Is there anyone UK based that work with Digital Publishing Suite?

We're a creative agency that is requiring additional support to call upon when we're at capacity. We use DPS a lot and therefore it is essential for the type of work we're producing. Having had a thorough look on LinkedIn and other online facilities, I'm struggling to find freelancers that can work with this software. Is there anyone in a position to offer freelance support? Or at least point me in the direction of seeking this support?

Hi Ross
I work on my own, and work with a variety of agencies and clients
I clearly need to update my linkedin profile if I don't mention DPS! I've been working with DPS since the pre-release.
I'm based in Essex - not too far from Liverpool St.
I'll drop you a note to your email as well
Cheers
Alistair

Are there any standar iview that works with transaction Ad-hoc Query?

  • Are there Any Charting solutions that works with JDeveloper/ADF?

Are there any Charting solutions ( e.g. barchart, piecharts, etc) that works with JDeveloper / ADF ?

This question came up here once before. I think the conclusion is: No, not with vanilla ADF. However, if you're interested, the thread did mention some other library you might want to try.
    Good luck,

  • Is there a Drawing Tablet that works with iPad?

I have been looking all over for this and every search result pops up with "how to use iPad as a Drawing Tablet" which is what I don't want to know. I want to know if there is a drawing tablet that can function with iPad/iOS to provide a more accurate drawing and image editing experience. I know there are styli that work with iPad but I don't want to spend money on giant pens that look very innaccurate. I want to use the iPad as the display and the drawing tablet as the input.

It's unlikely to happen.  Instead, buy one of these non-giant devices:  http://justgosmart.com/stylus/

deggie is correct; BT only works with some headphones and keyboards. You'd have to invest in one of the 3rd party apps in the App Store to get your printing done.

  • Are there ANY firewire interfaces that work with 24" imac 2.16 Core 2 duo?

This is really getting frustrating. I have now tried and failed at getting both an m-audio profire lightbridge and a TC electronic studio konnekt 48 to work on this computer. Both interfaces were tested with Leopard and Tiger, no success.
My computer is NOT the aluminum imac, it's the earlier whiteface version, so it's supposed to have the TI chipset(I've been told that the aluminum imacs don't work because they have a agrere chipset....) The firewire port works fine with an external hard drive, but no one seems to be able to write software drivers that work.
If anyone is successfully running a firewire interface with this model computer please let me know what OS you are running, the interface, and what software you are using.
I'm starting to think that the problem is on apple's end, it shouldn't be this hard for third party manufacturers to write reliable drivers. both m-audio and tc electronic's forums are littered with complaints about bad drivers for the last year or so.

Yildox - I've been doing a little more research... Your imac has a known problem, it's the particular firewire chipset it uses, made by Agere. The older white versions have a Texas instruments chipset, which is supposed to be better, though I haven't had any success with mine so far in the audio interface department.
I really think that the problem is bigger than that though. Everyone having a problem with a firewire audio interface seems to have one similarity, a mac made in the last 2 years running OS 10.4.9 or later.

  • Is there a mail client that works with exchange 2003?

my company Exchange is 2003 and neither Outlook 2011 or Mail work. Is there a way to make either of these work without upgrading Exchange? Is there another email client that might work?
    Thanks

OSX's Mail uses the Exchange Web Services (EWS) protocol, which is only available on Exchange 2007 and later.  Outlook 2011 relies on OSX for connectivity to Exchange, so that is why Outlook 2011 doesn't work either.  As stated, if you can get your IR department to enable IMAP, you can get email funtionality.  (No calendar or contacts.)
There is Davmail.  I'm told that it's still a bit buggy, but AFAIK, it is the only thing that would do what you want.  As mentioned by Glenn, I also recommend that you suggest to the company to upgrade the version of Exchange, mostly due to Microsoft ending mainstream support for Exchange 2003 back in 2009 (with extended support only for SP2 for an indeterminate amound of time.)  As a bonus, Exchange 2010 supports Safari for OWA, which is a good indication that Microsoft is at least making attempts at better Mac support.

  • Are there any iphone 4s that work with GSM and CDMA and other carriers?where can i buy it?are apple going to produce it?

Need to buy this kind of iphone 4s that can work with all the carriers exist

It doesn't support any Bluetooth profile that a Remote would need. But if your audio system has the A2DP Bluetooth profile, or it could be added, you could connect via that method and just keep the Nano in your hand.

  • Is there a screen reader that works with Firefox 17.0??

FireVox does NOT work; even though it's listed as 'compatible' on your list of available screen readers. FireVox has not worked since 2008.
I'm looking for something like that. Something that just reads the text on the page. I used to use ML-FireVox. But, they had a server crash in the summer and are no longer available.
Now, with the new upgrade, I can't find anything that works without copying to the clipboard. That does not work when you're trying to read hundreds of items through Google Reader.
    Thanks.

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox to see if that makes your screen reader work.
*Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
