Is there anything to figure out what has Updated the Rows?
Is there any way we can figure out what proceduce/sql script/user has updated a row ?
Regards,
Neeraj.
Hi,
If the table update was a recent operation (and there is no activity on the DB + you have big redo file), you could find the information in the redo file...

Once I downloaded the new IOS 5.0 I've lost all of my photos that were stored on my PC, and I no longer have access to them on the IPOD. Cannot figure out what has happened. Please help.
Thanks lllaass, but I am not computer literate and do not understand exactly what it is I am supposed to do. All of my photos were stored on Microsoft Windows Live Photo Gallery. When I now access the gallery the only thing that is there are the folders with the title of the folders. The pictures that were in those folders are now gone. I can no longer access them on my IPOD either. My photo library on my IPOD is now empty.
Thanks again for your help. -

I have a strange problem. When I put my iphone 4S into my pocket (pants or coat) and move it around, the phone makes a beep noise/tone. I can't figure out what is causing the noise. It doesn't sound like any of my regular applications. Maybe it is the lock noise but I can't tell for sure. More movement makes more beeps. Even walking with my phone in my pocket creates beeps. The IOS is 7.0.4 (11B554a). Anyone else have this crazy problem?
Try This...

I just downloaded the latest itunes and i cant figure out how to update my iphone apps on my computer now. I go to the toolbar on the top and press search for updates and it tells me that the latest version of itunes is already downloaded or that there are no updates available at this time. Previously, i would be able to go to the apps page on itunes and then press search for updates and then download all. Then I would sync with my phone and both phone and computer would be updated. Now I can only update on the phone and I know Im going to encounter where it tells me the info for downloading is too large to do it on your phone, hence my first question.....where do I go to update my apps on my computer????
While you're in itunes, with the leftside window open, click on Apps. Then, look across the top middle of your itunes screen. You will see several choices: All, Iphone/iPad Touch, Ipad, Ipod Games, List, and Updates.
Clicking on each of these gives you a different view.
When you select ALL you will see all of your apps. When you select Updates you sill see only the apps that need to be updated. When you are in Updates you will see the Update button in the lower right corner.
Hope this helps. -

Comn! Stop installing sh*t:
com.trendmicro.kext.KERedirect 1.0.0
com.paceap.kext.pacesupport.snowleopard 5.8
com.seagate.driver.PowSecLeafDriver_10_5 5.2.6
com.seagate.driver.PowSecDriverCore 5.2.6
Don't install software that interferes with your system, like drivers antivirus. This low level software if fails make your system down.
MacOs has everything you need its complete, it has backup systems, antivirus system, internet security, so no need for low level thing.
In safe mode your mac don't load all this sh*t and that's is why it runs.
In finder menu go / go to the folder paste this:
/Library/StartupItems/
This must be empty, delete everything you find there.
In finder menu go / go to the folder paste this:
/Library/Extensions/
This is what i have in that folder, it may vary depending of the mac hardware:
ATTOCelerityFC8.kext
ATTOExpressSASHBA2.kext
ATTOExpressSASRAID2.kext
ArcMSR.kext
CalDigitHDProDrv.kext
HighPointIOP.kext
HighPointRR.kext
PromiseSTEX.kext
SoftRAID.kext
If you see something with resemblance to trend micro, pace or seagate, trash it.
Trash everything inside this 3 folders:
/Library/LaunchAgents/
~/Library/LaunchAgents/
/Library/LaunchDaemons/
If you keep not finding the ofending software, look in this folders, but with care, this are core system files so if you trash something needed you must reinstall the OS:
/System/Library/Extensions/
I have 226 extensions there.
/System/Library/LaunchAgents/

I need help! Can't seem to figure out how to update the captions in my imageViewer
I am creating an image viewer in which needs to update photos and update captions with next and previous features. I got the next, previous and image update to work. However, I am stuck on the captions. This is my code:
I have a main.as:
public class Main extends Sprite
private var _iv:ImageViewer;
private var _pictureList:Array;
private var _currentPicture:int;
private var _xmlData:XML;
public function Main()
var urlLoader:URLLoader=new URLLoader();
urlLoader.load(new URLRequest("xml/imageload.xml"));
urlLoader.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, onParse);
_iv=new ImageViewer();
_iv.path="images/";
_iv.imageList=["dogs1.jpg", "dogs2.jpg", "dogs3.jpg"];
_iv.display();
_iv.x = 110;
_iv.y = 10;
this.addChild(_iv);
var imageCaption:tfCaption = new tfCaption();
imageCaption.x = 140;
imageCaption.y = 350;
this.addChild(imageCaption);
var nextImage:NextButton = new NextButton();
nextImage.x = 445;
nextImage.y = 350;
nextImage.buttonMode = true;
this.addChild(nextImage);
nextImage.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, onNext);
var prevImage:PreviousButton = new PreviousButton();
prevImage.x = 105;
prevImage.y = 350;
prevImage.buttonMode = true;
this.addChild(prevImage);
prevImage.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, onPrev);

_pictureList.push(vo);
var _currentPicture:int = 0;
private function onNext(e:MouseEvent):void
_iv.next();
private function onPrev(e:MouseEvent):void

i have a imageLoader.as:

Can anyone help me?
Many thanks in advance!is there more than one _xmlData.pic.caption node in your xml?
if yes, the following should be tracing more than one caption:
for each(var pic:XML in _xmlData.pic)
var vo:PicVO=new PicVO();
vo.file = pic.file;
vo.caption = pic.caption;
trace(pic.caption);
_pictureList.push(vo);
if it does not, you probably have a malformatted xml.
if you can't easily find the problem, copy and paste your xml. -
Local hostname already in use - can't figure out what's going on
I've been having issues with a wireless router and I think the problem lies somewhere within my computer. As I switch back and forth from trying to connect to the internet via my router or directly connected to my cable modem, I will often get this error:
"This computer's local hostname "xyz" is already in use on this network"
There is only one compuer on the network, however and I cannot figure out what's going on.
I have 2 users set up on this machine, but I'm the admin and acting as such. Even with no other networked equipment hooked up to my Mac (except for the cable modem) this problem won't go away.
I guess my real quesiton is what causes this and where should I go to troubleshoot things?
I'm running 10.4.6, connect to my ISP using DHCP and have the same problem with both a D-Link and Linksys router.
Any ideas?
Thanks!Thanks very much for your help, fu.
If your previous setup follows a flow like this: RCA
CableModem-->NetGear Router-->AirPortExpress, there's
something misconfigured routing-wise in your network.
You have to decide which device (Netgear or AirPort
Xpress) will handle the routing in your network.
Previous to these problems, that was the basic flow of my network. The netgear router also fed a wired connection into a Wintel PC, and the AirPort Express hosted a wireless network that was extended by a second Airport Express. And that second AE connected to a ReplayTV with a wired connection. And then, of course, the PowerBook got Internet access wirelessly through the AE-hosted network. And that was it.
That network always was configured so that the netgear router assigned IP addresses using DHCP, and the Airport Expresses would not assign IP addresses (i.e., "Distribute IP addresses" was NOT checked when you look at the configuration in Airport Admin Utility).
How big is your network j? just 1 Mac (your
PowerBook)?
That was the state of the network a couple of days ago when I posted this. I have established that the PowerBook gets access to the Internet just fine directly though the cable modem, and just fine when it is the only wired connection to the router.
Let's deal with your Mac first:
Start with your Mac connected directly to the cable
Modem. (When your mac is attached directly to the
Cable Modem, do you use DHCP?)
Go to SystemPreferences-->Sharing and type a Computer
Name other than the default one
Open Applications-->Utilities-->Terminal and type
lookupd -flushcache (press Return) and reboot
the Mac.
I did this.
One way to fix your network is to have the NetGear do
the routing, and the AirPort Express to (just) extend
your (wired) network wirelessly (No routing will be
done from the AirPortXPress, (No distribution of IP
Addresses)
I soft reset both of my Airport Expresses. I configured the first one so that it was hosting a network, but not distributing IP addresses, and the second so that it was extending that wireless network. And I plugged the host AE into the netgear router. And for a little while, that was working.
But then I got a message saying "IP Configuration 192.168.0.4 in use by 00:04:40:06:1f:82, DHCP Server 192.168.0.1". The dialog box with that message will come up periodically as long as the Airport Expresses are plugged into power and one is plugged into the router. Also, I once agaiin received the message saying the local hostname (the completely original one that I had created) was in use, and the name was being changed.
Here is the thing. I cannot figure out what has that ...0.4 IP address and ...1f:82 MAC address on the network. That is not the "Internet port MAC address" or the "LAN port MAC address" for the Netgear router. It is also not the MAC address for either of the Airport Expresses or the PowerBook's internal Ethernet card.
I accessed the router through my browser, and clicked on "Attached Devices." Here is the list of Attached Devices:
# IP Address Device Name MAC Address
1 192.168.0.2 00:11:24:08:4c:88
2 192.168.0.3 00:14:51:6d:15:7c
3 192.168.0.5 00:0a:95:da:4f:24
The first two addresses are the two AE's, and the third is the internal Ethernet card of the PowerBook.
I ran "Netstat" under the Network Utility to get "Routing Table Information," and here is what I get (with some identifying info removed):

My iPad says it has to restore to update, but it will not. It is caught in a cycle of not being able to restore but needed to restore. I keep getting error code 3014 but I can not figure out what this means! nor can I do anything about it! So Frutrated!

But... if the Device has been Modified... this will Not necessarily work. -
Is there a way to figure out what the current thread is?
I've got the following snippet of code:
// create a new thread. If the current thread is not this new thread, return
Thread CountDownThread = new Thread("CountDownThread");
CountDownThread.start();
if (/*CURRENT THREAD*/.getName() != CountDownThread.getName()) {
System.out.println ("I'm not CountDownThread. I'm leaving.");
return;
// current thread should be new thread. Therefore start the countdown
CurrTime = InitTime;
while(CurrTime.charAt(0) != '-') { // go until current time is negative
CurrTime = C.countDown(); // returns the current time based on the difference between the initial and elapsed time
setText(CurrTime); // display current time in JLabel
C.reset();
setText(C.getCurrTime());What I'm trying to do is get a clock (C) to count down and display the time remaining in a JLabel (this snippet is taken from a method within that very JLabel which I'm extending from javax.swing.JLabel). While it's counting down, I'd like for the program to go off and do other things. Therefore, I'm trying to create a new thread that carries out the task of counting down while the original/main thread moves on to do other things.
Please have a look at the above code and tell me if I'm on the right track. The one thing I don't know how to do is figure out how to tell which thread the current thread is. I'm assuming that both the new thread and original/main one will execute the if statement, the new one after it returns from start() (which I haven't defined). The original/main one will detect that it is not the new thread and return, whereas the new thread will and go on to the while loop. In the while loop, it will count down the clock until it reaches 0, after which point it will reset it and die.
If I'm on the right track, all I need to know is how to detect which thread is currently executing. If I'm not on the right track, what would be the best way to do this?What? No! No Thread terminates on the return of start(). Those two events are unrelated!Uh... I think you misunderstood what I said.
I didn't say that CountDownThread terminates upon returning from start() (which is what it sounds like you interpreted from me); I said that the thread that CountDownThread creates terminates once CountDownThread returns from start() (i.e. like any other local variable/object). This, of course, assumes that CountDownThread has a Runnable object on which to call its run() method (am I right?), in which case my code above doesn't create a new thread at all (i.e. CountDownThread.start() is executed within the main/original thread) - am I right?
No, run() doesn't call start()! That would be stupid.Again, you misunderstood. I shouldn't need to explain this one. A simple reference to an ordinary dictionary on the words 'former' and 'latter' should suffice :)
Anyway, all joking aside, I have now improved my code and it works! Here's what it looks like:
ClockJLabel.java
package MazeMania.clock;
public class ClockJLabel extends javax.swing.JLabel {
private Clock C;
private ClockJLabelsRunnable CJLR;
public ClockJLabel() {
C = new Clock();
CJLR = new ClockJLabelsRunnable();
setText(C.getCurrTime()); // should be 00:00:00:00
setHorizontalAlignment(javax.swing.SwingConstants.CENTER);
// need to figure out how to set the size so that it sticks
setForeground(new java.awt.Color(255, 0, 0));
setBackground(new java.awt.Color(0, 0, 0));
setOpaque(true);
// starts the clock counting up indefinitely from 0
public void start() {
(new Thread(new Runnable() {
public void run() {
while(true) setText(C.getElapsedTime());
})).start();
//System.out.println("Started clock...");
// starts the clock counting down from an initial time and runs this count down in a separate thread
public void countDown(String InitTime) {
// initialize the clock
try {C.initClock(InitTime);}
catch(java.text.ParseException PE) {
System.out.println(PE.getMessage());
// initialize JLabel's display
setText(C.getCurrTime());
// prepare Runnable and give it to new Thread. New Thread starts count down.
CJLR.task = CJLR.COUNTDOWN;
CJLR.CJL = this;
Thread CountDownThread = new Thread(CJLR);
CountDownThread.start();
public Clock getClock() {
return C;
}ClockJLabelsRunnable
package MazeMania.clock;
import java.lang.Runnable;
class ClockJLabelsRunnable implements Runnable {
public static int COUNTDOWN = 1;
public static int COUNTUP = 2;
// NOTE: this Runnable doesn't test for the proper setting of these variables
public int task = 0;
public ClockJLabel CJL = null;
public void run() {
Clock C = CJL.getClock();
while(C.countDown().charAt(0) != '-') {CJL.setText(C.getCurrTime());}
C.reset();
CJL.setText(C.getCurrTime()); -
my hard drive suddenly went from 52 gigs free to 22 gigs- is there any way to figure out what happened?
Perhaps this may be of help...
Where did my Disk Space go? -
There is a pattern to my crashes, but I can't figure out what it is...
At my studio, we are running 2 separate rigs with Logic 8.0.2 on 10.5.6 Mac Pros, and we have been plagued by crashing/hanging when opening up sequences. It is maddeningly inconsistent, however, and I can't figure out a pattern to the crashes (occasionally fine, other times awful).
The one pattern I can decipher seems to be from the crash reports - often the very first (chronologically last before the crash took place) three lines look like this:
00001000 /Applications/Logic Pro.app/Contents/MacOS/Logic Pro
017c1000 /Applications/Logic Pro.app/Contents/MacOS/../Frameworks/XSKey.framework/Versions/A/XSKey
017ed000 /Applications/Logic Pro.app/Contents/MacOS/../Frameworks/XAudioUnits.framework/Versions/A/XAudioUni ts
Now do any kind souls have any idea what these XSKey & XAudioUnits files/processes are? I can access them directly by examining logic 8's package contents, and I am wondering if one or both of those may be corrupted and need to be somehow replaced. But I would rather get any of your thoughts before I go crawling around in areas I am unfamiliar with.
So any ideas? Anyone?Hi
This any use?

I uninstalled and reinstalled but the program still won't open. I was trying to download an mp3 file last evening. Instead the site tried to install a new audio player. I did not want it so uninstalled it immediately. I think in that process something was deleted that I need for iTunes but I do not know what. How do i figure out what is gone and recover it?
I did try a system restore - but that was not a fix either.I was trying to download an mp3 file last evening. Instead the site tried to install a new audio player.
Ackk ... that behavior is consistent with the play_mp3.exe trojan:

Try downloading and installing the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware. Update your MBAM definitions and then run a full scan of the PC. (Takes about 2 hour on my Lenovo.)

Does the scan find any infections? If so, please paste the contents of the log file for the scan in a reply here so we can have a look. -
I purchased a ITunes gift card at Hastings. When we tried to load it, is was not able to load b/c it had already been redeemed. I have tried to look on the site to figure out what to do since the store said they could do nothing.

Lumia 920: Still trying to figure out what the pro...
Aside from being very upset about Nokia's not allowing updates for the unbranded 920s, I'm still trying to figure out what the problem is with my camera...
I had nearly a perfect working phone one and a half week ago. Even though the battery didn't last well and heated up somehow and there are gliches with some apps, the phone and its original apps worked without problem. Once the battery died in the middle of the night but I thought that it was because I didn't plug the charger well enough, it's a little loose anyway. I read about the freezes and restarts in different forums and was wondering what people were talking about, since I didn't have any such kind of problems. I felt myself being lucky.
Then I got some app updates (Nokia drive+ and a few others), and ever since then my camera hasn't worked properly. When I open the camera app or click the camera button nine out of ten times it just goes back to the home screen or else it freeze the phone. I have tried soft resets and restarts but they mostly don't work, or they might work long enough to take a couple of photos and then stop working, or otherwise it freeze the phone and need to soft reset it. There is no pattens as to when it works and when it doesn't. I have also tried to uninstall some apps but it seemed to have no effect on the condition of the phone. Every app that utilizes the camera won't work ( camera won't work but other functions work), flashlight app won't work.
Today I decided to hard reset the phone. It's surprisingly easy procedure that took less than 10 min. I did my first hard reset and chose to use my phone's backup files from Skydrive and it went fine, except it didn't do anything to the camera, i.e. it didn't work. My second hard reset I chose to "start from clean table" (or something of such) without any apps installed, and also disabled the automatic update but it didn't do anything either, no working camera. I did the same procedure once more just in case I did something wrong, but it didn't work. The fourth hard reset I restored from Skydrive to have (mostly) everything in order. No working camera either but almost everything else works now.
It puzzles me. I'd though that if the reason of camera not working is some app updates then start from the clean table would have resloved it. Even after hard reset using camera at the very first possible chance didn't succeed: it worked for a very short moment before it froze the phone, just like before resetting. If I can keep myself from touching the camera the phone itself works (aside from maybe once or twice restartd itself, very rarely anyway). Now I have a phone with a camera I can't use and I don't have a clue what the problem is. I don't think that there are hardware problems because the camera *worked*, and I don't believe that software updates can break it hardware-wise. I have thought of changing it but who can promise that I'll get a phone that works better. Probably I should wait for Microsoft's/Nokia's updates, it just feels like they never come...hi mate,
Sorry to hear you are having such a rough time with your 920. In this case, it might be best to take your phone back to your point of purchase and ask for a replacement, and if they are being less than helpful, to take it to your local Nokia Care point instead: http://nokia.com/support
I can certainly empathise with you, as a lot of the issues you describe are apparently fixed by the Portico update by Microsoft that was released yesterday to AT&T and Rogers devices but not the rest of the Lumia Windows Phone 8 range unfortunately. Bit of a wait, but hopefully not too long until the update hits.
