If you did not back up the messages, they are gone. This would be true regardless of what brand of phone you have.
I don't understand what you mean about paper copies. Unless you printed out the messages, there would be no paper versions at all.

The Camera Roll is for temporary storage as with any other digital camera. Although photos in the Camera Roll are included with your iPhone's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process, photos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer ASAP. If you didn't sync your iPhone with iTunes since these photos were captured by your iPhone and the photos in the Camera Roll weren't imported by your computer, the photos are gone.
Depending on how wealthy you are, you can contact a data recovery service to see if they can recover deleted photos from an iPhone's flash drive, but you will pay an arm and a leg for this. Such a data recovery service is not cheap and with no guarantee the data will be recoverable.

What happened that you lost them?
If you have synced recently you could restore the iPhone and it will restore the camera roll to it's state at the time of that sync.

I had an old sparsebundle (380GB) saved onto an external drive.
I wanted to keep this old sparsebundle,
but when I went to run a new Time Machine backup to this external drive it deleted the old sparsebundle.
Is there any way to recover this deleted sparsebundle.
As I began to run the new Time Machine backup, it changed the name of the old sparsebundle
from xxxxx.sparsebundle
to xxxx.purgeable
then POOF it disappeared.
I cancelled the new Time Machine backup as soon as I saw the file extension change to .purgeable,
but even though the new Time Machine backup didn't seem to start (I cancelled it in time),
the old sparsebundle is gone.
I ran Data Rescue and all it could find is a file that is only a few KILObytes called xxxxx.in_process.
It would take a long time for the 380GB sparsebundle to be overwritten,
so I don't think that happened.
But can the old sparsebundle be recovered (and be usable)?

A sparsebundle is a disk image.. if the actual file info is wiped then I really doubt you can recover it. Since you ran a recovery software which has worked recovering stuff for me.. and it couldn't find it.. your only hope would be real data recovery centre.. but although they can get raw data off the disk how useful it would be is questionable.. sorry but I think it is gone.

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.6 running on Windows 7 PC.
After importing a group of photos including JPG and RAW files from a memory card (which was later reformatted), I noticed that the photos ended up in a folder on the wrong external drive. I tried to move them to another folder on the main drive using Lightroom and somehow deleted the original files. I can still see them in a Collection, but they cannot be edited or Developed as the underlying file cannot be found. Is there any way to recover these photos? Willing to listen to all suggestions. Thanks for your input.

Find an "undelete utility" (one such utility is called Recuva, but I have never used it) and see if it can recover your RAW photos. If you are going to do this, do not perform any other tasks on your computer except to find, download, install and run this undelete utility. If possible, download and install on a different drive than the photos were on. You can also try this undelete utility on your camera card.
While I'm at it, you might want to develop and implement a backup strategy, in which you don't delete from the camera card until you have TWO (or more) copies of your photos, on TWO (or more) different physical disks. And don't forget to back up your catalog file regularly and automatically.

Once logged in select my bill click on usage details then click on messages it will pull up the numbers you can print them from there. If you are looking for the actual messages you will not be to view that information online you can only get that information court ordered subpoena.
