Is there any Security or Change Log for Shockwave Player 12.1.3.153 available?

I haven't seen so far any Security or Change Log for Shockwave Player 12.1.3.153. Given the Update ID SW12-13153 this seems to be an ordinary update (not a security hotfix with the prefix APSB...). Has anyone seen a change log?
Thanks.

As always: no.  The last Security Bulletin issued for Shockwave Player was http://helpx.adobe.com/security/products/shockwave/apsb14-10.html (March 13, 2014).

  • Is there any kind of change log for UME?

Is there any kind of logging of changes to users or roles in UME?  We are on GRC 5.3 SP13.
We have a strange situation in our production RAR system.  The Change History shows some changes where made to a function on 7/8.  However the userid indicated by the Changed By field currently shows as not havig access to make function changes in production.
They can make function changes in test, so I thought maybe they did an Rule Import.  However they don't have the access in production to perform the Rule Import either.  Also, the Change History in the test RAR system does not show any changes to the function in question by this userid on 7/8.
I am assuming that if you did a Rule Import and brought over the Change History records, the date on these records would be the exact same as shown in test.  (i.e. they would show the date when the function change was made in the test system, not the date when the Change History was imported into production)
Also the Change History shows the last Rule Upload was on 7/2, and the last Rule Generation was also run on 7/2.  This would seem to indicate that no one else performed a Rule Import on 7/8 either.
    Any ideas on what happened?
The only thing I can think of is that this user did have the access back on 7/8, but that it has since been removed.  But I don't have a way to prove this.
    Thanks.

    Hi Bob,
Looking at your explanation, it seems impossible situation. How ever I remember in early patches of GRC AC 5.3 there was an issue with RAR change log. The change history would show wrong IDs in Function/Risk change.
That was fixed in patch 9. Not sure whether the same issue is returned again.

  • How do we chcek change Logs for any stndrd transaction

    Hi gurus,
Are there any tables to check change Logs for any SAp standard t-code ?
    Thanks
    Kylie

    ALex ,
For eg :if its a t-code related to Purchasing : then Purchase Order and it's corresponding item level details are retrieved.
But i m thinking in a different way: i need to check LOGS of a t-code which might have a transport request
following such a transport request i can get the USER details who migrtaed the changes of t-code (for eg:ME23n)
from SAP QA to SAP PROD.
    Thanx

  • Is there a reviewable change log for Creative Cloud updates

This morning I received a Creative Cloud notification: "A new version of Creative Cloud is available. Update now?". Is there a log that tells us what has been modified so we know what is being installed? I prefer to know whats going on with my machine than just accepting any and all action buttons.
Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Is there any way to change the default font for outgoing text-messages, in "Messages"? (OSX 10.10)

Is there any way to change the default font for outgoing text-messages, in "Messages"?
I can change it for one conversation, but then it resets to the default, tiny font.
The preferences menu only lets me change the conversation font.
    (OSX 10.10)

    Hi,
As you may remember there used to be a Messages pane to the Preferences where the Font and colour of the Balloons or background and the Font text colour could be changed.
And there was a Format Menu for character, word and Sentence changes in the current IM or iMessage.
Those have gone in Yosemite's version of Messages (Despite it retaining the designation of Messages 8 the same as Mavericks' version).
All that can be done now is set the size of the font and this has been moved to the General Section of the Preferences.
The Yosemite version has also been fixed to using the Balloons style of send and receiving any type of messages as well.
Changing the Font would involved editing the Balloon.transcript file.

No. Tiger is an obsolete and unsupported OS at this point. If there were any updates you would find them using Software Update.

  • Is there any way to change the settings for the built in isight camera?

I'm sure someone else has probably already asked this, but is there any way to change the settings for the built in isight camera? The resolution is horrible.

    Welcome to  Discussions, Prissymissysays
The last Apple-published resolution data I saw said that iSight's resolution is 640x480 VGA. I do not know of any way to change iSight's resolution, but that level is plenty of quality for my webcam needs.
The software you use to operate your iSight controls it, so specific answers will depend on what software you are using when you need more resolution. Check Help in that application to see if it can change iSight's resolution.
Some software, such as Apple's QuickTime 7 Pro allow you to change iSight's video quality and compression level with its QuickTime Player > Preferences > Recording > Quality: setting. You can add iGlasses software to manually override some iSight settings that are otherwise controlled automatically by the software using iSight. However, I do not think either of these options really changes iSight's resolution.
Check whether your iSight's lens cover has fingerprints or smudges on it. Then check iSight's image quality of your face in full sunlight about two feet from the lens. Best image quality requires more light than what most people would consider normal room lighting.
If you are still having problems, consider the applicable suggestions from How to Troubleshoot iSight.
If you need better resolution than iSight can deliver for some special imaging requirement such as close-up or high-accuracy images, you may need to consider using a different camera that better meets your special needs.

  • Is there any form of system cleanup  for mac air

is there any form of system cleanup for mac air

    How to maintain a Mac
    1. Make redundant backups, keeping at least one off site at all times. One backup is not enough. Don’t back up your backups; make them independent of each other. Don’t rely completely on any single backup method, such as Time Machine. If you get an indication that a backup has failed, don't ignore it.
    2. Keep your software up to date. In the Software Update preference pane, you can configure automatic notifications of updates to OS X and other Mac App Store products. Some third-party applications from other sources have a similar feature, if you don’t mind letting them phone home. Otherwise you have to check yourself on a regular basis. This is especially important for complex software that modifies the operating system, such as device drivers. Before installing any Apple update, you must check that all such modifications that you use are compatible.
    3. Don't install crapware, such as “themes,” "haxies," “add-ons,” “toolbars,” “enhancers," “optimizers,” “accelerators,” "boosters," “extenders,” “cleaners,” "doctors," "tune-ups," “defragmenters,” “firewalls,” "barriers," “guardians,” “defenders,” “protectors,” most “plugins,” commercial "virus scanners,” "disk tools," or "utilities." With very few exceptions, this stuff is useless, or worse than useless. Above all, avoid any software that purports to change the look and feel of the user interface.
The more actively promoted the product, the more likely it is to be garbage. The most extreme example is the “MacKeeper” scam.
As a rule, the only software you should install is that which directly enables you to do the things you use a computer for — such as creating, communicating, and playing — and does not modify the way other software works. Use your computer; don't fuss with it.
Safari extensions, and perhaps the equivalent for other web browsers, are a partial exception to the above rule. Most are safe, and they're easy to get rid of if they don't work. Some may cause the browser to crash or otherwise malfunction.  Some are malicious. Use with caution, and install only well-known extensions from relatively trustworthy sources, such as the Safari Extensions Gallery.
Never install any third-party software unless you know how to uninstall it. Otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
    4. Beware of trojans. A trojan is malicious software (“malware”) that the user is duped into installing voluntarily. Such attacks were rare on the Mac platform until sometime in 2011, but are now increasingly common, and increasingly dangerous.
There is some built-in protection against downloading malware, but you can’t rely on it — the attackers are always at least one day ahead of the defense. You can’t rely on third-party protection either. What you can rely on is common-sense awareness — not paranoia, which only makes you more vulnerable.
Never install software from an untrustworthy or unknown source. If in doubt, do some research. Any website that prompts you to install a “codec” or “plugin” that comes from the same site, or an unknown site, is untrustworthy. Software with a corporate brand, such as Adobe Flash Player, must be acquired directly from the developer. No intermediary is acceptable, and don’t trust links unless you know how to parse them. Any file that is automatically downloaded from a web page without your having requested it should go straight into the Trash. A website that claims you have a “virus,” or that anything else is wrong with your computer, is rogue.
In OS X 10.7.5 or later, downloaded applications and Installer packages that have not been digitally signed by a developer registered with Apple are blocked from loading by default. The block can be overridden, but think carefully before you do so.
Because of recurring security issues in Java, it’s best to disable it in your web browsers, if it’s installed. Few websites have Java content nowadays, so you won’t be missing much. This action is mandatory if you’re running any version of OS X older than 10.6.8 with the latest Java update. Note: Java has nothing to do with JavaScript, despite the similar names. Don't install Java unless you're sure you need it. Most people don't.
    5. Don't fill up your boot volume. A common mistake is adding more and more large files to your home folder until you start to get warnings that you're out of space, which may be followed in short order by a boot failure. This is more prone to happen on the newer Macs that come with an internal SSD instead of the traditional hard drive. The drive can be very nearly full before you become aware of the problem. While it's not true that you should or must keep any particular percentage of space free, you should monitor your storage consumption and make sure you're not in immediate danger of using it up. According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB of free space on the startup volume for normal operation.
If storage space is running low, use a tool such as the free application OmniDiskSweeper to explore your volume and find out what's taking up the most space. Move rarely-used large files to secondary storage.
    6. Relax, don’t do it. Besides the above, no routine maintenance is necessary or beneficial for the vast majority of users; specifically not “cleaning caches,” “zapping the PRAM,” "resetting the SMC," “rebuilding the directory,” "defragmenting the drive," “running periodic scripts,” “dumping logs,” "deleting temp files," “scanning for viruses,” "purging memory," "checking for bad blocks," "testing the hardware," or “repairing permissions.” Such measures are either completely pointless or are useful only for solving problems, not for prevention.
The very height of futility is running an expensive third-party application called “Disk Warrior” when nothing is wrong, or even when something is wrong and you have backups, which you must have. Disk Warrior is a data-salvage tool, not a maintenance tool, and you will never need it if your backups are adequate. Don’t waste money on it or anything like it.

  • Change Logs for TCODE -- FILE

    Hi Friends,
Please help me in finding the change logs  for the TCODE  FILE,
i.e  The changes made to the Logical paths
I had tried  Utilities---->change logs , but unfortunately i cannot find any changes logs
But there are changes made to the logical paths in my system but i cannot see them in change logs
    thanks

rec/client is a profile parameter, you can view the settings in transaction RZ10.  However I find program RSPARAM more useful, the report lists all system parameters with their default and altered value.  Also if you double-click on a parameter you can get to the full help text for its meaning.
The parameter essentially switches on table change logging for configuration tables (based on the technical settings of the table) and has to be set before the changes are made.
    Hope this helps.

  • What is the impact - Activating Change Logs for Material Classification Dta

To activate Change Logs for Material Classification Data I must first set the flag for "Multiple Objs Allowed" for the Class Type 001 Material Class. I am curious of what the impact of setting this flag will be. Also, is there a way to measure the DASD impact of activating the Change logging for this data.
    Thankyou
    Kevin

In addition to the performance impact the process of turning on Change Logs for Classification data will convert the tables KSSK and AUSP to use an internal SAP number as a key instead of the Material number. This will cause problems for any custom programs that access those files directly and expect the material number to be the key. This file conversion occurs during the execution of program RCCLUKA2 which is used to Flag the change logs for existing records. This can be reversed by running report RMCLINOB. Because of the above impact we decided here to NOT implement this change in production.

  • Change logs for Z table.

    Hi All,
I am trying  to fetch the old value and new value for the z table field.Change log is activated for the Z table. but i dont know how to fetch the change logs.
SCU3 is the standard transaction to see the change logs for all the tables.
Is there any table where the change logs values are maintained?
Does anyone know how to get the change log value?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Amruta.

    Hello,
If for a specific set of tables no change documents are triggered by SAP you can always setup your own Change Document Object with transaction SCDO.
Of course you need to be careful with this transactions (how big is the table data, how many changes, etc...).
Table logging is something else, they are stored in table DBTABLOG and can be analysed via SCU3.
For table logging you need extra system parameters to be set, they are explained in SAP Note:
Note 1916 - Logging table changes in R/3
Pay attention with table logging because a lot of tables are logged in DBTABLOG once you activate the parameter, this can have a major impact on performance.
To have an idea what other tables will be logged, check tcode SE16 on table DD09L and put an 'X' in field PROTOKOLL, result will be thousands of tables.
In your specific scenario I think it is best you go for the change documents with SCDO.

  • Change Logs for customer master data in 3.1 H version

    Hello All
Are they any existing reports or change logs for viewing changes to customer master data in 3.1h version.  I want to be able to report based on changes made to customer master.
I know there is a good report in 6.0 version for this- S_ALR_87012182.
If I have to develop a custom program for this in 3.1h. Which table I should use? KNA1 or CDPOS.
    Any ideas will be appreciated.
    Hema.

    Hi,
Please check the filter settings maintained for the adapter object CUSTOMER in R3AC1. The same filter settings can be referred in tables Table: CRMFILTAB (R/3) and SMOFFILTAB(CRM) as per srinivas's reply.
Check the sales area of the customer maintained (Sales Area, Division, Distribution Channel etc.) and see if the current filter settings are restricting the customer from getting replicated in CRM. If everything is maintained fine then check for any failure Bdocs in SMW01 or SMW02.
