Is there any way of ordering prints from the ipad iPhoto app

I hope there is as it would be a huge omission on apples part especially as we're supposed to be "post PC".

Edited images from the iPhoto app can be saved to the Camera Roll. Images from Camera Roll, Photo Stream, Synced with iTunes or just imported from a camera card can be ordered via this newly released free app:

As Julian mentioned, you may be able to run a program on a network computer that shares its printers over WiFi as if they were AirPrint. Printopia is one, and you may be able to find some free options if you search. This approach requires that the WiFi network supports AirPrint by correctly handling Bonjour data, and that the host computer be available any time you want to print.
Another approach is to run an App on the iPad such as Print n Share. Check out the EuroSmartz web site <http://www.eurosmartz.com/> to see if that might work for you.
If your printer happens to be from Hewlett Packard, there is a free iPad App that may help, "HP iPrint Photo".

there are parental control apps you can look into. Such as McGruff. You block safari in restrictions then use the mcgruff app. Or you can look into your router and see what settings you can change there.
Also, depending on your service provider, some give you free access to content control.

For the most part it seems like the AIR api is like a layer on top of the spark - flex system.. I would like to be able to over lay the same AIR functionality on top of the the old system....

There is no trash can. When you delete, they are gone.

Try and force your iPad into Recovery Mode to remove passcode.
1. Turn off iPad
2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune (make sure you have the newest version of iTune)
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad. Data will be lost if you do not have backup.

Is there any way to recover files from the guest account on a Mac, after the machine has been logged out?

I had uploaded some photos onto iPhoto on the guest account for my visitors, intending to burn them on departure.
I updated my Mac with a system software update, which required reboot so I of course types in the admin username/password to do so.
I received no warning message "caution: all temporary files in guest account will be deleted if you logout" as if you logout directly from the guest account, so I had forgotten about the guest account wipe.
Just today I switched to the guest user, and was dismayed to find the files gone.
Surely there must be some way to recover these files? Can anyone help?!

They possibly still exist on the hard drive if you haven't overwritten that space already.
Your only hope is to try a file recovery program like Data Rescue 3 or some sort like that.
(note: the product linked to is an example of the suggested kind of software that may help you; it is not in any way my recommendation or endorsement of the product. I haven't used this product and can't comment on its effectiveness).

Is there any way to download/print/export the CUP Change Log?

Does anyone know if there is a way to export, download, print, etc. the CUP Change Log report? We are on GRC 5.3 SP13.
We have just started an audit review and the Auditors are asking for a report of all changes made since 10/1/2010. I can generate it on the Configuration/Change Log/Search Change Log screen but it doesn't seem to have any export/print options.
If this is not possible, does anyone know what tables make up the Change Log? I may be able to give them a report off of the tables.

by default there is no export feature for that one.
To find the right table I only see that you would need to query the tables for one of the entries to find the right one as there is no official DB structure published.

Is there any way to remove "sudo" from the server?

sudo can do a lot of things which root can do. I tried the following to remove, but got failed message. Is there any graceful way?
Or, maybe I don't have to remove it, by default, nobody can use sudo to run root only commands, unless I give them priviledge to do so by using "visudo", right?

The idea of the sudo command is to give a user root access without the need to tell them the root password. When the user is not already root the sudo command will ask the user for the current user account password. This is to prevent that someone uses the sudo command in case your session gets hijacked. There is usually a default timeout. As long as you enter another sudo command within 5 minutes of the last sudo command, you won't have to enter your password.
The visudo command is typcially used to edit the /etc/sudoers file, which defines which users or groups are allowed to use the sudo command and to which commands or group of commands it applies. For instance if you make an entry in the /etc/sudoers file to allow a certain user to use all commands, then the user can enter "sudo su -" to become root without having to know the root password.

I am trying to make a movie for a research project for school on Lions. I've never been to Africa to get the footage I need to make this movie but the Internet has great footage that I would like to incorporate in my film.
