Did you replace the HD yourself? If so what HD did you use?
You should be aware that the symptom you describe is likely to be because you've used an incompatible HD. The current Macs have the temperature sensor actually in the HD package, with a modified cable to connect to the logic board.
If the sensor is not in circuit, the fans will run full tilt all the time.
Also, if it was under warranty, I think you'll find you've just voided it.

Thank you both for your responses but my daughter was reassured by the salesman in the iStyle store (official Apple store in the UAE) that iMessages would work but conceded that FaceTime wouldn't. My iTunes account is registered in the uk and my daughter's iPhone has iMessages even though she bought it (and uses it) in Dubai. Can anyone else throw any light on this?

Hp slate 6 heating problem, network connectivity problem and now camera problem

Hello, I have using this tablet since last 4 month and after upgrading to kitkat there is phone heating problem and network connectivity problem getting started some time it will show network but during that we can not receiving or calling through it and even after put in flite mode it will not resume so have to restart several time. Now about 4 days ago kernal updating automaticaly in my phone so i happy that may shortout the all problems but rather than it will added one more problem which related to camera while goes in setting of camera it will automatically closed. I'm having trouble posting reviews or rating in the app store. Is there a problem right now?

I recently developed an application called NutriHOLIC and my customers are having problems submitting ratings and reviews. Additionally, when I tried to rate/review a different app in the store, upon pressing submit it returns back to the screen without a comment or rating. I tried pressing submit again and found my message was still there awaiting to be submitted. I did this 3-4 times and nothing different happend. Can someone shed some light on the subject, I really need my ratings and reviews to post from my customers. Is the app store having problems? I noticed iTunes Connect is not showing a proper displays as well.

With the iOS 7 update the alphabet scroll bar in the Music app disappeared. Is there anybody came across this problem or know how to get it back?

When syncing iPhone with my Mac via USB, it stuck on preparing to update when I started copying music, so I ejected it and plugged it in again. All the music was gone by then (sync manually is on). This time copying music worked.
Since then in the Music app's artists tab there is no alphabet scroll bar on the right; the separator letters are also gone.
Anybody experienced this? Is there a way to bring back the scroll bar?

hi this is a dumb phone!
So just use the Albums or Artists option to find the album or artist, and select your desired song from that. It's a lot faster than scrolling through a list of hundreds of songs or even using the scroll bar.
I've got about 500+ songs on my device, and I never use 'Songs' option. It's not even on my bottom quick icons in the Music app anymore.
Playlists Artists Albums Genres More is what I have on my bottom quick icons now.
With only 49 songs, you don't really need a scroll bar.

Anybody here successfully connect PlayStation 3 to iMac wirelessly?

I have internet sharing turned on. I have my wireless network set up using the iMac's built-in Airport Extreme Card. My PS3 can find my wireless network and it can obtain the IP address but it can not communicate with the server due to a DNS error.
Sony and Apple support could not help me. You all are my only hope. I know it can be done. I just need to find someone who has done it and is able to explain it to me.

My Laptop will not connect to itunes, saying there is an internet connection problem. This is not so as I can connect to other websites. I have Windows 7, but do have a new internet supplier! Can anyone help?

Internet is not working. Keeps saying "Loading" then "Cannot Open Page: Safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to the internet."
There are 5 bars & 3G showing plus the phone works great.
I tried turning off and rebooting which usually solves this problem but after 10 tries, nothing!

Yes, which my iPhone does.
I frequent a restaurant that is on the outskirts of AT&T's 3G network coverage area. Sometimes when I'm actively accessing the internet via 3G while in the restaurant, my iPhone will roll over to the EDGE network when the 3G connection is lost, and then back to 3G. The restaurant has a metal exterior which is probably a factor with the connection switching between the two. When I'm driving and leave a 3G network coverage area, my iPhone rolls over to the EDGE network.
