Is there any way to install iTunes on windows 7 without it changing all my desktop shortcuts to iTunes?

I just got a new iPhone 6 and I want to use iTunes to download songs and back my info up on iCloud, but every time I try to install iTunes it replaces all my shortcuts with iTunes! I had to entirely uninstall it last time to be able to use google chrome again. Is there any solution to this problem?

Should you find that all of your desktop shortcuts have turned into links to the iTunes application download and apply the lnk registry fix from www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/19449-default-file-type-associations-restore.html.

It's not designed to work like this. When you sync, the iPod stores some information that basically says 'this iPod belongs to computer xyz'. Apple did this to prevent copyright issues (syncing someone else's music).
If you really want to do this, you'll have to at least tie both iTunes installations to the same account. Maybe have them sync with each other.

However, if you mean songs purchased from the iTunes Store (songs), then you need to consult the documentation for your Nokia. Songs purchased from the iTunes Store are in .m4a format (also known as AAC). If your Nokia cannot play .m4a files, then you will need to use iTunes (the programme) to create an MP3 version.

If you had previously been backing up to iCloud (or a computer with iTunes), you would possibly have a backup. That said, if you can't turn the phone on, you cannot create a backup of the device now. Sorry.

If you haven't already, restart the ipad by holding home and power for ten seconds until the apple appears.
There may be an app that is draining the battery.
Try the following:
1) Kill all apps by double-tapping the home button, then holding any app's icon until it displays the ' - ' symbol. Touch the ' - ' symbol on all apps. This stops the app.
2) Go to airplane mode to turn off wifi and 3G, if so equipped.
3) recheck the battery life by using an offline-only app, like a game, for an hour or so and see if the battery seems to last longer than before.
Typical battery life is a drain of 10% per hour. Your mileage may vary.
If the battery is lasting longer, you need to isolate what is causing the drain.
4) If still rapidly draining, try going to Settings, General, Reset, reset all settings.
5) If none of this gave you any change in the battery life, you may want to do a restore of the ipad from within itunes.
