Is there any way to get the server app other that through the app store. We do not have our system conneted to a network. I typical downloaded items on a non-apple system.

We run a closed-loop network of apple systems and I tipically downloaded updates on a non-apple system that was on the internet.
Any ideas?
I did buy the server app, went to the app store to download it. This system I'm using for downloads is Snow Leopard 10.6.8, it shows that I can download it but only as an Install which says I need 10.8. I can't seem to find a way for it to just download as a package or .dmg file so that I can copy it to DVD/CD or flash drive.

Is there any way to get Siri to work via wifi through a proxy?
I work in a school that has wifi with Internet accessible through a proxy. With my previous iPhone 3GS, I was able to get online, access the app store.. In fact, do everything on wifi except receive and send email. Now, with the 4s, I have to add Siri to that list. It works fine everywhere else (on 3G or wifi) but no joy at work. Any ideas? I do have access to the school server so if there's a sneaky server side change to make, I can :)
We were having the same problem here at the School I work at. By looking at some traffic logs and doing some internal testing, it appears Siri attempts to make a direct connection to the outside network using HTTPS (port 443), without using any of the proxy settings you may have configured on the Wifi network.
We've reported it as a bug to Apple but haven't heard anything back yet.
To get around it in the meantime you'll have to punch a hole in your firewall to allow Siri traffic through.
Currently Siri appears to contact IP address 17.174.4.14 over port 443. The IP address may change in the future, but that will at least get you up and going for now. We went ahead and opened the entire 17.174.4.0/24 network, as the entire block of addressess is owned by Apple.
Again, there is no gaurentee that this will not change in the future and break again.

Best Buy screwed me and lost everything, so since my Spotify was linked through my Facebook when I re-installed Spotify it was all still there. So, I was wondering if there was any way to put my music back into my iTunes library? I tried authorizing it and that didn't help at all. I clearly know nothing about any of this.
If I understand it correctly Spotify has indexed the media you like, and you can stream it again to the Spotify app on demand within the terms of your subscription. It won't give you access to downloadable copies of your tracks.

You however are not using wildcards.
If you want to do an exact match then you should use '='. If you want to approximate matches then you should use a wildcard: '%' or '_'.

Itunes deleted 30 gigs of music from my ipod. And I don't or didn't have it saved in Itunes or on my computer....is there any way of getting my music back? Alot of the music was not purchased from Itunes....mostly from cds I dont have anymore! PLEASE HELP!

I have tried the iphoto forum and have been directed here. Is there any way to get 720x576 (ie DV Pal) for an export from iphoto slideshow? I want to export 200+ photos with random transitions and the ken burns effect. Imovie offers offers automatic ken burns effect via project properties but I can't find a way to add random transitions automaticcally. Is it possible? I want to add the exported file to a movie in Final Cut Studio. Normally I have to resort to using adobe photoshop elements 5 and premiere elements 3 on my bootcamp partition. I would love to do this all in Mac OSX - since leaving Windows, this is the only thing that forces me to use that lousy operating system!

Not directly. But you can do it with a bit of external help. Create a slideshow project in iPhoto using the "Random" transitions and auto KBE you want. Then export the slideshow as a 640x480 MPEG4/AAC 30 fps full motion MOV file. Drop the file to MPEG Steamclip and select the "Export to DV" File menu option. The select the DV format, PAL standard, and aspect you want. (I would normally select the "Frame Blending" option in the main menu when going from 30 fps to 25 fps.) -
I have never been able to receive any updates. And cannot find cetain features like Content Aware, Adobe Watermarks etc...Is there any way I can add these and other features unavailable to me? Or do I have to upgrade the version I have? If so, how much would that be?
The only "content aware" feature in CS5 is the fill, so you are not missing anything with the updates because nothing more is there. And I honestly don't know what you mean by "Adobe watermarks" there is no such thing, but there is a series of scripts for such stuff.

The picture on the black phone next to the 4 inch retina display section. Is there any way to get it? Is it a default photo or wallpaper of iPhone 5?It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer/files/docs/pics/music/etc, for just such an occasion.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases
Once the music is in itunes on your computer, then you can sync to your iphone. -

I need to obtain an image's attributes such as dimensions (height, width in pixels) without placing image in indesign document.
I have full path of the image (say abc.jpg is stored at c:\my pic\abc.jpg).
I have obtained the IDFile for this image, tried getting size using GetFileSize() which correctly return size in bytes.
Is there any way to get the height/width of image without importing it in the indesign document.
Please, give me some hints. I have spent quite a lot time digging in CHM. I have searched in FileUtils, IDFile API's but found no method which serves this purpose.
At this point I am clueless where to search next.
Any help will be appriciated.

D.You might be able to examine the contents of the PlaceGun after calling kImportAndLoadPlaceGunCmdBoss without actually placing the image in a document. Not sure, but would be worth looking at.
Otherwise you will probably have to write platform specific code, ideally with a generic platform-independant wrapper (see SDKSamples/paneltreeview/PlatformFileSystemIterator).
For the Mac, look at CGImageGetWidth() etc., not sure what the best option is for windows.
Perhaps Quicktime could provide you with a platform independant solution. -
Long story short, my one year old disabled my iphone5 and I need to "connect to itunes" as the screen instructs. I went through the steps and it says that I will be doing a factory reset and I will lose everything. Is there any way to get my phone open without losing everything?? I'm mainly concerned about my pictures and videos.

I have downloaded a Audio Book from Itunes Store, but rencently i have had to reinstall windows, is there any way to re-download the audio book from Itunes, i know that the audio books are one time downloads, but is there any way to get the audio book back as i have already paid for it once and i would not like to pay for it twice.
