Is there any place I can see a full list of what is available in my iCloud after my first full match?

It'd be really nice if I could log into a website somewhere which would list what's been matched, what's been not matched, but uploaded, and what's been purchased.
Seems like the only way is to open up a new install of iTunes and watch iCloud populate a blank library.

Sorry but no, Apple cannot give you that information. The only way they could give anyone such an IP address would be if they received a court order to do so, if even then; I don't know what sort of tracking and logs they do.
However, if this email claimed that someone had tried to reset your password and in any way gave you a link to click to confirm your account information, the email was almost certainly a phish. Such phishing messages have been quite common over the last two or three weeks and should be deleted without responding. You may wish to manually type in the URL for Apple's page for managing an Apple ID and change your password, just as a precaution, and make sure you've set good security questions using responses that can't just be looked up for you (they don't have to be real information; you can use any response you wish as long as you can remember what you entered).

  • Is there any way I can see which of many "reduce noise" is on a clip?

    Hi Guys
Is there any way I can see which of many "Reduce Noise" actions is on a particular 'shot' from a video clip in my timeline?
I understand that the entire list of Reduce Noise actions I see are all applied to the entire video clip, except in different areas of the same clip, from which I've extracted various shots. I performed different, specific, Reduce Noise actions all on smaller parts of the clip since some Reduce Noise actions needed to be a bit more tailored than others.
Under "Actions" on the left I have a list of approx 10 ticked Reduce Noise actions. Is there any way, by clicking on a clip, I can tell which of these specific Reduce Noise actions apply to that particular area of a clip.
If anyone can help me out I'd really appreciate it.
    Warm regards
    Peter

You need to explain why it does not work including exact error messages and what version of iphoto the old library is from
the general answer is that you can not view it using iPhoto - you can convert and open it -  if the old library is from iphoto '08 (version 7.x.x) ore earlier you need to back it up and ad and run the iPhoto library upgrader -  iPhoto '11 or later: About the Library Upgrader - Apple Support - If it is from a newer version or after you run the upgrader then held down the option key while launching iPhoto until the select library window comes up and select the old library from that window to finish the conversion
Repeat the option = launch to switch back to the current library
You can use iPhoto Library Manager - http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/ -  to merge the libraries after they all are for the same version if you want

I've received an email of an unauthorised access which states it was done in Canada, is there any way I can request Apple to inform me what the IP address that made unauthorised access was?
I want to know as it possibly relates to other security issues I've had of late and it would help further my investigation. Would a subject access request possibly allow me to recieve this information? As far as I know there's no way to see a list of when and where I sign in using my Apple ID?

  • Is there any way I can get my play lists back to my iPod itouch as the last time I snyc my itouch it deleted them from my itouch and from my pc

is there any way I can get my play lists back to my iPod itouch as the last time I snyc my itouch it deleted them from my itouch and from my pc

While I can't help you get back Playlists that have been deleted (by iTunes!), I can hopefully help you stop that happening again. The latest version of iTunes (on 4th July 2012) is 10.6.3.25 and this version fixes the bug that has been present (in iTunes) for the last few updates.
So first of all, make sure you have iTunes 10.6.3.25 installed.
For any Playlist you created, you will simply have to compile them again from memory, or by starting again.
For the built-in Playlists that came with iTunes:
Recently Added - see the contribution from Jolly Giant in this post https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3022568.
For other Playlists, tell us which one(s) you're after and we should be able to post instructions here for you.

  • Is there a place I can see how much data I uploaded other server like the old version of Sync did?

In the old version of Firefox Sync you can see what data was uploaded, with the next Sync I see nothing and when I got my account on the website Firefox, I don't see nothing just a sign in and change password screen. Would there be more there soon?

    Hi Kurbo,
Please do leave feedback for the developers at input.mozilla.org, currently there is not a feature that shows how much data or what data is uploaded.
However if you are handy at picking up apis there are some apis that can be read about [https://blog.mozilla.org/services/2014/05/08/firefox-accounts-sync-1-5-and-self-hosting/ here]

  • We have a satellite connection that restricts our download amount per day. Since watching videos on YouTube and viewing Facebook photos online counts as downloads, is there any way I can see how much each web page is in terms of MB or KB size?

Our satellite company's Fair Access Policy allows:  425 mb max per 24 hours, but it seems like we often go over that amount by just surfing the internet. We have 2 adults and 3 kids who use Mac computers. Is there a way to view the amount of KB's or MB's used after viewing a page? For instance: does looking at a Facebook page use 100 KBs? does looking at a YouTube video use 10 MBs?
    Thanks.

There are a few things you can do to cut down on bandwidth. I set Firefox never to check the cache with pages online, so that if I go back to a previous page, it does not need to download again, but can be pulled out of the cache.
    browser.cache.check_doc_frequency - set to 2 (never)
I use Flashblock to prevent Flash items from downloading automatically. If there is any Flash item you want to see, you click the icon over that space, and that one item will load but none of the others on the page will load until you want them to do so.
I use Adblock Plus to block ads. This saves bandwidth as well, since it stops banner ads from being loaded, and blocks popup ads as well.

  • Is there any way I can see field dominance?

I have been working on a project shot in HDV1080i50. Now I need to make a 14by9 PAL master in DigiBeta format. So I create an umcompressed PAL sequence and drop the final AIC 1080i50 version of the program into it.
Sending the uncompressed file off to be printed to DigiBeta the bureau says the fields are reversed. My problem is that I can't find any way to see the final project to see if I have got the field dominance right. Does anyone know of a tool that would let me look at the fields in the final Uncompressed print I generate. (when I play it on the computer screen it appears to play fine since computer monitors don't do interlaced)
    thanks,

    Hi Paul,
I've been battling these same issues, making DVD's from HDV footage, I didn't go via AIC, or out to a bureau, though.
I found that, the uncompressed codec, when dropped into compressor, is defaulted to a different field dominance than a DV codec, even though they were both lower field dominant in the FCP sequence.
I needed to manually change the dominance of the uncompressed movie, to lower, before I created an MPEG 2.
Can you tell the bureau to do the same ? That your footage is correct (lower first) but that they are not treating the uncompressed file as such.
What are they using, once you have given the file to them - compressor ?
The shift field filter is right. But the whole thing is quite confusing, and I found the default field dominance in compressor was different, if I printed an uncompressed file out, or exported directly from FCP to compressor (which is very slow, but does not require the uncompressed file).
However, regardless of the default compressor set, lower field dominance was correct, and the saved movie was correct for lower field.
    Hope this helps.

  • My ipad was stolen however i have the serial number...is there any way i can see if someone is using it?

My ipad was stolen but I have the serial number.
How can I track it and how can I register my new one?

If they haven't already wiped it and started over, and you activated Find my iPhone on your iPad, you might be able to track it.  If you did not activate Find my iPhone, you will not be able to track it.  Apple will not help you.  But, you should immediately go and change your Apple ID password, and any other passwords you use for accounts like Twitter, Facebood, Mail, Apps you make purchases with, like the Starbucks Mobile App, etc.

  • Is there any way I can see what has been added?

So I noticed that sometimes that films in the film club are added on different days than Thursday and sometimes television shows are added to the On Demand on other days beside Thursday. Is there some sort of alert or email service that lets us know what has been added on to BT Vision? It would help alot.

    Is this link any help?
    http://www.btvision.bt.com/on-demand/?cat=filmclub
It seems to give the film club info.
If you sort the list by "ending" date, shoul should be able to find recently added ones.

  • Is there any place one can report Safari problems?

I ran into a problem with Safari on the Air Canada website, www.aircanada.ca
When booking a flight, if you select the name of the city/airport from the separate open window (click on the arrow below the origin and destination field), then the name of the city/airport is filled in with a leading blank space.
Going then to search for flights brings back the city list because the software doesn't recognize the city with the leading blank space.
Take the space out in both the origin and destination and everything works fine.
If I do the same thing with Firefox, I don't get the leading space and I never have the problem.
I'm using safari 2.0.2 which I think is the latest

I received this very nice reply from Air Canada,
It seems they know about the problem since I didn't tell them about the extra space that is being inserted - only that I couldn't proceed with the booking.
But at least it's not a "Can't be us" reply which one often gets.

    Dear Knut Schartmann,
    Thank you for your email!
Feedback from our valued customers is important and your comments and suggestions are appreciated, as it enables us to monitor the quality of our products and services.
At this present time, Safari browser is compatible with our web site for most of the applications. Our IT Department is currently working on having this browser fully functional. In the meantime, you may experiment errors when choosing a city from the drop-down menus. For some reasons, a space is included in front of the first letter of the city name. Removing the space allows you to process with the regular booking flow.
Thank you for your patience in this manner.

  • I had my 4S backed up to iTunes but not iCloud. I recently got a new 4S and the store transferred my pictures, but 150 of them didn't transfer over. Is there any way I can see the pictures from my first phone on my computer since I had had it backed up?

None of the pictures show up on Iphoto either

If you are logged in to icloud with your same Apple ID. Go to setting on your phone>Photos & Camera and turn ON my Photo Stream.
