Is there any way to turn the low battery warnings off for my Mighty Mouse?

I noticed a pop-up warning on start-up when my battery life reached two bars for my new wireless Mighty Mouse. Also the battery sign kept on flashing in my menu bar.
I was wondering if there was a way of turning these warnings off, save uninstalling the Apple software, or should I just change batteries and not worry about getting as much use as I can out of my current pair.
I've also turned off "show bluetooth status in menu bar" in mouse preferences but it keeps on turning on at startup and it doesn't seem to get rid of the low battery indicator flashing on and off in the menu anyway.
(And would turning off system events as a login item disable the startup warning?).

My own experience is that when the warning pops up (regardless of the yellow bars), you need to change the batteries. In my case I use rechargeable 2500 mAh batteries and an Energizer recharger that charges AA and AAA batteries in 15 minutes.

The light cannot be turned off, but if you stop by at the office supply store and get a sheet of small 1/2" white routnd labels, you can place a few over the light to dim it significantly. Add more labels as needed to adjust for the brightness level you want to achieve.
Of course, you could use a piece of tape, but the white labels look much nicer and won't be noticeable once you get 4-5 feet away from the device.

Is there any way to edit the standard Firefox context menu for displayed Web pages? I frequently want to save a picture appearing on a page. Sometimes I "slip" and hit "Send Image" when I want "Save Image As", and have to sit and wait for a default send-mail page to come up, then close it, fiddling with its "are you sure" dialogs. This is a painful way to handle a slip-up. I basically NEVER want to e-mail an element directly from a page. Is there any way I can just delete "Send Image" from the context menu?

Does anyone know of a way to turn the camera on and off remotely? I have a client that wants to mount a camera to the ceiling to photograph large rugs on the floor. We need a way to turn the camera on and off remotely and I am lookin for a solution.

I have at least one Canon remote that I've used with my 7D's. Unfortunately, I don't have it with me, because today's shoot doesn't require it. So I can't give you the model number. (Models come and go anyway.) It has a shutter button that you can press halfway to activate auto-focussing, just like the button on the camera. But you do have to make sure that the camera has an IR sensor. On a Canon DSLR, look for it where the fingers of your right hand would cover it up; I think that's intentional, so that a spurious IR beam won't fire the shutter while you're taking hand-held shots. Also, check that the camera and the remote are compatible, e.g. that they agree on the frequencies of light that are to be used.

Centro - Any way to change the Low Battery Warning criteria?

My wife always lets her phone die because she doesn't realize it's going down. Per the manual she gets an audible warning at 5%. Is there any way to change that to get the audible warning sooner?

Nope, unfortunately there is no way to modify that particular setting. You might want to look into possibly getting an extended battery if she is in the need of having it substain a longer battery life.

Ever since I downloaded update 4.3, I don't have any external sound from the speakers. The phone rings fine and some sounds like the clock alarm works,
However I don't have any sound from any game app or apps like Pandora, I-Heart Radio etc. All apps work fine, when an external headset is plugged in.
I keep getting a message that says "THIS ACCESSORY IS NOT OPTIMIZED FOR THIS IPHONE. YOU MAY EXPERIENCE NOISE CAUSED BY CELLULAR INTERFERANCE AND A DECREASED IN CELLULAR SIGNAL STRENGTH.
I took the phone to the local Apple store and they said that it was the external phone jack. However when I took the phone in for repair, the technican said that it was a software problem.
I tried restoring my phone and it did not help. The repair tech said that I need to restore the software to a PRE 4.3 to verify that this will fix the problem.
The sound works fine when I plug in an external headset. The sound bars show up on the front screen. However when I remove the headphone, The sound bars no longer show up on the screen.

I have a similar issue. Sound works okay but keep getting the app not optimized, you may experience a decrease in celluar strength. Verizon says it is a software issue. Apple says it is a hardware. Phone will niot synch to itunes to do any kind of reset.

I've tried the black cloth. it's okay-- but i wind up have to attach something to the iMac--- and my clients are very sensitive to the things look here. i think it's petty-- but whatever. Also-- i have to constantly be taking it on/off as i make ajustments.
As far as turning around goes-- this is okay. I've tried it. the thing is-- your the way your ears receive sound-- is significantly different when you turn around. not drastically-- but again-- i'm talking about slight adjustments anyhow. any little difference can throw things off.
And the idea of a screen saver-- well-- here's the thing: when i'm trying to think only of music-- i don't even want to have to look at a computer screen. Imagine if you owned a nice pioneer 1970's stereo receiver and killer set of speakers. But everytime you were listening to it-- you had to look at a some sort of computer image. just not that pleasant.
comfort is pretty important to me at this point and that's kind of the whole goal. to still sit where i sit, look where i look, but not have to see a lit display on a computer screen.

now develop a server using ServerSocket and connect it in local IP and any PORT
For example i think ur server is connected in "localhost" and 9000 port.
Now make ur server educated using some commands.

When sharing screen from work with my home computer, is there any way to turn off the display at home?

Hi, sorry if this is a silly question, but when I'm viewing my desktop on the home computer from work (as in I've connected by finding my computer in the finder and hit the "Share Screen" button - is there any way to turn off the display at home? It seems a bit of a waste of power to have the screen on when I'm not actually there - I just need to be able to see all my programs etc on the remote screen in order to use them. My home computer is a 2011 iMac running latest Mountain Lion, work is a 2010 MacBook Pro.

I've set up another user on my home Mac and left that one logged in. Now when I connect from work it asks me if I want to share the screen or log on virtually as my user. I think choosing the second option doesn't power up the screen.

Pages keeps changing the font size! I typed a large heading as a title, and when I try to change to a smaller font for the body of the letter, it changes the size back to the larger size! I am getting SO FRUSTRATED! I've spent over an hour trying to get the stupid program to let me just type my letter! Can anyone help?

The only one left is the "unsubmitted text" dialogue, which would not be a problem if I were not a Facebook user; after updating the "Richard is..." field (which does not require a manual submit to actually send) I get the above message. This is obviously Safari just not realising that the info has been sent and is therefore (I imagine) one for Apple themselves to answer!!

Not being a Facebook User, I'm not sure how to respond to the error situation. However, this would be something to report to Apple as a bug via the Safari Menu. First, open to the page in question, then select "Report Bugs to Apple".

Go into ''Tools > Options > General > Startup:When Firefox starts:'' and configure it as you want (probably to show your home page?). This is the very first option that appears in the options screen, but I understand that it may not be very easy to find. Firefox 4 will not include any redesign to the options screen (except possibly it appearing in a tab, rather than in a popup), but you may interested to know that there are plans to redesign the options screen for versions after Firefox 4, to make it easier to use. If you want to know more about the redesign, just ask.
Anyway, if that doesn't help (it probably does, but just in case), it's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] (don't forget to select ''Disable all add-ons'' when you start safe mode). leave the phone in rice for >24 hours to see if it will recover
you can check itunes as well to see if there are backups there from the top of the screen hit edit (itunes on mac) > preferences > devices , and see if a backup is listed
also check icloud.com to see if you had any of the information backed up there (only possible if have have a 3gs or higher)
also there are data recovery companies that can recover data even from wrecked hard drives but its not cheap, if your interested in that I would say lookup a company called drivesavers, I believe they are authorized to work on even in warranty iphones
