Is there any way to merge 2 video layers to one without exporting?

Is there any way to merge 2 video layers into one without exporting as a new QuickTime movie? I have tried opening a blank player to copy and paste into, but it always forces it to be layered, even when I change the layer numbers both to zero. I tried extracting the video layers and omitting the audio tracks. Then I saved it as a new self contained movie. I am trying to burn the video to dvd with Roxio Easy Media Creator 9's MyDVD on WIndows XP, but I am also using a MacBook with QuickTime Pro. MyDVD will only recognize one video and audio layer at a time, hence, the other layers get skipped. There should be an easy way to merge two video layers without having to export it as a new movie, which takes 2 hours for this 2 hour TV show. Thanks for any answers.

You got the point.
My actual requirement is to convert a Frame book to PDF. But for some reason the O/P PDF gets cropped out when i pass a Frame book as Input whereas it works good with Frame files.

It would be so much easier having seperate accounts but we have hundreds of her purchased songs on my account and she would need to be able to access these from her account. Possible?
Also, if we bought a song in future we would want to be able to both have access to it.
Alternatively, what is the easy way to sync two distinctly different contact lists to one iTunes account?

FYI: iTunes account (used to make purchases) is not the same as iTunes library (iTunes on your computer with music, movies, etc.).

You can but you will not be able to limit what she syncs.
I would like to avoid 'checking' and 'unchecking' individual songs every time one of us tries to synch our ipods to the library.
I don't recommend using (only) the checkmarks to select what to sync.
Each of you can create your own playlists then sync only those playlists.
Then add/delete from your own playlists to change iPod content.
The only time I uncheck items is if I rarely/never want to sync them to anything, such as Christmas music or old audiobooks.
I suggest you each have your own computer login account. Then everyone has their own contacts, calendars, and everything else.
You and your husband can share an iTunes library and let your daughter have her own.

If you had previously been backing up to iCloud (or a computer with iTunes), you would possibly have a backup. That said, if you can't turn the phone on, you cannot create a backup of the device now. Sorry.

It's not designed to work like this. When you sync, the iPod stores some information that basically says 'this iPod belongs to computer xyz'. Apple did this to prevent copyright issues (syncing someone else's music).
If you really want to do this, you'll have to at least tie both iTunes installations to the same account. Maybe have them sync with each other.

No. But if you restore from backup on the last computer your phone synced with, this will remove the passcode.

If you haven't already, restart the ipad by holding home and power for ten seconds until the apple appears.
There may be an app that is draining the battery.
Try the following:
1) Kill all apps by double-tapping the home button, then holding any app's icon until it displays the ' - ' symbol. Touch the ' - ' symbol on all apps. This stops the app.
2) Go to airplane mode to turn off wifi and 3G, if so equipped.
3) recheck the battery life by using an offline-only app, like a game, for an hour or so and see if the battery seems to last longer than before.
Typical battery life is a drain of 10% per hour. Your mileage may vary.
If the battery is lasting longer, you need to isolate what is causing the drain.
4) If still rapidly draining, try going to Settings, General, Reset, reset all settings.
5) If none of this gave you any change in the battery life, you may want to do a restore of the ipad from within itunes.

Hm, good suggestion, but I've actually already done this (and I've had a friend go through the steps with me). There is just NOTHING that is showing up under any of the categories in the cloud for downloading. The thing is, I'm just not sure if I enabled cloud-sharing or not on my iphone (although I know I've backed up my data through cloud on my iphone at some point).
Any other suggestions?
