Is there any problem with the new update 6.1.2 for iphone 5?

After I updated my iphone 5 to the new update there seems to be some difficulties with the camera. I get pink lines everywhere. It is a matter of seconds before it gets clear and again pink. But the problem started after the update. I asked other people who use iphone 5 and they said they didnt have the same problem. Its kinda weird I think. any suggestions?

Standard troubleshooting...
Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the red slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
Remove the camera app from Recently Used list...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Tap and hold any icon in this list until they wiggle
- Press the red to delete the Camera app from this list.
- Press the home button twice when done.
- Restart the Camera app
If still a problem restore with your backup.
If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue.

Is there a problem with the new aperture update ?

Hi,
Got the lastest update for aperture and just opened up some recent photos in aperture and it looked like missing pixels in the picture. Some of the pictures, distortion of pixels was terrible. At first I thought my new Macbook pro screen was faulty. It was the third time today that I was looking at the same pictures and I knew there was no problem with the file and then I remembered the aperture update. I opened the same pictures with iphoto and then set the photos as desktop pictures and they came out perfect.
Has anyone else had the same problems after the update ?

Sometimes these issues are user related, but not always.. I agree with Allan that you need to let Aperture finish its tasks.

Is there something wrong with the new update that keeps disconnecting my internet from my iPod touch 5g?

My home wifi has been disconnected from my iPod touch once again. It happened once yesterday morning and again this morning. After reattempting to connect again and again to the internet yesterday, it finally worked. But now I have the same problem.
I mean, my laptop has no internet connection issues whatsoever. So, I know it's not my internet's fault. And my iPod is practically brand new as well, so I'm assuming there's nothing wrong with it. Therefore, I'm not intending to bring it into the Apple store to have it checked out.
My last guess is that maybe it's some kind of glitch with the latest update? Are any other iPod touch 5g users who are experiencing the same problem?

You are not giving us enough information. A singe move can easiy take more than one GB. Ehne you click on the iPod under Devices in iTunes on the computer a colored bargraph will show the discribution of storage used on the iPod. What does that show? If the "other" category is greater than about 1 GB you can restore yu iPod, sometimes to factory defaults/new iPod is required, to get it to its normal of about 1/2 GB.

Problems with the new update on iPad

Hi, i just installed the new update on my i pad and now its not working anymore, it keeps trying to open, but it doesnt even got past the black background with the apple logo on it, then it closes and reopens after, and its going on and on since yesterday, what can i do? I bought my iPad 2 years ago now, but i've been caring alot for it, its in really good shape and all, is there anything i can do to fix the problem or do i have to go to the apple store... and even there, will they fix it or tell me to buy a new one...

I already tried holding both the Home button and Sleep/Wake buttons but it didn't work, and since my iPad is not staying open long enough it doesn't connect to my itunes...

I have been trying to download the new updates but even when I follow the instructions given it still fails. Can anyone help?

I also had this issue, went through the help page at Error U44M1I210 | Install updates then got directed to Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC – unfortunately my error log did not contain a summary section.
I tried out Steve's suggestion and this fixed the issue and I can also use inDesign on the main account. Will I have to do this every time I get an InDesign update?

Three days ago I update my Flash Player to 10.2 since then I can't watch any vidoes.
There is a green line who multiply the video, two screens with the same picture.
I have tryed to install it again' but it did'nt work.

Hi, if turning off the hardware acceleration is working then I would use it. As Pat mentioned below, you might try updating your video card drivers . H.A. doesn't work for every system, as there are requirements.

Problem with the new update with my 3GS

Well I have an iPhone 3GS that I've had for about 2 months. In my office I always got 5 bars with the original iOS 3 that came with the device and when I updated to 4.0 I still had 5 bars in my office but since updating to 4.0.1, all I get is 1-3 bars and if I travel anywhere I usually get 1-2 bars and never get the full 5. I updated when I first plugged my phone in which was around 2 PM and thats when it said the update was recommended by apple for all iPhone users so I said, "If Apple recommends the update, I guess I should.." Mistake.
My mom has an iPhone 3GS as well and she gets the full 5 bars (4.0 NOT 4.0.1) Same with one of my friends who has the 3GS.
So what I'm getting at is can I please downgrade to the regular 4.0 or 4.0.0? I really need to because I am getting to familiar with Call Failed.
If theres a link on the apple support that would be great but I would prefer to use something thats officially through apple...

What 4.0.1 changes is the display of signal strength, which was much too optimistic in earlier versions of iOS. The actual signal strength has not changed, nor will it ever by a software update.
You cannot compare signal strength by how many bars are drawn. This is an interpretation of actual signal strength (which is expressed in deciBells) by the software. This software can change between revisions of software on the same device and most definitely is different between devices of different manufacturers.

Itunes will not open on computer says it has stopped working and it must be closed. My computer tells me its an incompatible app. Is there a problem with the new itunes or is it my computer?

I have recently downloaded the new itunes. My computer will open itunes but then a screen pops up that says Itunes has stopped working and must close. Not completely sure. But if you think it is an iTunes issue...... follow through this: Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
ALSO, if you feel like all your music will be gone as well follow through these 2:

That is typically a hardware error. Try updating on another computer, and if you're still getting that same error, then you definitely have a hardware issue for which the device needs to be replaced

Lightroom should recognize your camera (assume it's LR3 or later) automatically without pointing it to the DCIM directory. The files you are referring to is system file I think and not the photos; thus OS cannot read the file.
Do you have a card reader? For some reason, if you connect your camera into Lightroom directly, sometimes LR doesn't show the preview of your images. Instead you'll get ? next to a gray box. If you don't have a card reader, just plug your camera in, ignore the ? and the gray box (this is LR problem, not your camera), then import them anyway. You should see your test shot once it's done importing.

Is there a problem with the latest iTunes update?

After getting the most recent iTunes update my iPhone is no longer recognized by iTunes. When its connected to my computer it charges but you can't see it on iTunes and none of the content can be accessed. I've never had this problem before, and it doesn't happen on my other computer with an older version of iTunes. I've gone through the troubleshooting suggestions for this on the Apple site but nothing seems to work. Is there a problem with the new update? And will it be getting fixed soon?
