Is there any way to get an older version of iTunes on my computer? I really dislike the newest version.

My computer crashed last week. I had to replace it. It was necessary to reinstall iTunes. Of course, the most current version was downloaded. I really dislike it. I can no longer sort my music the way I want it.There is way too much emphasis album art work. It takes too much work to do the same thing older versions were able to do. Crazy as it sounds, I'm looking for a downgrade.
Does anyone know how to download an older version? I hate to think I'm stuck with the current one. Your suggestions are appreciated.

Is there any way to get an older app version of apple tv remote?

It's been several months since the apple tv remote app was updated to 3.0+.
Once I updated, I have not been able to control my apple tv (2nd gen).
I have 2 ipod touch (2nd gen as well) and neither can use the updated app to control our apple tv any more.

Long story short. Is there any way to get an older version of the app (say 2.4)? I've looked everywhere but everyone links back to itunes (and that only has the latest version). You can only do so if you downloaded a previous version at some point in the past, and it's still in the iTunes library on your computer. If that version is updated too, maybe the old version is in Trash/Recycling Bin.

Lost my music, is there any way to get it back through "previous itunes library" file?

About a 2 months ago I had to update my iTunes library, leading to this mess. The update told me that it didn't finish and that there was an error, so I had to reinstall all of my itunes. This led to all my songs having an exclamation point next to them. I didn't know how to get the music to each file so I got frustrated and deleted them. Then I found all of my songs and dragged them into itunes. Now, all my play counts, date of purchases, playlists, ratings, etc. are gone!! I noticed that there are "previous itunes libraries", one of which is from a couple days before all this happened. Is there ANY way at all that I can revert back to that file and it will have my playlists, play counts, etc.? ANY help will be greatly appreciated!!!

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer files/docs/pics/music/etc.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy (not good), then you can transfer from an ipod: File>Transfer Purcahses
You buy one and only one download. it is your responsibility to move copy/backup your purchases.

Is there any way to get ipad 2 mirroring (beta ios 5) to work with unicast? The school won't enable multicast for traffic concerns on a many AP wireless network.

They are afraid to enable it because of traffic concerns - many wireless devices all sending everything to every AP on the district wireless network. Is there any way to come up with an acceptable solution (unicasting?) that will only route traffic to the devices connected to a single access point on the network (the same one the ipad 2 and apple tv are connected to) without sending it to all the access points on the district wireless network? Short of every teacher having an independent wireless router in each of their rooms (which could still potentially interfere with the district wireless), I don't currently have a solution. I've heard the network guys through around terms like multicasting, unicasting, igmp, etc. I don't want to choke down the district wireless either, but there must be a solution to this. I could easily see 40 teachers in the complex all using iPad 2s mirroring through apple tvs attached to projectors all going on at the same time, but there might only be 3 or 4 on each access point.

Ipod touch 1st generation says "can not connect to itunes store" when trying to get free apps. we have a new computer and i downloaded the newest version of itunes...please help

I bought my son a 1st generation Ipod touch off of Ebay. We set it back to factory settings and downloaded the newest version of itunes. Whenever he tries to download any apps it says "can not connect to itunes" I have checked the wifi connection and that is working (he can get on safari) and we have the newest version of windows. He was so excited to finally get his first Ipod and now cant do anything with it...please help

Is there any way to get into your ipod through itunes and be able to unlock it with your passcode?

I dropped my ipod and now the bottom half of my screen isnt working too well and I can't get my lock to slide over to the right to try and type in my passcode, so I was wondering if there was a way to unlock my ipod from itunes and be able to take the passcode off so it is easier for me to get into my ipod. Or if there is an easier way to kind of reset the passcode part without resetting the whole ipod. Or if i should just buy a new ipod..

Restore, if iTunes will let you. Everything except the password will be restored. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. Be forewarned that it takes a long time. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

There is no requirement to have Windows 7 to run the current version of iTunes.
If you want an older version of iTunes, a simple google search will show where to find older installers.
However, if you would prefer to resolve the real issue (which likely will still occur even with an older version of iTunes), try the following:
Disable any security software.
Try downloading from a different browser.
