800 clips extracted from these obviously on the timeline and joined/compounded according to their content in say 15 layers according to 15 instruments used ,so now just to see the entire usable footage ....
now one 7 minute song sequence has to be made where bits would be simultaneously taken from these 15 layers as all instruments are playing simultaneously
these shots are not more than 2 secs each according to the beat........
when I try to work with these 15 layers as well as the Final primary layer that I'm making in the same timeline my fcpx becomes slow
but when I drag individual layer to individual timelines it is fine so that is the only option
but now for every 2 second bit I have to go back to the 15 layered timeline and find one single suitable shot
So I was wondering is there a way to be able to see these layers and clips on the timeline in the browser in a systematic fashion like the way we get with keywords ?
and keywords can only be used in the imported clips already in the browser ,and not after we drag it on the timeline.....
Till now I think exporting and importing back is the only option ...but is there another work around ? -
My laptop has been in the apple store to be fixed more times in the past 2 years then you could imagine. They just replaced a defective wire in it, and hardrive not even a month ago and now the screen just went black and wont turn back on. Also is there a way to see everything that has been done to this laptop through the apple store?
If I were you I would call Apple Customer Relations (800) 767-2775. Tell them exactly what you stated in your post in a polite way. See what they can do for you.

I have the app Find Iphone, and my kids' ipods are linked to the app because we share an itunes account. My son cannot find his ipod, in which, he took it on a mini-vacation with friends. He never took it out of their vehicle, but it may have fallen out at some point, just not sure. When I check my app, it simply reads offline. I want to know if there will be a way to know if someone has reset it (even if I cannot locate them)? I don't want to keep wasting my time looking to see if it somehow was connected to the internet when it has already been cleared. Help pleased?

My Find Iphone is saying that when the device is connected to the internet that it will be locked and that a message (that I typed in) will appear. It also says that I will be notified and that a sound will occur when it is connected. Now my iphone has been updated to the ios7, but I don't think his ipod was updated.

Is there any way to see what I have stored in the Cloud for iTunes?
I am looking to find if some TV shows I bought are in my Cloud. They are in my libarry currently, but I want to make sure that if my computer ever crashes and loses data, that they won't be lost. I am looking for a way to see all the content that is in the Cloud for iTunes, but I have only find the webpage that shows contacts, notes, ect. Anyone know if this is possible? Thanks.
No, Apple very rarely make advance announcements of bug fixes.
You can restore much of the look & feel of the previous version with these shortcuts:
Ctrl-B to turn on the menu bar.
Ctrl-S to turn on the sidebar.
Ctrl-/ to turn on the status bar.
Click the magnifying glass top right and untick Search Entire Library for the old search behavior.
Alternatively you roll back to iTunes 10.7. If so, first download a copy of the 32 bit installer or 64 bit installer as appropriate, uninstall iTunes and supporting software, i.e. Apple Application Support & Apple Mobile Device Support. Reboot. Restore the pre-upgrade version of your library database as per the diagram below, then install iTunes 10.7.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to scan the media folder and catch up with any changes made since the backup file was created.

I lost my ipod is there any way to see if somebody has taken it or find out where it might be?
i left my ipod in a class one day and i thought my teacher would grab it to keep it safe during the weekend just to find out that somebody had taken it and i have a feeling who took it but i would like to know if it is at all possible to track the ipod or see if somebody does have. can the apple store help me track the ipod or not?
You can only track it if you already activated the FindMyiPhone feature (free for 4G iPod) and the wifi is on and the iPod within range of an unsecured wifi spot. I can be defeated by simply restoring your iPod. Apple can't/will not track it. This is what Apple says:

I have a client that believes someone came into his house and took some digital files (photos, stored in iPhoto) off of his iMac (2.66GHz running v10.6.7)
He usually just sleeps his computer while away and requires no password to login. Is there any way to see if an external device or CD/DVD has been used to save files? Is there any wya to see the history of a file and determine if it has been saved anywhere else? Is there any way to see all the bookmarked pins at once in Map App?!

I have been making a route for my next mountaineering trip using the red pins on the map app! i have like 20 bookmarks. I could see all the bookmarks at once and it was so nice. but after I searched another place all the bookmarks dissapeared. now i can see only one of the bookmarks at a time! is there any way to see all of them together again ?! please someone help I put so much affort to find the correct route...Richard,
Is there any way I can simply list everything at once?
The best workaround I'm aware of comes courtesy of BMan1854: Create a Smart Playlist that will Match the following rule: Date Added is after 01/01/2001 (or whatever the day before the day that you first started your iTunes Library is). That playlist will show your entire library.
Or is there a way so that when I add new podcasts it will get rid of the old ones automatically?
Have you gone to the iTunes Edit menu > Preferences > Podcasts tab and checked out the various options listed in the Keep drop-down menu. -

In short, no. There is no fix yet. They only barely acknowledge there is a problem. The "fix" is to enable 200% UI scaling which makes everything comically huge and unusable. This is pretty much of a joke. A really, really EXPENSIVE joke.

I had ordered a photo book print two years back. I want to reorder the same book again now. However, I have lost the album project/photos from iphoto.
Is there any way to see my print order history and reorder the same book for print ?No. Apple only keeps the pdf file for a book for 30 days. Without the library and book project you won't be able to reorder the same book.

I have bought the Light room 5 disk last December but I mistakenly misplaced the case that had the serial number on it. I need that number to download it otherwise, the disk is no use. Is there any way I can get someone where else?

Can I view track play counts in album view?
