I found my old iPod that I haven't used since about 2010, and I no longer have the computer that the library was synced with. Is there any way to get my music off of it so that I can put it on my new iPod? The old one is a 30 GB from 2005.
CS2 is very old and reached its "end of life" a while back. So probably won't run on modern operating systems. If you can still run it, you'll need to uninstall what you have and re-install with the download link below to activate it.

If you are there now, there is nothing you can do. Before going you should have talked with Verizon, they have international service programs they can activate, but it has to be before going.

Is there any way to get photos off of my iPhone 4 that won't turn on?
A couple of weeks ago my iPhone 4, running on iOS 7, decided to stop working. It just shut off all of a sudden, and wouldn't turn back even if it was plugged into a computer. It would just say that it was an iPhone in recovery mode, and that it needed to be restored. I would be okay with doing this, however I recently went on a big trip and took hundreds of photos on this trip with my phone, and I mistakenly did not back up my iPhone since this trip. I was wondering if there was any way to get these pictures off of my phone myself, and if not if there is any way that the people at the apple store could help me?

Firefox 5 has a great new feature called app tabs, but it looks like I'm stuck resetting them every time I quit firefox or restart my computer. It seems to me the whole point of "pinned" app tabs is that they're the sites you read most frequently, and therefore it would be useful if they loaded automatically when firefox was started. Is there a way to do this? Do I have firefox on the wrong settings? Or am I stuck re-creating my app tabs every time I restart my computer / firefox??
Thanks for the reply, it seems to have solved my issue.
My tabs are normal and unpinned, I just have Firefox set to open all my current tabs. Safe Mode didn't seem to have this issue, so I disabled Classic Theme Restorer. Several restarts didn't have problems, so I enabled it again and now this isn't happening anymore. Hopefully it stays gone for good and didn't just stop momentarily.
Edit. So as soon as I posted this, it started happening again. More testing definitely points to Classic Theme Restorer as the cause, so I'll have to investigate solutions on that end. -
Our hard drive crashed (it was the one that was recalled) and Apple replaced it. Is there a way to access our iTunes account and get our music/movies back? Or do we have to re-download everything? What about music we purchased?
Perhaps without a lecture level 10, it has long been a basic requirement to backup one's computer. Of course who would have thought one would have to backup something that is downloaded from a premium service like Apple's iTunes with the iCloud.
Much of the media purchased from Apple appears to be redownloadable, except for things that are arbitrarily not (because of licensing or whatever, but these reasons are not apparent to us, the lowly customer).
This is hard to understand until one has a problem, and finds the article listed above, or tries to enter a support ticket and ends up in the forum with someone who has obviously answered too many questions.
So how about we ask that a product manager at Apple consider a novel new feature - provide an online locker for movies purchased with real money through iTunes.
Let's call it iCloud and tell the world about it! -

Sorry, but if you don't know the passcode, and you can't sync without it, you will need to plug the device into iTunes, then restart it in DFU mode and restore it.

I use iCloud for all of my iWork documents, and it's saved me in the past (I had a laptop stolen, but all my documents were safe), so I swear by it. I just had a scary experience with a non-Apple program randomly deleting important documents, so I thought I'd be over-cautious and ask if there's any way to download hard copies of documents created and stored in iCloud in Pages so that I can back them up and keep them for prosperity. Thanks!
iCloud keeps copies of your iWork documents on your Mac so that you could work on them without an internet connection. It would then sync them to the cloud the next time you are connected. These copies are located in your user library > Mobile Documents in separate folders for each application. If you have Time Machine set up, & I certainly hope you do, you already have copies & backups.
