Unfortunately, no. FaceTime is only available over wi-fi. I do know that services like Skype and Tango allow you to videochat over 3G and wi-fi.

So by dual-signal, are you referring to 2.5Ghz/5Ghz signal?
I'm pretty sure my Mac mini 2011 has that but for whatever reason I cannot send via AirDrop to the mini. The mini can see other computers like my 2010 MacBook Pro and send files to it, but not in reverse. The MBP is unable to see or send to the mini unless the mini has engaged it to send a file to MBP. Even then it's temporary and the mini will disappear from the MBP's AirDrop radar upon completing the delivery of its file.
So I'm a bit perplexed on how the Mac mini has AirDrop, can see other AirDrop computers and send files to them, but cannot be seen on other Macs to reciprocate.

Yes, you can copy songs that you ripped from a CD to your Home Sharing computer.
Turn on Home Sharing first on both computers. To do that, go to File > Home Sharing > Turn on Home Sharing. Enter your Apple ID and password.
Now go to your computer that you want to copy the songs to and connect to your Home Share. You can do that by clicking on the popover button located at the left top corner right below the play control buttons. Click on it and scroll to the bottom until you see your Home Share and select it.
Go to Music in your Home Share. Select the songs that you want to copy in your Home Share and click Import at the bottom right corner.

I am afraid I will lose content if I plug in to my laptop. I have aquired a used iPod Classic and want to keep some of the content on my external drive to merge with my existing account. I don't know of any way to have ASE automatically log that to the errorlog.
If this is a general ongoing requirement, I'd recommend using the auditing features.
To show it historically, the transaction log in the master database can provide proof (assuming you weren't using a shared login).   When you drop a database, ASE logs a BEGINXACT log record that has a transaction name of $dbdestroy <databasename>. The record also contains the suid of the user and a datetimestamp.

The final 0 is the filter for BEGINXACT record types, which has an op code of 0.

HT2497 Airport is not recognizing my wireless network because my wireless network has the same name as another apartment in my builing. I cannot change the name because my room mate controls it, is there any way I can make it find my wireless network?

It used to be that the other apartment with the same name didn't have theirs password protected so even though only one or the other would show up, I could always get onto one. Now, they have password protected theirs and it seems to be that 100% of the time only theirs shows up which I only can tell because it says "invalid password" when I try to connect to the Internet.
I have asked my room mate to just change the name of the network but she is really slow to do anything about it and I need to be able to get the internet at home and the internet is in her and set up through her computer so I really don't have any way of being the one to just go in and fix it myself.
Is there any other way to make Airport recognize that there are two different networks with the same way so it will find mine? I feel like I have tried everything including mannually typing in the name of my network and typing my password and it still just says "invalid password." I have also double checked that I was typing in the correct password and I am. My room mate is not having any problems accessing the Internet so I know the problem is not with our connection (she also has a Mac, almost the same model as me, I have a MacBook Pro purchased in 2011). I am also able to connect to the Internet on my Mac at coffee shops and the library so I know that the problem is not my computer or my wireless connection so I'm pretty sure it is just that Airport is somehow only recognizing one of the two "WLAN" networks

Hi - you can do what you want to do with AirPlay from your iPhone - but unfortunately it is not as easy as the people in the Apple store told you - your first problem is that you have a non Apple router - you cannot extend a non Apple router wirelessly with the Express - you can only join the network and connect an ethernet device to it - you can however connect via ethernet and have it create a wireless network of its' own - you can set this up from your iPhone or the XP - but this is a complicated setup and would involve many different discussion areas of this forum - therefore I would suggest that you use your 90 days of support and consult directly with Apple to do this - go to this link - http://www.apple.com/support/contact/

This computer works perfectly fine and I see no reason to spend another $3000 dollars on a new mac when I spent $3000 on this computer. There has to be some way to trick the computer to run it. I was hoping there was a way to fake out itunes programing more so than having to update to 10.5 . I do a lot of web developing and if the 10.5 boot doesn't work I am afraid of losing everything and I do not have the capital to drop down on new programs and such. The other hold up is I don't want to pay 129$ for apples 10.5 DVD. I still think it's bs that they can't just write the program to run on these older operating systems and have a (run at your own risk) disclosure. The other option is to continue to use the computer for what I do and not worry about Itunes and get rid of this stupid iphone nd never buy apple products again. Sounds like a better solution in the long run.
