Is there any way I can import Illustrator files in Photoshop touch?
I have downloaded PS touch to my tablet to manage images on the go, how ever al my work is done on illustrator and I heven't been able to import files from it, it appears it's only functunional with images. i was wondering if there is any plug-in that could allow me to import ai. files. thanks you all
PS Touch only works with raster images (like PNG or JPEG as well as its own native PSDX and PSD). No AI file support that I know of is in the pipeline. Could change, though.

I just want to see if there is any way that I can import the files into iMovie as an alias like Final Cut Pro and Express does. I hate having to copy the file again because it takes up alot of space on my Mac. Thanks.
No, but you can import your Event to an external drive from the import screen.
It is also possible to create a symbolic link to another location. The link stays in your iMovie Events or iMovie Project folder, but the actual file resides somewhere else. I don't do it this way, so I can't share any details. -
Is there any way I can edit .mxf files using Premiere Elements 12?

My camera records as .mxf files and my copy of Adobe Premiere Elements 12 tells me that it does not support this file type. Is there any way I could edit these clips? I've done some google searching I would personally rather not have to download a converter because I really don't trust many programs and I don't have the money to pay for one.KendallJones
Premiere Elements (any version) does not support files with the file extension .mxf.
You will need to convert them to a format which your version of Premiere Elements supports.

If you set up the Find My iPod service prior to the iPod going missing - the app is for tracking an iOS device from another iOS device - then there is a chance that can be tracked, though it depends on a number of factors (the iPod is turned on, connected to a WiFi network, and has not had the Find My iPod service disabled). Log into icloud.com and go to the Find My iPhone section. Note, though, that you'll only get the location of the WiFi router to which the iPod is connected; there's no way to pinpoint the exact location of the iPod itself.
If you did not set up Find My iPod, then there is no way to track it. Notify the police and change any passwords for any online accounts you may have used from your iPod (the iTunes Store, for instance).

Is there any way I can view / remove pictures from Camera Roll on the iPhone, on a Mac, without actually importing the files? I just want to view / delete files without importing them.
For instance I have 1200 photos on my iPhone Camera Roll. Some of these are shots, that I've taken multiple times, some good, some bad. I just want to clean up my Camera Roll, but going through the pictures on the iPhone's small screen is tedious. I'd much rather look at the camera roll's photo's on my Mac, and then decide which files I'd like to keep, and which to delete.
I don't want to import the files, as when I import the files, and delete them from Camera Roll, now the Photo's are not on my phone, and the only way to get them back on my Phone is to Import them back in using iTunes, and then they go into the Picture Library and not the Camera Roll.
In the same way as I can view Pics from my digital camera's SD card on a Mac without having to actually copy them to my computer, is there any app out there that will let me view my iPhone pics without importing them.gsharp01 wrote:

The short answer is yes.
Connect your iPhone to your computer.
Open Image Capture application.
Click on the 4 little squares at bottom to view them as photos, not a list.
Select the photos them click the No Entry icon at bottom to delete. -
I have updated my mac from snow leopard to mountain lion 3 days back. I had some important data in my library folder and it got overwritten. Is there any way i can get the data back from my snow leopard library folder?
I tried mackeeper to recover files but it could not. Any other way any one has tried to recover a system library folder after OS upgrade?No, it doesn't store a clone. You would have needed to make one with either SuperDuper or CarbonCopy Cloner.
If the files were in your ~/Library folder then they may still be there. As I said, you can access it by
going to your Finder "Go" menu hold the option key to choose "Library". I wouldn't think an upgrade would overwrite anything in ~/Library.
If you have a Time Machine backup you may also be able to use that to retrieve them. -

I've recently messed up my Mac OS X Lion by deleting Aperture, but I need to get my data out of the computer. I've tried to repair it using DU, but it said I needed to backup all my data and reinstall the OS. How do I backup my data to an external drive?
And by the way, I've got an important project in Final Cut Pro X. Is there any way I can back it up (including fxs and positions of the clip) ?
Hope you guys can help me!You need to back up 2 folders, Final Cut Events and Final Cut Projects which by default are located on your Movies Folder. You can always check by clicking on a clip inside Fianl Cut X and selecting Show in Finder in the contextual menu for the selected clip.

I edit my RAW photos in Photoschop CS3, save as jpeg then import back into iPhoto 11. If I add text in Photoshop I can't save as jpeg but as psd. Is there any way I can change to jpeg in iPhoto?

I just tried this in Photoshop CS3 myself. When I add a text layer, and choose Save, the Save As dialog box comes up and defaults to PSD as was described. But... that is just the default! Go ahead and choose JPEG from the Format pop-up menu down below the file list. JPEG is in there. So what happens to the layers? Notice when you choose JPEG, the Layers box grays out and the "As A Copy" box grays out and is checked (i.e. you cannot uncheck it). What is going on here is Photoshop will gladly make a JPEG of your layered file, but it will force the JPEG to be a copy, so as to not overwrite the original layered file. This is good, because your Photoshop file with its editable text layer is preserved, and you get a JPEG copy to put in iPhoto.
The second way is, instead of doing Save or Save As, choose File/Save for Web and Devices. This will also give you a JPEG choice, and also create an exported copy. Because this way makes files for the Web, they will be smaller than JPEGs from Save As because they will lack built-in previews (which you don't really need these days) and other extra metadata that take up space.
Either way you get a JPEG you can toss back into iPhoto.

I connected a digital camera memory chip with approximately 100 photos on it to import into iPhoto. The photos showed up in iPhoto. I believe I deleted the photos from the memory chip before importing them to iPhoto. Is there any way I can get the photos back?

After upgrading to OS Mavericks, I realized that the Partition for Windows is gone. I have really important data on this drive without a back up. Is there any way I can get this data before reformatting. Is there any third party software for receiving the data or any possible way? Money is not a limitation to this fix. Please help!!!

I accidentally uninstalled the Illustrator CC from my mac. Now I can't re-download the application. Everytime I click "Download", it takes me to the creative cloud app and only shows me the app is up to date. Is there any way I can re-download and reinstall Illustrator CC?
