I was just wondering if there might be a way to set the iPhone 4s calendar to display holidays?

If you want US holidays, you can add a subscribed calendar to your phone as described here: http://www.knowyourcell.com/apple/apple-iphone-4/iphone-4-guides/506391/how_to_a dd_us_holidays_to_your_iphone_4_calendar.html. Then in iCal on your phone, tap Calendars (upper left) and make sure the US Holidays calendar is checked, then tap Don (upper right).

Which times are you talking about? Deployment start times or deadlines? Those could be set to UTC *or* client local time.

I have a number of Ms Word documents because I used to have Word for Mac before the last OS release. Now, of course, when I double-click on them, I get a message saying that PowerPC isn't supported.
Now Pages will open these files. Is there any way to change the default for *.doc files so that a double-click will open them in Pages?
(Instead of me going to the trouble of finding out where they are actually located on the hard drive so that I can open pages and say - here, open this file--even though you didn't create it--)

Click on a .doc file and type Cmnd I to open Get Info. In the Open with: menu select Pages, then click on Change All…

Is there a way to set the iPhone to have a black screen with white text?

I found the "Invert Colors" option under Settings > General > Accessibility, and like it a lot. It provides enhanced readability.
The problem is that it inverts all colors, even for apps. So when I view a web page in Safari, all the colors are inverted for the images.
And when I view my photos in Photos, these are also inverted as well.
Is there a way to set up the iPhone to default to a black screen and white letters for the OS, but allow the apps and photos, etc. to
be viewed in their regular colors. For example, can I run Photos to view my photos on a black background but view the photos in their
normal coloring?

I'm afraid that is not possible, maybe this could bee a step in that direction if you use the mentioned Zoom function:

Invert the screen colors. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility, then turn on Invert Colors.
See the screen in grayscale. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility, then turn on Grayscale.

Is there any way to set the height of choice list or list of values?

I recently created a page with some fields as choice lists and some as list of values. Somehow the choice list when opened it is not displaying data properly (I have 3 rows, it is showing only 2 rows and have to scroll to see third row) . I would like to see if there is any way to set this so that I can see all three rows or set the height of choice list as a fixed height?

Is there any way to set the inspector in Pages to default with your personal settings?

Every time I want to use Pages I have to use the inspector to indicate if I want a header and footer or not. That is getting annoying. I would like to be able to set margins and if I want the header and footer or not and then make these the default settings. Is there any way to do this?

It appears to me after tinkering around that I can set a page like I want it and then save it as a template. I did so to a folder in Finder. Now the only way I can automatically bring up "default" settings on a Pages blank document is to go directly to that file in Finder and open it from there, not from Pages itself. Is there any other way to do this?

I am still trying to transfer films back to my iPad that are on my iPhone they were easily transferred from my phone to iTunes library on my pc but when I got my first mac and synced my iPad it deleted them all. I still have on my iPhone and won't sync as it says all films will be deleted. I fully understand this was my error before disposing of PC. OK, so your old iTunes library was on your PC and now the library is on your Mac? Do I have that right? Your iPhone and iPad were auto syncing to the PC and now you connect them to your Mac and it wants to clear out the media?
This is important, do you have in your iTunes library on your new Mac, the media you want now? Or are you trying to move your media by copying what is on the iPhone/iPad to your iTunes?

Hey, when i bourght my iphone, i entered in a number, which i now want to change to a replace with a different number. Can i do this, and how??
The number i entered was registered to a sim card on O2 UK, and once i entered it and continued my sim card deactivated itself and has been ever since. Can i change this and, and enter a different number for the phone to work on.

I have both 7.1 and 8 installed, and usually only use 8 to open an example or look at something posted here. When I do that, it resets all the OS hooks so that the default action for opening a VI is to open it in version 8. I've even gone so far as to create actions to open files in 7.1 and 8, but it always resets my default action.
I found this KB article for when version 7 came out, but it's suggestions don't seem to work with 7 and 8.
Ugh. I hate it when software thinks it knows what I want better than I do.

Add
in the LabVIEW.ini file of those versions you do not want to rewrite
the registry on startup to point to themselves for VI files, the
following:
RegisterExtensions=False
Of course the VersionChooser utility mentioned earlier is even more convinient.

Is there any way to set the email on my 8330 to automatically download images? Currently using o/s v4.5.0.173. Email settings are set to enable HTML Email & set to download images automatically but I still have to tell it to download the images and go through the prompts advising that downloading internet images can expose your internet address, blah blah blah.
