Is there any support for my iphone 3g?

my iphone 3g is broken for a months ago and is there any doubts for me to send it to apple for fixing?

Apple does not repair phones, they replace them. If the phone is under warranty and has a defect, they would replace it for free, however with a 3G, being out of warranty, the out of warranty replacement is $149/US. It may be a better idea and cheaper for you to Google a 3rd party repair service in your area that would probably do it a lot cheaper. The advantage to the Apple out of warranty replacement is that it will have a 90 day warranty on it.

s there any problem for my iphone's battery to keep my charger connecting for few hours after the battery is full?
Sometimes i sleep and the my iphone is charging and of course the battery became full after two or three hours, and definitely i will not wake up in the midnight to just disconnect the charger, please i need your help.

This is considered normal use. I think everybody does this, including myself. It's not something to worry about in the least bit.
Just remember to complete a full charge cycle (allow the phone's battery to discharge to 10%-20%, then charge uninterruped to 100%) once a month and you'll be fine.

Probably not. First of all, 48 hours is not enough. 5-7 days is better. Secondly, if you did not turn it off the very instant you retrieved it, it probably did worse damage. Even if it powers on, it's very unlikely it will function 100%.

  • Is there any support for green screen

    I have a few questions
-is there any support for green screen?
-seems like none of the effects can be adjusted like in FCP 7?
-the audio editing is very limited compared to FCP7?
    seems sooooo much is missing!
Do you think there is a chance apple will offer a refund?

Sorry to be annoying, but all of these things have been discussed in other threads here!

  • Is there any support for JDBC

    Hey All,
I've started working JDBC since few days and already had early hiccups !!!
I installed Oracle * into my PC and wrote a simple code to connect to the database unfortunately it didn't connect
Now I am not sure whether there is any support for JDBC in Oracle 8 or not
I wonder how can I make sure that my Oracle 8 installed supports JDBC or not
I use Oracle 8 , jdk1.4, and Winxp as my OS
    Messy

Oracle supports JDBC at least as far back as 8.1.something; the Oracle JDBC driver is built on a private protocol that existed in at least 8.0, so I'd expect all 8x versions to support JDBC, more or less.

However, you may want to consider using a newer version of the Oracle database; you can download the latest, and a single-user-for-development-only license is free.

  • Is there any support for Coursebuilder?

Does Adobe provide any support or updates for the
    Coursebuilder extension?
    Thanks.

Adobe doesn't own the Coursebuilder extension. When
    Macromedia was
acquired, Macromedia sold Coursebuilder to Rapid Intake. They
    produced a
Version 8 extension, but the last time I asked them, they
    were still working
    on the CS3 version.
They have forums .. and I think there is one for this.

  • Is there any hope for my iPhone 4? - Please help!

Okay long story short, I was at work listening to music and dropped my phone in a sink full of water, but pulled it out within a fraction of a second. I noticed right away the music stopped playing, and the light on the back flashed on. after a few minutes of drying it and shaking it, I tried turning it on, the apple logo flashed on and off a few times but then it just stopped and wouldn't turn on. So when I got home I put it in a tupperwear container full of rice, and left it overnight. in the morning I checked it and it still wouldn't turn on... so after work today (I put in new rice and left it) I took it out, and plugged it into the wall charger adapter I have, and bingo, it turned on! Well... sort of... the battery % is normal, although it can't find it's 3G signal, or my house's wifi. it says to connect to iTunes, and when I try to unlock it takes me to the emergency call feature. there's also a small icon of an 'i' in a circle, when i tap it it says "CCID unknown" or something like that. so I took it off the wall charger and it died instantly, even though the battery was nearly full. it wouldn't turn on now, so I plugged it into my computer, and it still wouldnt turn on, so I tried the wall charger and it worked, but with the same problem as before. I've tried different computers, and outputs and it seems it only works when I use the wall charger adapter, my computer just won't recognize it anymore. I'm thinking there's a problem with the battery, hopefully just some moisture that can be taken out with more rice and waiting... When it goes to the emergency call, and has the number pad, in the background it shows my old picture that I took that was set to be the lock screen picture, so I think that the SD card or whatever the iPhone uses is fine, it's just the battery. Will I have to get it replaced, and if I do, I'm on a 3 year contract and I'm only in about 1 year, will I have to pay the flat $900 to get the new phone without a contract again, or could they replace it with a refurbished one for $159 like the first one? - and if so, could I actually swap it for the white iPhone? I just don't want to leave it in rice for 2 weeks to find that nothing has changed, the suspense is killing me! haha, thanks so much for reading please, leave any ideas on what to do... also one more thing..
-I live in Canada, and there aren't any Apple stores near me, I'm actually not even sure if they have them in Canada, but I was wanting to get a macbook, would I have to order it online, or could I get it at a store where other Apple products are stored, such as the Source or Future Shop? Thanks again!

Ok, what you have here is a basic 'blown fuse' problem.
With the iPhone 3G and 3GS if you drop them in water and they stop working you can almost always revive the phone simply by oepning them up, finding the corrosion on the motherboard then cleaning it and putting it back together.
With the iPhone 4 (and 4S) it's a different story though in that water damage causes a fuse on the motherboard to blow. Once blown, the phones can no longer receive power from the battery. They can however receive power from a wall charger, which is why your phone runs whilst plugged into a charger but dies as soon as it's disconnected. Trying to run it from a USB port wont work either as the 5V power supply gets interupted whilst the phone is booting, as such it dies part way through booting, and the cycle repeats.
At this stage you have 3 options:
-have the phone replaced by Apple, or
-replace the damaged fuse on the iPhone motherboard yourself, or
-send the phone to a company to have the fuse repaired
There is a company that sells the replacement components, and  they have an installation sevice too. I've fixed a couple of iPhones in my day, and unless you are very proficent with a soldering iron I strongly recommend having the repair done for you.
    See the link below:

Sorry it's not good news, but at least you know what's going on with the phone now and can weigh up your options.

  • Is there any hope for an iPhone 4s that cannot access WiFi after iOS 8.1 ?

I bought a "very good" used unlocked 4s on eBay back on Oct 2 ... it arrived with iOS 8 installed ... AT&T folks told me not to load that SW when I went in to move my SIM from an Android phone to the iPhone ... when the saw it was already loaded they were amazed that it would even start up ... but it seemed fine until I got home and tried to set-up my WiFi ... all kinds of problems ...  which led to upgrade to 8.01 and then to 8.02 ... all the while hoping to see some fixes ... but things went from not so good to terribly bad ... Bluetooth was off .. and the option to start it was greyed out ( but the little rotating gear continues to run constantly - can't stop that ) ... similarly the WiFi option was off and and was likewise greyed out and inaccessible ... then messaging was no longer accessible ... and to top it all off the phone now discharges in 2-3 hours ... even when powered off ... kind of scary ... but on Mon the 20th I was able to download iOS 8.1 to my Windows XP iTunes (took almost 6 GB to do that - downloads a huge file and then has to extract it, before installing it -- and instead of getting rid of the mess it makes, it puts the no longer needed files in the recycle bin taking up more space -- took me 6 hours to get thru all of that .... and all for naught ... still nothing works ... tried resetting networking ... resetting everything ... useless ... even drove 10 miles to a Starbucks to get a different WiFi ... but nothing works.

    You should try these steps:
iOS: Wi-Fi settings grayed out or dim
    Symptoms
In rare instances, the setting to turn on Wi-Fi on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch may appear grayed out or dim. You might see the following when you tap Settings > Wi-Fi.
If this occurs, your device won't respond when you try to turn Wi-Fi on. If you're using iOS 7.1, "Wi-Fi Not Available" might appear in Control Center.
    Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
    Restart your iOS device.
Make sure that airplane mode is off by tapping Settings > Airplane Mode.
Reset the network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
This will reset all network settings, including Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN, and APN settings.
Make sure that your device is using the latest software. To do so, connect your device to your computer and check for updates in iTunes.
If you still can't turn Wi-Fi on, please  contact Apple for support and service options. If you can turn Wi-Fi on but are experiencing other issues with Wi-Fi, see  how to resolve those Wi-Fi issues.

  • Is there any support for Canon 7D s-raw in Aperture 2?

I'm using PowerBook G4, and I start to use Aperture 2. Aperture 2 supports the raw files, but does not support s-raw and m-raw. Can it be solved?

You could try the free Adobe DNG converter (Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Macintosh), if it can convert your D600 raws. Aperture usually works with DNG files created by DNG converter, if the  “Convert to Linear Image” optionis  turned off.

  • HT1688 Is there any hope for my Iphone 4 after being dropped in the toilet on Christmas

After getting my phone out of the toliet and drying it off..it appeared to be ok...three hours later, I tried to use it and it was off. I put it in rice immediately a few days later it hasn't made a difference. Yesterday, I bought a bag that is for cell emeregencies such as this, and this hasn't helped either. I haven't had a phone for four days...is it time to give up and try to find a new one or hope the drying bag helps? I don't want a new phone, I want to keep this one and hope I can revive it. I dont have insurance therefore, I am scared I will need to purchase a  new phone.

I doubt that drying is the issue any longer. You can try putting it on a wall charger, let it charge for at least a half hour and then try to Reset it (hold down the power and home buttons, wait for the Apple logo, let go of the buttons) while it is still connected to power. It may take several tries. If it is working let it fully charge.

  • Is there any support for animated textures?

I want to apply an animated texture of some kind to my model. Has anyone tried this and had any luck? Is this even supported?
    -Thanks!

If a texture doesn't already exist on the model, then you will have to go back to the original authoring application. If the texture doesn't already exist, when you attempt to apply one to the model, it will only fill up the first pixel at the initial UV coordinate, then repeat that pixel across the part.

  • Is there any support for data transfer compression in oracle XE?

    Hi
Thank you for reading my post.
I am wondering whether it is possible to ask database and JDBC driver to use some sort of compression for data transfer?
I want to reduce the network workload as much as possible.
    Thanks

    AFAIK, Not directly from Oracle.

  • Is there any hope for us here?

I live in the Caribbean (Dominican Republic). I see the iPhone getting released in a lot of big countries, but I don't see Apple releasing the iPhone in other countries like mine.
I have seen iPhones activated here, but as you know they are being ilegaly activated with the hacking options available, and with every new update the hacks get frustrated.
Is there any hope for the iPhone being released in countries like mine here in the caribbean? What chances do you see for us here? Are we destined to live without the iPhone or with an hacked-outdated iPhone?

The best thing to do is keep watching for announcements from Apple on when the iPhone will be coming to the Dominican Republic, since this is a user to user forum no one would be able to give you an answer.
