Is there any way I can merge two accounts on my macbook?

I have two accounts on my macbook (version 10.6.8), one that i created when i got the laptop and one i created a few years after because i couldn't remember my old password(which i know now). Is there any way to merge the two accounts into one? (itunes, iphoto, apps, etc.)

Office for Mac or Office 365. I use it on my Mac and although not as polished or feature rich as the Windows version, serves my purpose perfectly. I just upgraded my MacBook from OS X 10.6.8 to Mountain Lion so that I could stream from my other devices (iPhone and iPad) to my MacBook. After making it through the upgrade process, I realized that I used the wrong email address for my iCloud username when starting up on the MacBook. To change accounts on your Mac, go to System Preferences, sign out of the current account, then sign into the new account. When you sign out of the current account it will delete synced data from your Mac. Assuming your data (such as contacts, calendars, etc.) is in the other iCloud account, it will be synced to your Mac when you sign into this account.

I believe you can accomplish this by setting up separate user profiles for each of you on your Mac (System Preferences>Users & Groups (click the lock symbol if locked and provide the administrator name and password, then click the "+"). That should allow you to sign into separate iCloud accounts and maintain separate iTunes libraries within your respective user accounts.

It is also worth checking under Edit > Preferences > Advanced to see where iTunes thinks your media is supposed to go. sure pretty simple. make a backup of your current settings

then restore device from old backup you need pics off of
then import pics to computer

you may need to save pics to camera roll first
then restore the new backup and sync pics back to phone via itunes

hi, the app is not "shared", it works as if you bought the app twice with different accounts, only you paid it once. they should have 2 different villages since they're on 2 different devices.

Check to see if they are on your calendar on icloud.com. If they aren't, all you can do is try to restore to your last backup, although it isn't clear that calendar events are included in the iCloud backup.

I just tried this in Photoshop CS3 myself. When I add a text layer, and choose Save, the Save As dialog box comes up and defaults to PSD as was described. But... that is just the default! Go ahead and choose JPEG from the Format pop-up menu down below the file list. JPEG is in there. So what happens to the layers? Notice when you choose JPEG, the Layers box grays out and the "As A Copy" box grays out and is checked (i.e. you cannot uncheck it). What is going on here is Photoshop will gladly make a JPEG of your layered file, but it will force the JPEG to be a copy, so as to not overwrite the original layered file. This is good, because your Photoshop file with its editable text layer is preserved, and you get a JPEG copy to put in iPhoto.
The second way is, instead of doing Save or Save As, choose File/Save for Web and Devices. This will also give you a JPEG choice, and also create an exported copy. Because this way makes files for the Web, they will be smaller than JPEGs from Save As because they will lack built-in previews (which you don't really need these days) and other extra metadata that take up space.
Either way you get a JPEG you can toss back into iPhoto.

Is there any way I can see which of many "Reduce Noise" actions is on a particular 'shot' from a video clip in my timeline?
I understand that the entire list of Reduce Noise actions I see are all applied to the entire video clip, except in different areas of the same clip, from which I've extracted various shots. I performed different, specific, Reduce Noise actions all on smaller parts of the clip since some Reduce Noise actions needed to be a bit more tailored than others.
Under "Actions" on the left I have a list of approx 10 ticked Reduce Noise actions. Is there any way, by clicking on a clip, I can tell which of these specific Reduce Noise actions apply to that particular area of a clip.
If anyone can help me out I'd really appreciate it.

You need to explain why it does not work including exact error messages and what version of iphoto the old library is from
the general answer is that you can not view it using iPhoto - you can convert and open it - if the old library is from iphoto '08 (version 7.x.x) ore earlier you need to back it up and ad and run the iPhoto library upgrader - iPhoto '11 or later: About the Library Upgrader - Apple Support - If it is from a newer version or after you run the upgrader then held down the option key while launching iPhoto until the select library window comes up and select the old library from that window to finish the conversion
Repeat the option = launch to switch back to the current library
You can use iPhoto Library Manager - http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/ - to merge the libraries after they all are for the same version if you want
