Is there any Page function equivalent to Word's brush icon that can paste paragraph style to independent paragraphs multiple times in a Page document?

In Page Manual, I did find an instruction that allows us to do something similar, but it is so tedious having to go back and forth between dropdown commands.
I want something simple like Microsoft Word's paint brush icon that simply let me copy the paragraph style (size of font, character style, spacing etc) and then just paste the style to other paragraphs independently - separated by subtitles with different font size and styles that I want to keep.
I am using iMac with the latest Mountain Lion and Page 09 now.

Once you have a style set up it is only a single action to apply it to any text.
Personally, I never got "the hang" of using that paint brush in Word. Give me copy & paste style any day, which is what I used in AppleWorks. With styles in Pages it's even easier.

I've been reading the Help in iTunes, as well as searching the Net, but I'm not finding the functionality I want. Basically, I want to have a mini Now Playing window that I can reposition so it's not covered up by other windows while I'm working. Is there a plugin that will do this, or is it a standard feature of iTunes, that I've overlooked?

I'm not sure what you're asking about. What "announcement" are you seeing? Is it possible you've installed a plugin of some sort? iTunes, on its own, doesn't announce what song is playing, except in its usual little gray window.
You can get rid of the iTunes window entirely by clicking the red "close window" button in the upper left (or typing command-option-1). If you are still looking for an answer to your original question — creating a mini-player that floats on top of all other windows — click the green "minimize" button and select "Keep MiniPlayer on top of all other windows" in Preferences > Advanced.

In the Podcasts app, is there any way to remove the list of recent podcasts that can be downloaded?

I'm wondering whether there's any way to remove all those recent podcasts (either unplayed or only partially played) listed as downloadable from the Podcasts app on the iPhone. If I'd wanted all these additional episodes on the phone, I would have put them there. I don't want them there, yet the app insists upon larding up my podcast lists with these useless episodes. Nor do I want to mark them all as "played." There's a reason some of them are only partially played and others not at all. I prefer to keep them marked that way in my master list. But I do not want them on the iPhone.
I've tried searching online, but am not coming up with a solution. Do I have to go to some third-party app to have cleaner, tidier, and smaller lists? When I intend to carry around only three or four episodes for a given podcast, it is really REALLY annoying to have to pick through a list of forty-some-odd offerings to find the ones I want.
I sure am hoping some techie-inclined soul has a solution for me.

My job is to make interactive CDs using adobe flash cs 5. In the Interactive CD, there is a video with a duration of about 2 to 2.5 hours with flv format which should be included.

Yes. The difference in some earlier versions is that they allow greater than 16K frames in a document, however Flash Player doesn't (so your SWF just gets cut off). Also, the Timeline starts behaving very strange as soon as you go beyond 16K. I imagine that has always been that way, or has been for a very very long time for both the Player and Timeline behavior.
I think two versions of the authoring tool introduced two different dialogs at certain editing points to notify you about this, but earlier versions just don't have the notifications but did have the limitation behind the scenes.

I don't know that one - but with slight modification I can filter nodes values also - not onlyl attributes:

Java is an object-oriented language, so you're not just searching for a method to do what you want, but for a Class, that provides that ability.
And since you don't define what "the date that I want" means I can only guess.
If you've got the date value in a String in some format, then you might look into the DateFormat or SimpleDateFormat classes.

This because SSD's write data in pages, but can only delete in blocks.
