Is there any way this can be done?
I have a 30GB video Ipod(2005 Fifth Gen I think) I had my ipod hooked up to my PC for a couple of years and it worked fine. Then it just stopped recognizing my ipod all together. I didn't really care that much because I had lots of music on it but now I want to put more music on it. It came with a cd and I have tried to load it over and over so it could maybe recognize the ipod with no luck. I just recently got my Imac and gave up trying to get it to work on the pc, so I tried to get it to work on my Imac and it said that the ipod could not be installed on the Mac! I think it is because it is formatted in windows(At least thats what it says in the "about ipod" setting on my ipod) *Is there any way to get the mac to recognize the ipod so I could reformat it for the mac?* Or do I have to find a friends PC to load the disk that came with the ipod and try to reformat it. I'm not very computer literate so I apoligize if this is a easy question to answer but if there is any way to salve this please help someone. Thank you

Alright folks if you are looking at my problem/question above I have found my solution I don't know if this will help everybody but I gathered up a little money and bought a new cord that goes to the ipod to the computer(Dynex brand) and it finally recognized my ipod on the Imac. I feel a little bit stupid that I didn't do this earlier. Before I would connect my ipod to the computer and it would just charge, not recognize, but with a new cord it works just fine. Sorry to waste everyones time.

I have purchased a mac mini only to find I am unable to run Logic pro 9 , is there any way this can be achieved? It has been suggested that I partition the drive and install a copy of an older operating system to run the Logic Pro, is this feasible?

I copied text & paisted it and then draged the 3 photos from the file...then clicked on the photo then clicked the inline boxon tool bar nexed to floating one and that is how I did it
I do not know what you mean "cut & paist" how do I get the photo in from my picter folder if I do not drag it to the page in Pages?
I went to my photo folder and copied a photo and paisted the photo on the top left part of the page and it went there but there was no text to the right of photo...I could crop the photo to what ever size but no text to the right of photo...
This is just too big of a mess of a program as it should be easier then this,,,I hav e 300 photos in this project and would have to re-paist them all...that is nuts...
I see the button to the right of inline and floating that has 6 [lace to have the photo but the text does not float around the photo...

There has to be an easier way to get my books ready for other formats other that Apple's iPad...iBooks Author was way eisier to make ready for iTunes...Love that program!!!

I've copied my itunes library onto an external hard drive. Is there any way I can do this and delete songs from my PC without also deleting from the external drive? Already lost two songs!!! It is also worth checking under Edit > Preferences > Advanced to see where iTunes thinks your media is supposed to go. You need to immediately pull credit reports to see what else he has done. Then "freeze" the credit report at all three agencies. That way even you need to lift the freeze to add credit cards or other credit items to your SSN.

Whenever I try to sync my iPod Touch 5th gen with iTunes I get an error message saying "The iPod "*****" could not be synced because the sync session failed to start". Is there any way I can fix this?

I have the latest update, 5.0.1 and I have the iPod Touch 3rd gen.
I have tried removing itunes and all that is associated with it then reinstalling and keep getting the same message. I've reset my ipod thinking that would help but still, no backup.
In iTunes, Edit, Preference, Device there are no backups.
What am I doing wrong, can you help?

I don't know if you can fix it or not. You can try or you can pay Apple to repair/replace it or you can pay a thrid party to repair it.

You can try to place the iPad into recovery mode and see if it will restore. I don't know of anything else that you could try if the iPad is totally unresponsive.
I would let it charge for a while first - even if you have tried to let it charge already. This article explains recovery mode.

Are you running Mountain Lion (Mac OSX 10.8.x)? If so, and you are using Pages, you should be aware that Apple has implemented a new auto-save feature for its software (and other software that has been written to comply). The very good news is that you can retrieve prior states of your document. The bad news is that the feature makes it easy to modify your work inadvertently by saving your changes without your knowledge. I don't think Apple has it quite right yet. In any event, research OS 10.8 auto-save and see if this might be your problem.

As far as I know there's no way to see a list of when and where I sign in using my Apple ID?Sorry but no, Apple cannot give you that information. The only way they could give anyone such an IP address would be if they received a court order to do so, if even then; I don't know what sort of tracking and logs they do.
However, if this email claimed that someone had tried to reset your password and in any way gave you a link to click to confirm your account information, the email was almost certainly a phish. Such phishing messages have been quite common over the last two or three weeks and should be deleted without responding. You may wish to manually type in the URL for Apple's page for managing an Apple ID and change your password, just as a precaution, and make sure you've set good security questions using responses that can't just be looked up for you (they don't have to be real information; you can use any response you wish as long as you can remember what you entered).

Look under iTunes>Preferences>Devices...is there a backup listed for her phone? First thing done when you sync is an iPhone backup. If you have not synced since screwing her phone up, restoring from that backup(if it exists) should restore her content. Do not sync after you restore her phone, eject it. So, first disable auto-sync on that same device pane in iTunes before you proceed. If this doesn't work, is your sister bigger than you? If so, run 'cause her data is gone .
