I have 2nd gen iPod nano with songs from iTunes but also burnt from CDs. I now have a new laptop currently without iTunes or any music on. Is there anyway for me to connect the iPod to iTunes on the laptop and not loose all of the songs on it?

I have an ipod touch 2 and i need to balance the sound for a couple of sets of my earphones, a set of SOL republic sound canceling earphones and a set of earpods, I know that the ipod touch 2 only goes to iOS 4.2.1 and the setting for the l/r sound balancing didn't get released until 5.0.1 so I want to know if there is an app that might let me balance the sound yet still access my entire music library?

I know of no such app since Apple would not let one app control another app.

(Being sarcastic - its because only the US is big or important enough to warrant volume licensing....)
At this time, until Apple decides to release volume licensing structures outside of the US the only solution would be to use your purchase orders with a company that sells the iTunes Vouchers and redeem those.
However - even then its hard to stay on the right side of the EULA when the terms are all couched in reference to "Personal Use"
I have spoken to some developers in the past about educational discounts, or even support for proxies, and wasn't really impressed with their answers. I don't care if the client text/image editing and updating doesn't update in my Adobe Muse, as long as my client can update the text online.
Please help me answer this question, I have used adobe for decades (2) and am a print designer. I want to use Muse for websites but if my clients can't update text and images, I don't see how I can make it work.

At the moment you can't using Muse's widgets, though you can insert html! So, you could have photo galleries linked to flickr that the client can update to, for example. I'm sure there are other options for slicker slideshows that can be updated client side!

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

The master files are stored on your drive, but they are not actually stored "in" any folder. Folders are really just special files that store various bits of information about the files associated with that folder, including links to where they actually are stored. My guess is Apple is using hard links for this, which means the actual master files will not be deleted from the file system as long as at least one link remains to each of them.
So you should be safe in deleting the old iPhotos Library once you are absolutely sure you don't need it, but to be sure, if it was me I would make a backup just in case, or better yet just leave it alone.
