Is there any way to connect an iDevice (like iPad/iPod/iPhone) as a screen? If so, how can I obtain the software/accessory needed?
I'll admit it: I'm just curious. I'm trying to completely increase the portability of this beautiful invention, and this seemed like the best option. If there isn't an accessory/app like that, then dagnabit! Someone should make one!

My iPad is disabled because of a Bluetooth mishap (my keyboard in my coat pocket tried to enter my password too many times). So I can't enter my password on the screen. Unfortunately I didn't back up the last few weeks of documents in any way, via either iCloud or syncing. And I just can't erase all the work I've done--it's irreplaceable to me.
Is there any way to connect the iPad to a WiFi network through external software, maybe using the lightning connector?
I ask because in iCloud I marked the iPad as Lost (in Find My iPhone), so I may get another chance at entering my password if the iPad can get online to receive the signal. But because it's disabled it won't connect to a network.

An alternative would be to host with Adobe Business Catalyst and upgrade to the eCommerce hosting plan and do your database functions using Business Catalyst Web Apps. It is a bit of a learning curve but in my opinion the better option than hosting on third party hosting and trying to convert everything.
Keep in mind that even if you change the pages to php to add mySQL connection this would all have to be done by hand or with Dreamweaver. Muse does not support Database connectivity or dynamic content. The only real practical workaround is to use Business Catalyst along with Muse. -

The iPod and iTunes are designed so that you cannot transfer music on an iPod to another iTunes Library. This is because the 15,000 songs do not belong to you and you have no legal right to keep them.

The closest you can come, without having a 3G iPad is to have a cellular mobile hotspot like the Mifi or such device, use that to get to wifi, or to tether it to a cell phone.

Well, I read that already, but I am trying to start up my Mac mini(new purchase) and I cannot get to all the system preferences etc since I cannot get past the startup screens. Sure. Install the latest version of iTunes on your PC, and just connect your iPod Touch to it, decline the prompt to autosync (the warning about losing your music), then go into the info tab, select sync contacts, and click apply. Your contacts will be transferred (both directions, i.e. the outlook contacts and your IPT contacts will be merged and the combined set will be present on both lists).

It syncs the photos taken with the iPod (really an old iPhone 3G without phone service) but not the folders which I synced from the old hard drive to the iPod over the past year.thank you for the tip.
Yes, my computer was backed up. for reasons way too complicated to go into here, these particular folders were not part of the backup.
