Is there any way to record other apps in garageband? Like the animoog or ms20?
This is so important to utilize the sounds from my other apps. I need to connect audio from other apps to route into garageband as if they were plug ins that can be read as a garageband track. It would be even better if you could sync garageband midi to control these other apps. That would make ipad a complete production tool. It seems the ipad is powerful enough to run 2 apps at the same time.. So when will this be possible?
Not a question anyone here would be in a postion to answer.Nor is it clear Apple is all that interested in making the iPad "a complete prodcution tool". Difficult to say. You can offer Apple feedback here:

you can't reverse the process, once you accepted there is no other way, if you sync it to your itunes library in your computer it will automatically update the updated app as well.
What you can try though is delete the app from your iPad and try syncing it to your itunes library but if you set up iCloud it may update the app automatically -

Your are likely to find running two different AppleIDs on the same device to be more trouble than it is worth. Apps and content cannot be shared between IDs.

Thanx P.Only if you have an iPhone backup from the time before you deleted the app. App data and settings are part of the backup, but iTunes replaces the existing backup with a new one when you sync. Only backups used to restore the phone will not be replaced and marked with a time stamp.
If you included the iphone backup folder into your computer backup routine, you could restore the folder and use the iphone backup to restore your phone. But all data will be set back to theat point in time when the backup was taken.

You can look for Intel compatible alternatives. You can partition your hard drive and install Snow Leopard on one partition that you can use to run PPC applications by installing the Rosetta emulator when you install Snow Leopard.
Beyond this it's hard to assist because you did not state what PPC applications you want to run. -

- start Acrobat 3D
- drag & drop a CAD file
- click on 3D Annot to activate
- right-click on 3D
- select 'Edit in 3D Toolkit'
- 3D Toolkit launches
- click in 'Scene Tree' panel
- right-click on top assembly name
- select 'Tools->Collapse Hierarchy'
- select 'File->Save'
- select 'File->Exit' -
I had backed-up my iPhone and when I try to restore it it says that the back-up is corrupt or the iPhone is not compatible. I had a bunch of pictures that I need from that restore. Is there any way to get them back? I did the back-up to my Macbook
If the backup is corrupt, there is nothing that can be done.
For what reason did you choose to not copy the pictures off the device to a computer prior to attemping an update or whatever caused the need to restore? iPhones are not intended as sole storage of any media. -

if you are not on ios 6, then all you can do is wait. if you have deleted the address from your contact list, then it will live on for a while in your 'recently used' addresses. as you use new addresses, those older ones fall down the list, and eventually fall off altogether (unless you use them again). Have patience, it will go away.
