boris is vector based, and the basic fcp text is bitmapped. What that means is that you can resize and reposition your type in the control tab with boris without any loss in quality. You cannot do this with fcp text. Also, I think the dropshadow, kerning and leading options are more extensive with boris. Not positive about this as I abandoned the basic fcp titler a long time ago.

Is there any reasons to use Cryptix?

Actually Cryptix JCE provider has not been updated for more then one year (well, they released a signed jar for 1.4, but no changes in the functionality) and it is definetely not the best one in terms of the performance.
So, why someone still needed to use Cryptix?

I agree. I started working with Cryptix but also recognized soon that it's outdated. I switched to Bouncycastle now if I need functionality that is not in the SunJCE provider.

Yes, I've considered adding titles and/or generators in the FCPX storyline, but this creates a need to render the entire timeline. As I'm juggling library locations and hard drive spaces I just didn't want to add a new render that will occupy a lot of space. It's also a bit of visual clultter for me, so my goal is to find the best workflow for adding this stuff on or after export.

I am using Jdev and SOA 11.1.1.2
I have a process and in that I am using a transforation.
I have tested below scenarios:
1) We have a dateconversion function, and i passed in correct value to that function so it got faulted and throws subLanguage Exception.
2)I have given wrong DVM name, so again it got faulted and throws subLanguage Exception.
3)I defined an XSL variable and used that in another template without passing, so it got faulted and throws subLanguage Exception.
4)I used a substring function without giving starting and ending indexes..so it got faulted and throws subLanguage Exception.
I have a catchAll and in that i am sending notification and in that notification i am using conact('CustomInfo',ora:getFaultAsString())
I found that except in 4th scenario in all scenarios ora:getFaultAsString() is returning null .(Even for 1,2,3, scenarios it is giving javax.xml.transform.TransformerException and for 4th scenario itis giving Fatal Error)

I can think of such case only if you pick memory id of some standard name. Anyhow I can't imagine this happens w/o running any standard report on you machine from your custom report. ABAP memory is user dependant so you have your own roll area wherein all run programs can communicate. If you don't run any standard report by means of SUBMIT, you don't have to worry about this aspect either.
Futhermore if you run separate GUI session, or sinmply use /o in same session, you open new external session which gets its own new ABAP memory. So you don't affect your previous one at all.
If you want to be extremely careful, use memory id of some custom, original name i.e. I always use such naming convention NAME_OF_PROGRAM_XXXX where XXX denotes its usage i.e. XXX = 'EMPLOYEES'. If I also don't use SUBMIT I am 100% sure no other program touches/flushes this memory.
Don't believe your collegues and use ABAP memory whenever needed, but always consider context of program and where it lies in the memory. If they persist, please send them here to discuss this matter giving some good reason why they discourage you to do.
BTW: This could be an issue with SAP Memory, but with ABAP no chance.

Is there any reason or my why cursor is stuck on the spinning rainbow wheel?

Lately my macbook has been freezing, and I'm thinking that it's being overloaded. Most of the time the cursor is stuck on the spinning rainbow wheel, but it will eventually return back into the arrow. It's currently stuck as the spinning wheel, but I am able to click and access sites. Is there anything I should do to get this checked?
EDIT: When I open a new tab, the cursor goes back to normal. Is there any reason why it is doing that in the other tab?

Use the PC KB and hold Windows key + r key at bootup.
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
If that doesn't help Reinstall the OS.

Is there any reason I shouldn't work this way?

Given the lack of batch capture in FCE is there any reason why I shouldn't work in the following way:
1. Import video in large chunks using capture now
2. Use DV start stop and Make sub-clip
3. Export just the sub-clips I want as self-contained movies
4. Close the project and delete the original capture files and the FCE project file
5. Start a new project and import the movies I saved in step 3.
My reasons for wanting to do this are mainly to save disc space but also to reduce clutter in the bins. So far as I can see this works fine. The only downsides I can see are:
1. The extra time it takes but this is offset against the chore of capturing individual clips instead of using capture now.
2. The fact that reimported clips have their audio tracks set to mono mix but it seems easy enough to correct this. (As an aside, if I import a .mov file saved from Quicktime it imports into FCE with the audio set to stereo - why the difference?).
I'd be happy enough working this way, I think, provided I could be confident that I'm not going to lose quality by saving and then re-importing. Will I? Are there any other downsides I've not thought of?

You shouldn't lose any quality in the audio or video, but you may lose the timecode track. I'm not sure if you'll lose it, but if you do, you won't be able to recapture the project clips from the original tape because the timecode would be required. This isn't an issue, if you don't ever need to recapture. The timecode may even be retained... I'd have to do an export to see. As a matter of workflow, you may want to think seriously about keeping the timecode, because you can back-up your project file and have some assurance that you can recover from a chatastrophic failure simply by restoring the project file and recapturing from the original tape.
Regarding your audio and video; unless you were to add effects to the video, there should be no loss in exporting and importing. Losses in DV are incurred when you add filters (alter the image) and recompress. The audio is uncompressed PCM, so no losses to be had there, unless you change the sampling rate.

You use synchronize to prevent 2 or more threads accessing the same block of code of the same object (or class for static) at the same time. JEE wouldn't change that.
The question is, should one use synchronization in JEE apps or should one find a way to avoid needing it entirely to avoid multiple threads (usually requests) blocking. This does not necessarily mean to let threads into the same code in the same object without regard to state. Maybe each thread should have it's own object instance. It depends what you're doing.

I need to build my ipa with old version of Engine because i have some problems about loading images from outside. Since with Air 15 it is default engine, and i cannot quit Air 15 because of the iTunes specs. I cannot add -useLegacyAOT=yes to compiler options on Adobe Flash Builder 4.6 because it seems that it can be added at FB4.7.
So is there any way to add this options when i am using FB4.6

Is there any information about using iCloud on a Mac with multiple user accounts (Mountain Lion)

When upgrading to Mountain Lion, you are asked to sign in using your iCloud ID. I don't understand how to set up the proper synching of "stuff" if your Mac has multiple user accounts, and they each have their own iCloud ID.
The whole issue of supporting multiple users on a Mac and making everything easy to understand with regard to iTunes and iCloud is, in my opinion, currently in a state of disaster. Apple needs to address this. They have conveniently made it a non-issue on iPads by not allowing multiple users. I can tell you that as one of the resident iOS and Apple experts in my office, most of the questions I get from others (not work-related) are on this topic. It needs to be easier to understand and accomplish.

You can also use the LimitLoader step to load your string into to step similar to the Numeric Step type.

Reset the device, restart the device, try downloading any other app.
All of these are basic steps that could have been found by a simple search of the forums as a resolution for the issue.
