Is there any way I can monitor how many Gb I download each month?
I'm considering changing broadband package and would like to know how much I download each month. All I can find are ways of estimating based on size of various files, streaming etc. as a multi person household it would be much more useful to know exactly how much I use.
You can only do this over all the PCs in the home if you have a special router that has this facility.
Otherwise you will need to install on every PC a network meter such as:

Our satellite company's Fair Access Policy allows: 425 mb max per 24 hours, but it seems like we often go over that amount by just surfing the internet. We have 2 adults and 3 kids who use Mac computers. Is there a way to view the amount of KB's or MB's used after viewing a page? Thanks.There are a few things you can do to cut down on bandwidth. I set Firefox never to check the cache with pages online, so that if I go back to a previous page, it does not need to download again, but can be pulled out of the cache.
browser.cache.check_doc_frequency - set to 2 (never)
I use Flashblock to prevent Flash items from downloading automatically. If there is any Flash item you want to see, you click the icon over that space, and that one item will load but none of the others on the page will load until you want them to do so.
I use Adblock Plus to block ads. This saves bandwidth as well, since it stops banner ads from being loaded, and blocks popup ads as well. -
Is there any way I can see what individual podcasts are downloading like I used to be able to?
I'm not able to see or control the individual downloads any more. Is there a way to restore this functionality?
Does clicking on 'list' at the top of the Podcasts pane give you want you want?

Not without being able to remotely log in to the computer containing it. An iTunes library is never stored on Apple’s servers.

On iTunes 11, how can I access home sharing if the music is from a CD on a different computer using Home Sharing? Is there any way I can download these songs if (A) I no longer have the CD, or (B) I do not want to pay $25 a year for iTunes Match?
Yes, you can copy songs that you ripped from a CD to your Home Sharing computer.
Turn on Home Sharing first on both computers. To do that, go to File > Home Sharing > Turn on Home Sharing. Enter your Apple ID and password.
Now go to your computer that you want to copy the songs to and connect to your Home Share. You can do that by clicking on the popover button located at the left top corner right below the play control buttons. Click on it and scroll to the bottom until you see your Home Share and select it.
Go to Music in your Home Share. Select the songs that you want to copy in your Home Share and click Import at the bottom right corner. -
I was syncing everything to itunes and I tried to do my contacts, not knowing quite how. I ended up erasing all of them from my phone without any of them syncing to my computer or itunes. Is there any way I can get them back? I really need them all.
There are lots of ideas floating on the web for this particular issue - all of which I tried. I had the same problem and it turned out to be my USB cable. I thought the cable was fine as it would charge my phone and play but the data transfer pin was bent. I replaced the cable and it fixed the problem. Worth a shot as it is an easy fix!

IF you set up find my iphone on the iphone itself AND it is on AND it has not been restore by the thief, then you may be able to track it using icloud.

The only way to locate/disable/erase any lost/stolen iPhone/iPod Touch is through Find My Phone or a similar app. However, this requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated, on your phone, before it was lost/stolen. You would then login at iCloud.com & try to locate it. This requires the phone be turned on & have an Internet connection. There is no other way to locate a lost/stolen iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, nor will your carrier. Report the loss to the Police, your carrier & Insurance company. Change all of your passwords, especially your Apple ID/iCloud password NOW!
If your carrier offers Blacklisting & they Blacklist the phone, it will be unusable as a phone.
If locked with a passcode, and running iOS 7.0, then phone cannot be activated or the passcode removed without knowing your Apple iD/Password. It will be nothing but a useless paperweight.
If not running iOS 7.0, the phone can be forced into recovery mode & restored.

You can simply login to iCloud: https://www.icloud.com and then go to Find My iPhone...but if the iPhone is turned off or restored to factory settings it won't show up.

I just upgraded my MacBook from OS X 10.6.8 to Mountain Lion so that I could stream from my other devices (iPhone and iPad) to my MacBook. After making it through the upgrade process, I realized that I used the wrong email address for my iCloud username when starting up on the MacBook. My iPhone, iPad, and iTunes are under my Hotmail email address and I accidently used my Gmail email address for the MacBook. Is there any way I can merge these two icloud accounts together? I tried changing my account information to add the other email address, but wasn't allowed because another account was using the name (duh). If I can't merge them, how could I change the MacBook from the Gmail address to the Hotmail address so that all my devices are on the same icloud account? It'd be nice if I could keep the free 5GB of storage that comes with my purchase of the software, but I'd rather lose the storage than not be able to stream.
To change accounts on your Mac, go to System Preferences, sign out of the current account, then sign into the new account. When you sign out of the current account it will delete synced data from your Mac. Assuming your data (such as contacts, calendars, etc.) is in the other iCloud account, it will be synced to your Mac when you sign into this account.

I am not very tech oriented - I love my Ipod - had a library of 800- 900 songs - my computer was stolen, I have since bought a new one - started a new library because I could not figure out how to access my old library. Is there any way I can somehow find that original library and add it to my new library??

On the settings I went to iCloud then went to storage and backup and it saus total storage 5.0 gb and avaible storage is 2.7 gb but all of my photos arent there. Then when I click manage storage it says camera roll 2.0 gb is there any way i can get my photos back? please help
If you use the same iCloud ID and before you will get your contact, calendar and notes and other iCloud things back. If your previously has PhotoStream one you will also get back the last 30 days of photos.
It appears you do not use the same iCloud ID.
What do you see for Contacts, Calendar and Notes when you go to icloud.com and sing in with the same ID. You need a computer browser.
