby, then enable redo apply between primary and standby, is there any impact on primary DB. Theoretically, I don't think so. However, both DBs are production. I want to make sure there is no any impact by applying CPU in different time. Otherwise, I have to apply both DBs at the same time. Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Our DB server time is 45 minutes ahead of our application server. We have planned to reset the time of database server. Is there any impact on database if we change the timing of the server?

That's an application question, not an Oracle question.
Oracle doesn't care what time it is or when the time changes. Your application(s), however, may care. If you use SYSDATE to populate a row and rely on the date later to be unique or to indicate the actual order rows were inserted, changing the date on the server, particular moving it backwards, might cause problems for your application. Does your application have problems running during daylight savings time changes?

Is there any impact if we delete the indeces on Ods

Hi Experts,
The data does not get updated until and unless we activate the indices of ODSes .This has to be done everytime, when we are loading data from ODS.
We are facing the problems in WBP900 as we are loading data from ODS to infocube .
Is there any impact, if we delete the indeces please let me know.

Deleting index will not create any problem , but if the indexes are used by the queries and if the indexes are relevant, then..
But you can always rebuild the indexes.

Recently I got an iPhone 5 and when I activated it, I lost all of my voicemails from my previouse phone. With Verizon (I'm not sure about other carrier's), they were able to provide me with a phone number where I could access my old messages. I then used a website www.SaveMyVM.com to make permanemnt MP3 backups of them.
I believe the messages only remain on Verizon's system for a few days after activating a new phone, so time I would give them a call as soon as possible.

SMS is a voice cell service and since the iPad does not have voice cell circuitry, it does not natively support SMS or MMS. There are third-party apps in the iTunes Store that purport to send SMS, but I have no personal experience with any of them.

If you disable Messages in the Restrictions on the iPad, then it will not be able to send nor receive messages. Or you can change the email address used for Messages on either the iPad or the iPhone. The iPad will then only receive messages sent via that address.

Unfortunately, no, not unless you had them backed up somewhere (like with bitpim software). Once the texts are deleted from the phone, they're gone.

I am wondering whether there is a way to synchronise my address books inside Sun Message Server and on my Mac?
Does anybody know how do to this? I tried an VCF export of all my contacts from my Mac address book and imported it with the Web mailer interface Sun Java System Communications Express.
The import was done without any errors but all emails and phone data is gone so finally I got several empty contacts.
Is this a known problem? Is there a workaround or a fix available?
Does anybody know a better way for synchronization in both directions and without duplicating all records on a second import?

Sun messaging server 7 installation

Dear All,
I am trying to install sun messaging server 7 on an X86 machine.
However, when i try to run the commpkg install or upgrade i get the below (noting that i am using DS 6.0)

Can not find the distro containing the Packages, i.e. could not find
/opt/sun/comms/CommsInstaller/bin/SunOS_i386/ST/Packages
Be sure you are specifying a distro for the SunOS i386 platform

Moreover, after installation, i have modified the http port to 81 and once i logged from the browser i got this

What does this mean?It means exactly what it says. Messenger Express has been removed. It has been deprecated for a few versions now and every single 6.3 patch has said at the end on the patch installation that Messenger Express will be removed in a future version, so does the documentation/release notes:

If you want to use webmail you now use either UWC/CE or Convergence as the webmail interface.
