I had my screen fixed by the manufacturer and they, for some reason, also replaced my hard drive. Is there anyway I can transfer my ipod's songs, ect to my computer?
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer files/docs/pics/music.
Use your backup copy to put them back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases:
Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
Other than itunes purchases, the music sync is one way - computer to ipod.

Anyone know if I can transfer my playlist from iphone to Itunes on my laptop.

I would turn off the automatic syncing so that way you can see what is on your iPhone. From there, you should be able to see what is on your iPhone and then can export out the playlists and then import them back to your library. I would also recommend backing up your iPhone before going through with this process. To export a playlist, have it highlighted then go to File > Library > Export Playlist…

Open iTunes Preferences and select the Devices tab. Select the option to prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically.

Bought an album off iTunes and two songs from the album will not download. Is there anyway to make them force load or anything along those lines? The Album is Sunshower-EP by UME and the songs are The Conductor and The Means.

iTunes can not find the music that was down loaded form the iTunes store. Why? Where is it locateded? They are there and play for a short while then they disappear. Why? What is happening to the songs that I have down loaded????? Anything that I import form a cd is still there!

Homesharing gives you the option of seeing only the content in the shared library, that is not already in your own library. -

Plug your phone into the wall charger for at least 30 minutes...make sure you have a sim card in the phone...then:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new.
Make sure you have no anti-virus software running or any firewalls...turn all of that stuff off. -

My itunes store will not load. There are no error messages. It loads half way, then stops. My internet is working fine. I can't download any songs.
There are at least 20 threads pertaining to this problem (some from last year, one I saw was from 2006). i just upgraded my pc to windows 7 and itunes to 10.4.1, but i can't see the menu items at the top left of itunes. they are there, because if i move my mouse over the area where they should be, i see and can select from the drop down menus. this problem also affects my music library; i cannot see the individual song names/artists/etc, but if i double click on the blank line it does play the song. the app library and video library seem OK, only the music library is a problem. also, when i connect my iphone, it recognizes it, but the main screen for my device has no words on it, just a picture of the phone.
Hi, Sanjiv - My son fixed this problem for me by showing me that in addition to the visible volume slider at the top left of the iTunes window you also need to pull down the blue airplay menu right alongside that volume slider (the little blue box with the triangle). When you pull down that menu you will see volume settings for "computer" which controls the built-in speakers, plus a list of the other external speakers you may have set up using Airport. When I did that I saw that the volume on "computer" was right down at zero levl even though the main iTunes slider was at full level. When I selected the "computer" under "single" or "multiple" options and adjusted the volume it came back up. It worked for me, I hope it solves your issue too. Best, John.
