Is there any third party app to recover a lost backup password for an iPhone on mac?

I accidentally restored my iPhone 4 to factory settings after a problem in the music app. I do have a backup but it is encrypted and I do not know the password. All password retrieving apps I've found are not supported by mac. Can someone point me to one that does work? Preferably a free one? Thanks!

Remove "MacKeeper" as follows. First, back up all data.
"MacKeeper" is a scam with only one useful feature: it deletes itself.
Note: These instructions apply to the version of the product that I downloaded and tested in early 2012. I can't be sure that they apply to other versions.
If you have incompletely removed MacKeeper—for example, by dragging the application to the Trash and emptying—then you'll have to reinstall it and start over.
IMPORTANT: "MacKeeper" has what the developer calls an “encryption” feature. In my tests, I didn't try to verify what this feature really does. If you used it to “encrypt” any of your files, “decrypt” them before you uninstall, or (preferably) restore the files from backups made before they were “encrypted.” As the developer is not trustworthy, you should assume that the "decrypted" files are corrupt unless proven otherwise.
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Applications
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-A. The "MacKeeper" application is in the folder that opens. Quit it if it's running, then drag it to the Trash. You'll be prompted for your login password. Click the Uninstall MacKeeper button in the dialog that appears. All the functional components of the software will be deleted. Restart the computer.
Quit MacKeeper before dragging it to the Trash.
Don't empty the Trash. Let MacKeeper delete itself.
Don't try to drag the MacKeeper Dock icon to the Trash.

You can install any Apps you want from Any sources. You may get a one time message that the App is from an unidentified developer, but just click ok, and you won't get the message again

edit: There is one shareware that is an iTunes plugin called Multi-tunes. With it you can create multiple iTunes libraries, one library called "Main" one called "Bootlegs" etc, and Multi-Tunes will allow you to quickly switch between them from within the iTunes window. Not exactly what your looking for but close.

sure pretty simple. make a backup of your current settings

then import pics to computer

ICal Functionality - Any third party app?

Hi, I am a Productivity Consultant. I come from working on the PC environment, mainly in Outlook. As I have set-up my work environment in the Mac, I like iCal, yet I miss some funtionality, and I was wondering if perhaps there are third party applications that might add these functionality that I am looking for on top of iCal.
What else would I like to have in the iCal Interface?
(1) Some sort of way to add category support. Even though I use the calendars for this, I would appreciate to have a category field to double categorize some To Dos (I use the calendar to assign the context where the task will take place - i.e. 'Errands' and the Category Field would be use to groups Tasks by Objectives | Projects - i.e. everything that has to do with Project X).
(2) Additional views that will allow me to perhaps group tasks by category, displays tasks for a certain period of time, etc.

Welcome to iCal. One of the problems with iCal is it's limited functionality. From my view isn't really intended to be a high end time management; it is pretty simple. Of course the major advantage of iCal is it's cost (i.e. it's free).
The category paradigm in iCal is limited to the calendar an event or task belongs to. There is no way to assign multiple categories to events or tasks, as you have noticed, and I don't know of any plugs-in, extensions, etc. that add this functionality. Here is an idea to get a similar result. You can place these category names in the notes field for calendar items. You can search on these name and iCal will bring up a list of items that have this "category" in their notes field. Further, you can have it only search events or tasks (to dos). This is not an elegant solution, but it would work.
Again, viewing tasks is limited, but if you click header for the task list you will see different ways to view and sort tasks.
If your clients are interested in more feature rich time management solutions, I suggest you look into Now Up-To-Date and Contact ( http://www.nowsoftware.com/ ) or Entourage. Entourage comes with MS Office and does email, contact, and time management all in one. I guess it is the Mac version of Outlook. I have used Entourage in the past and been happy with it. Both of these applications support sync with Palm devices.

If you wish to merely transfer files, one idea could be to have one ftp or web server on each machine, and then use appropriate clients (ftp programs or web browsers).
TCP/IP software is available under System 7.5.5. The 8100/100 can use standard RJ-45 Ethernet cabling via a suitable adapter for AAUI-15 (such as the Apple Ethernet Twisted-Pair Transceiver M0437).
For the Mac, the now free program NetPresenz could perhaps be of interest as a server solution.

Any third party apps to highlight words on Mac as they're read by the built in Text-to-Speech?

Hello everyone,
I want to use my Mac to it's full potential! And I believe this is the community that can help. Is there a way for my mac to highlight the words which are read by the built in text-to-speech voices?
I really love the VoiceDream application for the iPad, and I'm looking for an equivalent or isotope of similar features on the Mac.
The answers to this question can benefit:
1.) People who have trouble reading without voice-over.
2.) Foreign language learners who want to follow along as the text is being read.
3.) People who have difficulty focusing while they read.
If you know of any amalgamation of solutions to this problem, I will really appreciate it! I am currently experimenting with using text-to speech as a way to read my textbooks for better comprehension and to remember more information. I really don't want to move to the VoiceDream app because everything is centralized on my Mac, and I like the variety of voices already available for free on the Mac.
I recently got my MacBook Air mid-2014 Model with OSX 10.9.4 installed, so this is what I'm working with.
As a last resort, if there is a solution that will work on a Windows computer, I can install Parallel Desktop to take advantage of an application if it has a comprehensive solution that would make it worth it to install that platform.
The perfect solution would really be if there was a Mac version of VoiceDream Reader, but seeing as there isn't, I would love to find out how I can make due with what is out there, or maybe even petition some software developers to create a solution to this problem that would enhance the study-toolbox of students and life-long learners.

Do we have any third party FLEX component libraries to support accessibility feature for all the components(like: ViewStack, ToggleButtonBar, charts and etc..) ?

I am working on FLEX 4.6 SDK it provides 35 components with built in accessibility support. My Application contains some components which have no built in accessibility support but I need to provide accessibility support for those components too. I have gone through the Flex docs to customize the non accessible components to support accessibility feature, But the docs where not clear. To customize a single component I have to overwrite lot of code in SDK level.
and it takes lot of effort.
So, I would like to use FLEX component libraries which provides accessibility support for all the component.
Could you please guide me how can I provide accessibility support for other components with out putting more effort on it.

If you forgot your passcode, restore the phone from backup on the last computer it was synced with... this will remove the passcode. If you do not have access to the last computer it was synced with, you will have to force it into recovery mode & restore as a new device.
