Is there any way to stretch what was recorded as HD from the camera that became SD on FCE back to HD in the project. I have tried all settings and none seem to make any difference. Anamorphic doesn't seem to retain its setting when I set up a new sequenc.

yes, I recorded straight from camera to computer. The camera is a Sony HDRSR12 and it was set to wide screen it ran through a Canopus ADVC300 via firewire to the computer.
I burnt some to DVD and if you set the TV screen on widescreen it looked great. But for those still with SD it will be skinny.
So I am not sure how to get the footage into a widescreen format in a sequence as the anamorphic setting doesn't work for this footage.

Hello. I have an iphone5 and I use it for a hotspot for mylaptop and printer. Does any one know a device that will extend its range? I have tried a Netgear and Belkin range extenders without any luck. The Belkin was closest to working. IT could find my iphone but when it create a new network, both the laptop and printer could not find the new extended network. Thank you!
Hi - you can do what you want to do with AirPlay from your iPhone - but unfortunately it is not as easy as the people in the Apple store told you - your first problem is that you have a non Apple router - you cannot extend a non Apple router wirelessly with the Express - you can only join the network and connect an ethernet device to it - you can however connect via ethernet and have it create a wireless network of its' own - you can set this up from your iPhone or the XP - but this is a complicated setup and would involve many different discussion areas of this forum - therefore I would suggest that you use your 90 days of support and consult directly with Apple to do this - go to this link - http://www.apple.com/support/contact/

My iPod touch is stuck in landscape view. Even when held vertically if I open facebook or safari is rotates to landscape. Have tried turning on and off, same results. Any ideas to fix?
Try switching it back from landscape to vertical. Or, go to settings and see if you have any special setting turned on that enable only landscape view. Also, try hooking it up to your computer and charging it to see what happens.

Photoshop: Selecting Save for Web gives error: "Could not complete this operation. An unknown operating system error has occurred."
I have tried all of the solutions I've found, but none work for me or my two systems (windows 7 and windows 8.1)
Many times I get the message only when saving a web file that there is not enough memory: My windows 8 has 2 TB and 10 Gigs of ram. I took it into the shop to see if something was wrong with the hard drive or ram, but when I hooked up my windows 7, I'm having the exact same issues. Please help.

I set ram to 100%, I changed my preferences in editor to not run anything to do with auto analyzer, I renamed the file auto analyzer to put a space in as someone said to do... I even did the following...
Reset Photoshop's Save For Web preferences:
1. Quit Photoshop
2. Delete the "Adobe Save For Web 12.0 Prefs" file:

Whenever I "save for web" and save something to the root of C:/ it will work, but the next time I "save for web" it produces the error. I was able to fix it by going into User Account Control settings and scaling down to "never notify." It requires a reboot, but the next time I "saved for web" it worked fine.
If you do this, be sure to change the UAC back to "default" as it is a security measure.
FYI you will have to restart anytime you tweak UAC.
To change UAC in Win 7 go to control panel>Action Center>Change User Account Control Settings and drag the slider to "never notify."Try this: press F10 or tap the Alt key to display the menu bar temporarily, then
View > Toolbars > Menu Bar
If that doesn't work, you could reset your toolbars to factory default using Firefox's Safe Mode. First, make a backup of your computer for safekeeping. To back up Firefox, see [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information].
Next, start Firefox in Firefox
[http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode Safe Mode], and check only the box to reset toolbars. Be careful not to "reset" anything else if you didn't back up.

Is there any way to see what was texted?
Is there any way to get a printout of what was said in an sms text? Also when I check my account activity online, it wont show the number that the text message was sent to or received from. Why is that? Please no responses about if I don't trust my child then don't let them text. I am just curious about how to get a full printout of what was being said. The reason I need this is private. Thank you.
If the phone involved is a smartphone, and you can use the app Integrated Messaging from Verizon, then yo can log in to the phone's MyVerizon account and see the messages, and print them out, download them to a spreadsheet, etc. If you are the parent, the account owner, and this is a minor child, you can set up the MyVerizon account using their number.
If the numbers are not showing up on the detailed view, it could be for a couple of reasons:
It takes 24-48 hours for details to show up - so if it's less than a day, you won'' see specific numbers
If the messages were sent via a texting app or iMessage (on an iPhone) it won't show up under texting, but under data, with no details as to the #'s involved.
If this does not involve a minor child, but another adult, then a court order may be your only other option. -
Is there a way of knowing what was downloaded/received by an iphone at a given time?
A week ago I was abroad and kept data roaming at all times to avoid surprises. However, at some point I had to use data roaming for sending a message and unfortulately something of around 24MB was downloaded. Before that my data roaming consumption was below 1MB. I would like to contest this charge but for that I would have to know what was downloaded. My guess is that probably a pending app update was the cause of this but I would like to be sure. Is there a way of finding out details of network usage history?

This is indeed possible, at least in the newer versions I use.
Take the array refnum from the click event data terminal and get a reference to the array element. This refers to the element that was clicked, but you do need to work out how to get the index. My method is to use property nodes to get the screen position and size of the element and the screen position and size of the array, as well as the array's Visible Index property. For each direction, take the quotient of the relative position of the element (account for padding!) over the size of an element.
I suspect that taking the mouse coords and comparing to the array's sizes in pixels is similar, although I trust my method for events that don't have mouseclicks (what coords does Array:shortcut menu selection(User) return if you used the keyboard?)

Is there a way to export what you record as sheet music?
Maybe this is something simple I just haven't figured out yet. I recently recorded a melody in GarageBand. I'm wondering, is there any way to view the notes of what I recorded in the form sheet music? I would like to have the song translated into sheet music, so I can't print it out on a single page PDF or Word Document.

When I sync my iPad and iPod is there a way to limit what goes on one, different from the other?
I have an 8 Gb iPod and a 16 Gb iPad. I'd like to be able to decide what not to sync to my iPod but would want on my iPad. Is there any way to do this?
in itunes, once your device is conected it will appear on the right hand side. click on it and then on the main window you can select at the top, apps, music movies, etc..
that's where you can customize you sync for that device, by checking unchecking boxes.
and this is only for that device. plug another and do the same. and another, and another, as many as you want.

This Lion wireless issue has become more than just an irritation, so much so, my wife has resorted to sitting in front of a 27 inch imac with a 300 dollar Walmart Windows computer to get the bills paid and use the web. And yes, there is not a fix out there I haven't tried over the last year or so, some worked and some didn't, but all were temporary at best. Same issue with my Macair, I wonder if its a hardware issue, like the video card in my 2006 MBP, it went out after the warrenty and then I found out there was a calss action suit going on over it, unfortunately Apple wouldn't cover it and wanted 7oo bucks to fix it, sold that as parts.
While i really like me Macs, I own three, I may have to bow out and stick with LINUX, that has yet to let me down, anyone know if Mountain will fix this issue? or are we all just waiting for defective WiFi cards to fail at our own expense, PS, got three Macs for sale.Sounds like you're getting kernel panics, which are usually, but not always, caused by hardware problems, with memory being one of the regular culprits.
First thing I would do is to get our your original OS X disks, insert the first one (should say 'AHT version x.x' in small print on the label - if not, find the one that does), and reboot holding the Alt key down. Choose the Apple hardware test, and when prompted, choose the extended test. If you have either of the TechTool programs, they can do similar testing. Does that identify any hardware issues?
Next, I'd download rember from http://www.kelleycomputing.net/rember/ . This is a memory testing program that you can set to run overnight. Does it come up with any errors? If so, try resetting your memory card(s) by removing and putting back into the computer. Rerun memory test.
