Hi all,
I had an application on the portal.Is it possible to make it visible only for some users only .I know it can be made it by using 2 different roles.But I want to use the same role as the rest of the applications are common for everybody.Is there any possibilty making iviews as user specific visible?

there is nothing like user specific visiblity.you have only role based display which you are aware .
or you can set the permissions to that iview by giving the username to whom u want to give the access

Is there a reason why you need an "ear" file ? So what is the task you want to fullfill.
For me it sounds like you want to integrate a jax-ws service inside a cq5 project. To achive that you have to integrate a jax-rs client in cq5.
One option to achive that is to integrate Apache CXF like documented here:

YES, you can see in SU01 and select the user . ANd check for the Roles assigned to that particular User.
By seeing the Roles itself we can be able to say the Authorized or not

My iPhone 4 running iOS 7.0.4 deleted all of my stored notes, I'm currently restoring to see if I can retrieve them, is there any way I can restore a specific saved backup?

I'm very worried as I had some bank details and other personal information stored in these notes. Is there any way I can select a specific stored backup to restore from?

Well, in iTunes, if you had not changed to sync notes to Outlook, that would answer that question. I sync my notes to my Outlook and have never had an issue. The only thing you need to watch is your archive setting. If you have notes set to archive after a certain amount of time, you will find that after non-use on the iPhone, they can seem to disappear. They will just not sync back, but are kept in the archive of Outlook. They are never deleted unless you actually delete them.

You used the data. Verizon can not see what it was sued for. However your phone can see whats apps used the data. go to settings-data usage- there will be a place that says data usage cycle. line the dates up with your cycle. then there will be a bar graph below that extend bother white bars one all the way to the left and one all the way to the right. after those are extended below that will be a list of apps, there should be one that used over 2 gb and that will show you what app used that data in her purse

You both need, & should use different Apple ID's for iCloud, iMessage & FaceTime. You both can continue to use the same Apple ID for iTunes content.
Your husband needs an Apple ID for iMessage, FaceTime & iCloud.
The Apple ID needs to be a verified email address. Once you have an email address, that can be verified, go here & create the ID:

Then on his phone, turn off Contacts, Calendars, etc. for iCloud. You'll be prompted to keep the data or delete it from the phone, then turn off iMessage, FaceTime & delete the iCloud account...Settings>iCloud...scroll down...delete account. Then, setup iCloud using the new Apple ID, turn on iMessage & Facetime.
This will have no affect on the ID you both share for iTunes content, & you can continue to do so.

You can selectively flush plans from buffer pool, not all cache objects related to database . See

Is there any timeline soon that apple users will be able to open things that need adobe flash player? I can not even play any games on Facebook, I can't open certain files, pictures sent to me or things like forms I news to see when I am not home

I am so frustrated about Adobe Flash player. I can not play any Facebook games, open certain files and pictures and documents that I need to access because not only does this phone not do it but my old Palm Pre couldn't do it either. I have had so many times where I needed to access things either online or via email, or message that I can not even look at because of this. I have to wait until I for home or ask someone else to do it for me which is embarrassing. I rave about my iPhone 4S all the time because it is truly great except for this. When it use to happen with my Pal Pre I figures once I got my iPhone that it wouldn't happen anymore but I guess I was completely wrong. I have had this problem for years and always get a message saying that it's being worked on. Well a couple of years is a long time to work on it. I understand about contracts and stuff but why is it taking a company such as Apple to be able to get it for their products? I get a lot and always want to play the games on Facebook but I can't do it on most of them at least the ones I have tried. So I can not play against anyone at that time I have to wait until I get home or use someone else's computer or something. Please tell me that in the extremely near future that this will not be a problem anymore. PLEASE!! I am sure I am not the only one out there who is having issues and if you do get it available please let there be an upload/upgrade for current phones and not just for future versions of Apple phones. That just wouldnt be very fair to all of your loyal customers and tell everyone to get your products because they are great and end up leaving this little problem out until they by your phone. Especially if they just got the phone they have. You guys are awesome with technology I have faith that you can make this available to all Apple products old and new by uploads or upgrades. Thank you hopefully can give me some info about the status with this or if there wen is one. I would have thought that being a company such as you are that it would already be taking care of right from the beginning and not wait years to take care of somewhat that is very important ro have especially when there is so much our there using Adobe Flash now. I am not sure if this is just a blog with customers or if the company actually sees these posts but I am just hoping company or not that someone knows something about this. Is there any need for an InDesign user to use InCopy as well?

We are looking to do a software refresh from CS3 to CS5, and when auditing users we discoverd a handful of people that are using InDesign and InCopy. My previous thoughts about InCopy, was that the program isn't needed if you have InDesign, but users have given the following reasons for using both. Can someone tell me if these reasons are founded, or if there is a way to do these things in InDesign only?
Example 1: InDesign: Use to edit pages before going to press, cut copy to fit, re-write headlines and insert captions. InCopy: Use daily to perform first reads and content edits of stories submitted by writers and to write my own copy, and to format stories before sending them to the copy editor for final editing.
Example 2: InCopy CS2 I use in conjunction w/InDesign when we create an issue.
Example 3: I use Adobe Incopy CS2 several times per week to format and file stories with our copydesk. I also use Adobe InDesign CS3 to make cuts and late edits on page each week before my section ships to the printer.
Example 4: Use both daily for printed materials

Thank you John, for one user it appears he is doing to copy editing as well as the design. He is using InCopy to format tex files before they are imported in InDesign. Can you tell me if InDesign can be used as a word-processing software?
Here are exaples of a few of the other workflows: When I send stories to our copy chief, they have to be in an InCopy template for him to format the fonts. FM's two reporters send stories to me in Word, and I edit them before putting them in an InCopy template and sending them proofread. They then do an initial proofread for house style before formatting them and sending them to our art department for page layout in InDesign.
After the pages are laid out by our art director, I use InDesign in order to cut stories to fit, proofread and edit and write captions on page. Years ago, we had an additional copy editor to help our copy chief with this stage of the process, but he got laid off. They gave me and one other editor copies of InDesign at that point, so that we could distribute his work on shipping days. Since we're a weekly, I currently use both of these programs extensively every week.
It appears these users are wearing multiple hats, I was just under the impression that InDesign could do anything that InCopy does (and more ofcourse). Apparently I was incorrect?

i had looking for Oracle express edition for MAC OS X platform
and it seems there is no one for it ( there is only for Linux / Windows )
any suggestion on how to get oracle and learn it on my MAC( Leopard) machine ?
actually its strange problem i thought Oracle will support MAC in any case while all other technologies ran on MAC ( Sun tech, PHP ,Apache , MySQL )

You might like the instructions on my blog for configuring the Oracle Client 10g on your Mac OS X after you install it in a VMWare Fusion virtual machine. Both Linux and Windows versions are available for Oracle Database 10g Express Edition. My students typically install it in a x64 XP Pro version. Allocate at least 1 GB to the VM.

Is there any way I can control which specific access point I connect (and stay connected) to from amongst a set of access points with the same SSID?

I'm working from a boat in a harbor in which the ISP has deployed numerous access points around the periphery. All the access points share the same SSID and each is configured to use either channel 1, 6 or 11. From my location, there are over a dozen of these access points "visible" (based on the the output of WiFi Scanner) with a range of RSSI and S/N values that vary over time.
The ISP has told me that the quality of my connection should be "perfectly fine" for any access point with an RSSI value better than -75, but I know from experience that my connection quality is miserable (i.e. < 50Kbps download) for almost all of these, including those with RSSI values better than -75. There is at least one exception, however, which gives me on the order of 2Mbps download, which is "great" in this context.
I've tried using a more powerful USB antenna plugged into my MacBook Air (mid 2011), but as far as I can tell, it really doesn't make much difference. Neither does my location within the boat. The overriding factor seems to be which access point I happen to connect up to.
I should point out that the closest access points are about 75 yards away, with many of them being several hundred yards away or more. I'm guessing that even though the signal strength of some of the distant access points is causing them to get "chosen" some times, the results are unacceptable due to the distance.
I'm hoping that I can determine, through experimentation, which access point(s) provide(s) acceptable performance and then configure my Mac to limit my connection to those points through whatever mechanism I need to use (e.g. channel, MAC id, etc.).

Establishing a wireless connection with a client computer is left to the access point for various reasons. One reason that your Mac may not connect to the strongest access point is that it may have reached a limit of the number of clients it can serve, leaving it unable to accept a connection with another. The limit may not be very large.
Suppose that happens, and your Mac establishes a connection with a more distant access point having a weaker signal. Then, suppose a client drops off the network. Doesn't this mean your Mac will switch to the stronger access point? Not necessarily. The throughput delivered to and from your Mac would have to drop below a threshold specified in the AP for it to drop the client, leaving your Mac free to connect with another one. The reason for this is to prevent rapid switching from one AP to another in an area in which two signals are of approximately equal quality. If that were to occur the frequent and repetitive handshaking between the two devices would slow throughput to zero.
In an environment in which several access points are broadcasting the same SSID, Apple provides no insight as to how it determines which access point to choose. This is the reason I suspect this "choice" is a function of the router, or access point. The connection originates with it, not the Mac.
Now, what would solve your dilemma would be to determine a way to control the access point with which your Mac connects, by specifying the access point's unique MAC address for example. In this happy circumstance, you could maintain an editable "whitelist" or "blacklist" of the harbor's access points and be able to choose which among them you prefer.
I do not believe OS X maintains such a record of MAC addresses though, only those of the routers it uses. If I am correct about that, such a solution is unlikely to exist. Don't let that discourage you from searching for one though... I would concentrate on something like "selecting access point by specific MAC address".
