Return policy may be different from Apple's vs Best Buy. Regardless of crowds, only buy from Apple. Dealing with Best Buy in the future, if there's a problem it may not be worth what you believe to be a $40 savings.

You would have to buy it separately. Refurbished machines are sold as they were originally configured so you cannot customize the machine when you order it.

If I change the nation setting of my iTunes in order to buy a song from the American iTunes store, then change my setting back to the Korean store (where you cannot buy music) will that create any problems with my downloaded content? I want to buy an album that I cannot get hold of in Korea, but it is available in the US iTunes store. However since most of my apps are downloaded from the Korean store I'll need to switch back in order to update them. Does anyone know if there are any issues in doing this. I'd rather find out before I spend money, change my store setting back to Korea, and then get told I can't listen to the music because I bought it from the US store and my iTunes is set to the Korean store.
Cheers.You canot easily change your country settings. The iTunes Store in a country is intended only for use by that country's residents, and only while they are in the country. To use the iTunes Store in a country you need a credit card (or other card type if acceptable in a country) issued in that country, billed to an address in that country, and also be physically present in that country when using the store. You are also restricted to waiting 90 days between country changes.

You could check to see if there are any other stores that you can buy the song from. How about the artist's website? I've bought a couple of MP3s and even CDs from Australian artist's websites.

I am italian, and i always used an italian sim card and and an italian appleID. recently I bought a UK sim card, because I moved in the UK. The problem is that I would like to have access and buy new apps from the UK store, but my apple ID is valid only for the Italian store. I prefer to avoid the creation of a new account for a lot of reason that are not related to this post. Do you have any ideas?

MicheleNope. You can only have one credit card attached to an account at a time. Its not that big of a deal to use two accounts, users do this all the time. Create the second account(UK Account) in iTunes on your computer...sign out of your Italian account first. Then authorize your computer for this new account: Store>Authorize this computer. Then sync your phone. Now, to switch accounts on your phone: Settings>Store...tap the ID shown...sign out...then sign back in with the ID you want to use.

Every time I try to update or buy an app from the app store it says there is an unknown error
So everytime I try to update an app or buy an app from the app store it says unknown error (4). I don't know why it does this but it's really annoying and it has been like this for a while now. Itunes works perfectly for me. It's just the app store.
Try deleting the cache associated with the App Store.
Quit the App Store if it's open.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Relaunch the App Store and see if you can update or purchase an app. -

Have you redeemed your iTunes card to an account associated with an Apple ID?
Once you have your iPad associated with an Apple ID AND you have an account with a credit card associated with the same Apple ID AND you have some 'store credit' (from redeeming your iTunes card) then purchases use the store credit before they charge the credit card, so you should be ok!
Personally, I use 'store credit' as a way to monitor whether or not there have been any 'unauthorised' purchases because as soon as the store credit is zero, the security code from the credit card is needed for further purchases! It does mean that I have sometimes to top up store credit before making a purchase, but 'better safe than sorry'! -

Thanks.As far as I know, the warranty would be valid. but the other points about shipping costs, personal carriage, VAT on imports (which has to include shipping costs) are significant. Even to save a couple of hundred pounds, personally, I don't think it is worth the additional aggro.

Can I buy a song from the German iTunes Store while in the U.S.?
I'm from the US and have and buy all my music through the iTunes store. However, there's a song I want only available in the Deutchland iTunes store. It's .99 Euro. Anyone tried doing this? Is it possible? And does it equate to around $1.60 or whatever the exchange rate is? Thanks.

I'm a dual Canadian/US citizen. I move back and forth between the two.
To purchase from itunes in more than one country you need more than one account.
I set up my US account while I was in Canada, so you don't need to be in the Germany to buy from Germany. You do need a German itunes gift card and a mailing address in Germany.
I have a legitimate US address, but to the best of my knowledge the address isn't really verified. I'm not suggesting you do anything dishonest, but when you have ties to two countries residency can be a vague concept.
The really annoying part is itunes, and your ipod, will only recognize one account at a time. I have found that when I sync logged into my Canadian account apps purchased from the American store are disabled, even if they were already on the ipod.
Apple's licensing protection is not unbiased, I haven't yet had any problems when I sync logged into the US store.
Personally I think blocking content you've already purchased violates the consumer's rights. -

First, as others have already stated.....make sure the checkbox is deselected for "open folders in tabs instead of windows" in Finder Preferences.
If you're like me and don't like tabs very much, there is a way to make folders always open in windows with a simple click (I'm using Mavericks 10.9.5). Go to a root folder (for example, the Documents Folder), open it, and select View > Hide Toolbar, then all folders within that root folder will open in a new window.
As an alternative method, any folder can be opened in a new window by holding down either Command Key while clicking the folder. But sooner or later you will forget to hold down that key, and then clicking on a folder will open in a tab (which will automatically resize the window and cause much aggravation).
The Hide Toolbar trick will also work with any folder present on the Desktop. It will make all folders inside that folder open in new windows.
To make the Applications Folder open in a new window when opening it from the menu bar at the top of the screen, you will have to open the main hard drive folder and use the Hide Toolbar trick. This will cause all folders inside it to open in new windows.
