Is there any method to remember the running subtitle and audio stream when navigating through menus?

I have a language Menu named 'Setup' with 4 buttons 1.English 2.Spanish 3.Spanglish 4.Subtitle Off.
To reach this page you have to hit Setup button on Main Menu. The setup button takes to a sub-menu of Setup where I have a symbol of 'tick' at Subtitle Off indicating the state of the current subtitle stream. I have 3 more sub-menus with similar buttons but with 'tick' at different languages indicating the state of the current running/selected language, 2nd page has English with tick, 3rd page has Spanish with tick and 4th has Spanglish with tick. My client wants me to jump on the respective language ticked page when you hit the setup button on Main Menu. As far as I understand we cannot assign a code in Encore to a single button to read what subtitle stream is running.
Is there any method to remember the running stream when navigating through menus?

I think this was added in a "newer" version of Encore (meaning anywhere from CS4 up). In any event, it is available in Encore CS6.
There is a menu (not button) property that allows yoi9u to make the active subtitle track button the default (i.e. selected/highlight shows) just as you want.

The resource from which the Java VM loads the classes is considered to be implementation dependent. It may be class files or jar files contained in a file system hierarchy, or some kind of remote database. The now defunct Microsoft VM used a database repository that was able to reside on a remote class server within a network domain.
Unfortunately, Sun did not design a class resource service interface with a "list resources" function, only a "get resource" function. You can get the class resource for any named class, but you cannot list packages or classes within a package or at the root level.
This is further complicated by the fact that there is no such thing as an "installed package" as Java does not define any package installation system. The packages available to any runtime instance of the JVM is defined by the classpath properties passed from the OS. Different JVM instances can have completely different sets of available packages because they were passed different classpath values by the OS.
If you know the class resource of the runtime environment, then you could create a subclass of the sun.misc.URLClassPath class and add to it methods that will list packages and classes found within a package using the interface of that known class resource.
Most runtime environments use a standard hierarchical file system to hold jar and class files. A subclass of sun.misc.URLClassPath could use the java.io.File class to traverse the file system classpath paths in search of package directories and class files (Watch out for recursive directory links).
The root packages can be obtained from the three levels of classpath paths in the System properties used by the JVM:     "sun.boot.class.path"
     "java.ext.dirs"
     "java.class.path"The collection of file system paths obtained from these properties would be searched for the names of the root level package directory names. Just remember that this will only work in a runtime environment that only uses this kind of class resource. If you run this where some other resource is also used, you will not see all of the packages available to that JVM.
One note of caution: A single directory can hold package directories, jar files, and class files that belong to a specific package, but the package may include other package directories, jar files, and class files that are contained in other directories. Pieces of a single package may be strewn throughout the file system. The only way to find them all is to scan all of the classpath paths for that same package name. The directory does not define the package, it only provides more content for that package.

Hi,
Before deleting a transport request you need to unlock all the objects in a transport request. Please follow these steps.
1. Go to SE03. Under Requests/Tasks folder in the left pane you can see Unlock Objects, double click on that.
2. Enter your request number (sub task) there and click on execute button.
3. SAP will prompt you with a message, click on Unlock button.
4. Now go to SE09/SE10 and click on your request number (sub task) and click on delete button on the application toolbar.
5. Now click on main task and click on delete button to completely remove the request number.

Get the function code for that execute button(PLace the cursor on that button using the TAB key and press F1 to know the Fcode for that button).
then use the following statement in the set pf-status
set pf-status 'STATUS' excluding '<Fcode for exec button>'.

The deal with the new subtitles and audio track feature...

During the keynote, Jobs claimed that chapter selection, subtitles and alternate audio tracks for movies were a new feature on the iPhone. Why that feature would only be available on the iPhone is beyond me -- I assume that the feature is actually available on the iPods, or at the very least on the computer. Indeed in the new iTunes 7.6 the option shows up in the menu. But it's greyed out! What's up with that? And I just purchased several new movies since the upgrade, including Bridge to Terabithia and the Prestige. But when playing either one of those films, the Controls -> Audio & Subtitles option is greyed out (though the chapter selection works). The option is greyed out for my rentals (Superbad and Underdog) too. My wife is not a native speaker and it helps her a lot to have the subtitles. What am I not understanding here? Are only some movies going to have subtitles and audio tracks? Is this a big downside to buying/renting on iTunes instead of just going and buying or renting a DVD?

That would stink if the subtitle/CC option were only available for the iphone. It is more likely though that the movies you tried simply do not have any other language track or subtitles: thus you see them greyed out.
I don't know of any movie that has another language track for sure - though in the Keynote Steve's version of Ratatouille has a French track...

Is there any method of telling the software to look at a network location for the mozilla.cfg

I run in a locked down environment, and I would like to know if there is a way to have a central mozilla.cfg file stored on a network location. This is for ease of management. I know you can obviously push out a mozilla.cfg to the normal location via log in script but I have a need to have the file redirected to a network location. TIA.

Is there any way to accept the apple terms and conditions using the website or any other ways that are not flawed to being unusable?

I have tried using the set in system of trying to update an app and being prompted to agree, but every single time Apple's gay system keeps telling me that my session has timed out and I should try again. I have tried multiple times to have it sent by email, but every one of those show up as "there was an error and email failed. Please try again.". I signed in on the website and was prompted to agree to the terms and I did, but Apple still will not let me dowload/update apps. Is there any way to get to a part of a website that lets you agree to the terms? If not, is there any fool-proof way that I can do it or a solution to the session timing out issue?

Are there any difference between fx. the Nvidia FX3800 and GTX 260?

Does anybody understand why I fell frustrated and confused about all this videocard discussions?
Some tells me that the FX3800 is a better card - more pro - stabillity etc. than low-price cards - like GTX 260/285/295 - and some tells me that GTX 260 = FX3800. I read on other webpages about how people are having problems having their GTX 260 recognized as a FX 3800 (not in PPro but by Nvidia software). Other places tells about how to softmod GTX 260 to a FX 3800. Some tells me that there is a big difference between these cards - others they are almost alike - same GPU etc. I read that the difference between GTX 260 and FX 3800 is only the looks of it from outside - inside they are alike - and that apart from that only drivers are different.
I have ordered the FX 3800 - believing it will perform better and more stable and give me really good playback rendering inside PPro CS5 compared to my GTX 260. If I get the same performance and stability by just changing two lines in a textfile with my old GTX 260 I feel cheated...I hope this is not happening.
Someone from Adobe or Nvidida - please tell us - what there is a differnece between fx. the GTX 260 and the FX 3800 besides from the outside look and some drivers? If there is no difference between them - I can not see any other reason for only supporting the FX cards than $$$...If there are a difference in Quadra/FX favour - and I sincerly hope so - I understand why you choose Quadro cards - but if they are just alike inside - I just feel we have all been mislead. I could have saved my money...time will show - I get the FX 3800 in a few days...can´t return it (danish rules when you buy it as a company) - so I´m 1000$ short this month...:(
I would feel much more comfortable in having ordered the FX 3800 if someone from Adobe could tell me excactly how much better FX 3800 is from the GTX 260 - apart from being supported and the GTX is not. Are there any more things going on inside PPro - deep inside - that affects performance with FX cards besides from two lines in a textfile? Haven´t we all experienced this in other situations? Like buying a car? Fx. Inside SKODA FABIA is a VW engine like the ones used in much more expensive VW cars. Only difference is the name and the outside look - and some comfort. The engine is the same - and in a way you could say that from an engine-point-of-view - the cars are alike. But you pay for comfort.
Is the same thing going on here? I pay more for FX 3800 for the looks of it from the outside and some software-drivers that makes it more stable - but inside it is just like GTX 260? So from a graphic-performance-GPU-point-of-view I actually have two cards that are alike and I reaaly am paying for software and not hardware?

No seriously - I know what I have done - and maybe I have done right - I don´t know? Time will show and I will sell or buy.
What I am frustrated about is the fact that I actually just decided to buy FX 3800 because Adobe and Nvidida toold me too - to get support for MPE and now it seems that my old GTX 260 is much like the FX 3800 if not the same inside? And I am frustrated about that it is possible to change a line in a simple textfile and suddenly get support for the GTX 260 to play MPE. This fact only put more lit on the conspiracy-fire about Adobe and Nvidia having made a simple software-trick to make some cards work others not = making a lot of money on fools like me...
You must admitt it is a rather tempting conclusion - if one is in the conspiracy-mood. Well - I try to think good about people. And Adobe convinced me at last that I needed the FX 3800 card. So I did order it eventually - because I need the MPE NOW - Can´t wait - having so bad performance and issues with PPro 4 - been so frustrated about edditting for almost ½ a year now - constantly having issues etc. And I am going to start new big project in 7 days. Have just spend 2000$ on upgrade to Master Collection and have making thoughts about wich card to buy long time ago - the GTX 285 or FX 3800 - to get the MPE support. And same day I order I suddenly see that the softmod makes my old GTX 260 to a FX 3800. And other posts claim that the cards are the same inside. No wonder I get frustrated - others must be the same.
So what I am trying to say is that: I feel like Adobe and Nvidida is not being honest with us. If it turns out that the only thing Adobe has done is making a simple textfile to make cards supported or not by enteringior changing the names of the cards inside the textfile - and nothing else....And if fx. a softmoded GTX 260 turns out to perform excactly the same and be as stable as a FX 3800 to 5-6 x the price - I will feel cheated and feel like a stupid fool.
I certainly do not hope this is what is going on. But it seems no one can help me but myself - testing and trying these cards - and I will try to post my results in this forum - so others might have easier tomake a choice...

Windows 7 will peer down through the VM and remember what hardware the VM is installed on. Migrate the VM to different Mac hardware, and on first boot, Windows 7 will advise you that you are not using genuine Microsoft Windows. It will then treat you as though it believes you misappropriated it.

I'm importing AVCHD files that are 5 digits long. 'Log an Transfer' seems to remove the leading 0's, when importing, and I'm forced to manually add them back in order to make sure that my clips stay in chronological order
