The FlexPMD project on Sourceforge looks abandoned. All the tickets are open and some comments are awaiting moderation since 2011. There are some images missing on some pages (Overview, Eclipse Plugin).

Ive just upgraded to Mountain lion, I was using Safari and tried to use iCloud tabs. When I open it up there are no tabs there, anyone have any ideas on how to get it working?
Can you check system update? I think I did a system Update 1st, a day before installing OSX Lion and there is a Safari update. If not try logging in iCloud.

If it is a Windows System then the error could be temporary. To resolve this, reboot the machine and try again or login as Administrator and try to backup using that account.

We're a creative agency that is requiring additional support to call upon when we're at capacity. We use DPS a lot and therefore it is essential for the type of work we're producing. Having had a thorough look on LinkedIn and other online facilities, I'm struggling to find freelancers that can work with this software. Is there anyone in a position to offer freelance support? Since Lion installation the remote control first generation, doesn't work as usually. On Leopard when I pushed the menu button, it opened a menu that showed music, films, photo. Now it doesn't work anymore. Is there anyone to explain me why this happen? Thank you.
Sadly Snow Leopard was the last OS X to have Front Row and it is no longer offered in Lion or Mountain.

Security settings changing. Is there a work around?

I work for a "Company" that has ten's of thousands computers loaded with the latest version of Adobe Reader X. Unfortunately when we create a form in Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro it cannot be signed by anyone using Adobe Reader X. Some how the security settings are changing when the form is open in Reader X. When the form is opened using Acrobat 9 Standard the form can be signed...the security settings have remain the same as when we built it in Pro. Is there a work around or something I have missed? This is a rather urgent issue as it will be effecting our whole "Company" and in the meantime we have been told to use another product until a solution is found. Your input is greatly appreciated!The usage rights must be enabled in Acrobat Pro.

My hard drive crashed on my macbook pro so i had a new one installed and they couldn't get my pictures off. I dont want to lose all my memories! They gave me back my old hard drive. Is there anyone that could help me?
I think how you understand the value of having backups. All you can do is:
General File Recovery
If you stop using the drive it's possible to recover deleted files that have not been overwritten by using recovery software such as MAC Data Recovery, Data Rescue II, File Salvage or TechTool Pro. Each of the preceding come on bootable CDs to enable usage without risk of writing more data to the hard drive. Two free alternatives are Disk Drill and TestDisk. Look for them and demos at MacUpdate or CNET Downloads. Recovery software usually provide trial versions that enable you to determine if the software would help before actually paying for it. Beyond this or if the drive has completely failed, then you would need to send the drive to a recovery service which is very expensive.
The longer the hard drive remains in use and data are written to it, the greater the risk your deleted files will be overwritten.

You will need an external enclosure for the old drive so you can connect it to the computer in order to try the recovery software before you buy it. But if they don't work then you will need to send the drive to a recovery service such as Drive Savers. -
Hi there! Yesterday, I installed Mavericks on my Macbook. Since then, it doesn't recognize my external hard disk drive anymore (at least not on the desktop. In Germany they call it "it doens't mount it". I don't know if it's the same expression in english?)
I just used it a week ago, before I did the update and it worked perfectly fine.
Is there anyone out there who knows a solution for this problem? I've been googleing for hours now and can't find any answer.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -
Is there anyone at verizon who can help? I was scammed!
Basically I called in to COMCAST to get my On Demand working and they talked me into buying a bundle. Part of which they said, I had to buy verizon wireless phones. I was told by this person that everything would come on my comcast bill and it would be about 167$ a month. Well I get my bill from comcast for almost 400 dollars and then one from verizon for 300. I went to comcast and verizon today. Comcast agreed to take 35 dollars off the bill, but that is it. And the employee at verizon refused to do anything what so ever to help. I will be honest, this has been a horrible month. My mom (who stays with me) was just diagnosed with lung cancer. It costs 40 bucks each time we see her doctor and 120 each chemo treatment. WE DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY FOR THIS. Is there anyone at verizon with a heart who could help? I don't know if the person who sold it works for both companies or what. But I was scammed. Comcast wont help anymore and a good hearted person at verizon is my only hope. We are basically getting the choice to either pay a phone bill or pay for my moms chemo. Obviously the answer is my mom. But having verizon work with me so there arn't major credit dings, would be a god send. I hate to beg, but please, someone help. I didn't know what else to do but post here. Sorry to sound melodramatic, but it is true. Please Help!

Is there anyone there? I hope there is someone who can you understand this problem and have the common sense to respond?
I open gmail. I want to save an email to one of my folders.
I position my cursor over the appropriate Folder icon or by choice, to the Trash.
The friendly finger pointing cursor icon changes to an arrow icon.
The hand icon allows me flawless access to opening and/or moving emails.
The arrow, however does not open the link.
On the Google menu bar the cursor hand with finger opens the links to Everett (my name), Search, Images, Maps and Play.
When I attempt to open the remaining links in the menu bar (YouTube, News, Gmail, Drive, Calendar and More) the arrow icon replaces the hand. The arrow icon does not work. It will not activate these links. Nor does it open email messages in the Inbox.
Usually I reset, even reboot Safire and sometimes the problem goes away, then reappears.
Can you imagine if this condition should it happen to a tech savvy Google Support person? Perhaps one can share and make my problem go away.
I am considering dropping Google as my mail source. Unfortunate!

IBM technician have changed the wireless card of my T60, the first few days after it was changed was very fine, no problem at all. About a week later, the problem occured again, and it happened quite frequently after that occurence. Now i really have no idea what is the cause and how to solve it. Will be greatful if there is anyone that can help me.

Just ordered the Fascinate for a penny from Amazon. Looks like that's all it's worth! LOL. Is there anyone who has not had problems with this phone! I have not received mine yet, maybe I'll be one of the lucky ones.
Should I do the update or stick with 2.1? Do I have a choice?2.2.1 is Froyo. The phone originally shipped with 2.1 Eclair. What is your Build number? I'm assuming it is not the ED04 (which you should avoid at all costs) since you were prompted to update.
Edit: Also, I don't know if it works the same way on the Fascinate, but on the Droid X (running unrooted stock software) you could only postpone the update for a certain period of time and then it would force the update without your approval. Broke a lot of people's X's that were previously running fine. Hope that doesn't happen to you but just letting you know it's possible. -

Is there anyone at all here who has successfully compiled and deployed an SSRS custom report item in VS2012? Is there a demo out there that actually works in VS2012? Is there anyone who has actually been able to compile and deploy that
apparently obsolete Polygons demo? (Pardon my impatience but I'm running a bit short of time here.)
After much hacking and googling I was able to get Polygons to compile but I still can't deploy it to the toolbox. ('The custom report item type PolygonsDesigner is not installed'). I've modified the RSReportDesigner.config
as instructed but I have no rssrvpolicy.config file on my local machine and
as yet I have no idea if that is necessary for local development.
In order to get it to compile I first added the reference C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies\Microsoft.ReportingServices.ProcessingCore.dll to both projects.
To the PolygonsDesigner Project I also added the references:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies\Microsoft.ReportDesigner.Controls.dll

It appears the documentation online is wrong and the sample code is missing a reference to a reporting services dll and an attribute.
What you need to do to get it working in VS2012 is add a reference to: Microsoft.ReportingServices.designer.11.0.dll to the PolygonsDesigner project and then add the following attribute to the PolygonsDesigner class: [ToolboxItem(typeof(Microsoft.ReportDesigner.Shell.CRIToolboxItem))]
I also removed the [System.CLSCompliant(false)] attribute.
You then recompile and place both dlls in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies directory and the PolygonsDesigner.dll into the C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS11.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportServer\bin
or what ever is you reporting services path.
You also need to change the Microsoft example for the rereportserver.config file to:
