Did you have FindMyPhone turned on in iCloud? If not report the loss to police, there is nothing Apple can do.

If you had previously been backing up to iCloud (or a computer with iTunes), you would possibly have a backup. That said, if you can't turn the phone on, you cannot create a backup of the device now. Sorry.

hardware (HD4000, USB 3.0, etc.) that is totally unsupported in old OSes.
The only option would be to see if it would work by installing in a virtual machine

That is not correct. The only way to find it is with Find My iPhone, as described earlier. -

hi, the app is not "shared", it works as if you bought the app twice with different accounts, only you paid it once. they should have 2 different villages since they're on 2 different devices.

I have a 3GS phone that can no longer be upgraded on my Powerbook because it is ancient and the os will only run 10.4.11, consequently iTunes will only upgrade to 9.2.1(4). Please don't answer that i need to upgrade the computer os because that has been a past nightmare i have been through too many times.
Is there any way i can upgrade the phone w/o going to an apple store so hereafter w/ the upgrade to the new os (whenever that gets squared away), i will not need a computer to do it?

Many ThanksOnly the contents of the most recent sync remain on the iPad, so if you want to sync multiple folders then you need to sync them in one go - in which case the folders will need to be directly off the same parent folder (otherwise they can't all be selected). Help! I have deleted my iphoto library. Is there any way to recover it? It is not in my trash as I emptied that.
If you really moved it to the Trash and emptied the Trash, your best option is to restore the iPhoto library from your backup.
But if you did not actually trash the library and it is just missing, search for it with Find Any File as described by Old Toad in this post: Re: iPhoto Library is missing. What do I do?
If you don't have a backup and cannot find the library, you will need to buy recovery software to find the photos, but that will not restore the library. -
I received some MMS messages a while back and have backe dup my phone since then. I now want to get these messages back, but they are obviously gone from my phone. Is there any way to retrieve them? I'm guessing no, but any input would be welcomed.

thanksYou can buy an application called Tune up Media and it will delete any dupicates and will organize your music the way you want it. It costs like $20 Hope that helps.
