Is there anyway to blend two videos with iMovies

i was editing some videos using imovies, however, i couldnt figure out how to blend two videos together so that i dont have the gap or transitional space between the two individual video groups. please help me with this matter. i just want to know if it is possoble to that and how to do it.

I am working with Adobe Premiere 6 on a Windows 7 machine.
How can I blend two video clips where they join side by side in one movie?
I know how to place two or more video clips together in the same movie, but how can I give them a bit of a blend just where they join?
I have a PDF instruction manual and the built-in web browser instructions. In the instruction manual in "Chapter 7: Superimposing and Compositing" it talks about the transparency of any video clip, and I understand that... but I don't want to make one or the other video clip transparent anyplace except where the two video clips join together with perhaps a bit of overlap.
I'd like to make a little blur just where the two videos join in the middle... is this possible?

Aha that kind of blending.
Have not used 6.5 in a loooooooong time.
So this is from memory, hope i get this right.
Set the two clip on top of each other
Make a matte in Photoshop and superimpose this over the two clips.
Go to the Transparancy Settings and set the top clip in video 2 to Alpha key.

The right side is made black just for the forum but should be transparant.

If Firefox is not the default browser is there anyway to create an "Open with Firefox" right click option for internet icons on the desktop??

When internet icons on the desktop are right clicked and Firefox is not the default browser, is there anyway to create an "Open with Firefox" option in the right click menu? If not you should create one in future versions.

You will have to create a copy of the Firefox desktop shortcut and add the URL to the target line if you want to open such an internet shortcut with Firefox.
A normal internet shortcut will always open in the default browser.

Is there anyway to import dvd video to the computer?about area code?

I was trying to watch a japanese DVD that i bought long time ago with the computer, and the dvd player that was installed on the computer said that the since the area code of the dvd is different, i had to change the player's code to number 2, and i would have only 4 opportunities to change the area code. Is there anyway i could import the video file to the mac so i won't have to put the dvd in and use up my opportunity to change the area code? or is there anyway to increase the number of opportunities to change the area code?
i know that this question is not related to idvd program-.-but couldn't find anyhere to post tis question. thanks!!!!!

Unforunately, your answers are no and no. The only course you have is to change the settings and rip the DVD then change settings back, but you will lesson the opportunities to change. There is no way that I know of to increase the number of times you can change the settings, unless there is a hack somewhere, but this is not the forum to find one. You can burn the ripped DVD through Toast's copy function (if you have a DVD burner, of course) and this will make it region free.
I'm afraid there's no good news here.

TS4185 i signed into face time with an inactive email accidentally and i can't verify the email because I can't get into it. Is there anyway to restart the process with a different email address so that I can verify it and begin using it.

I tried to start face time and it said that it would send an email to the address provided but i didn't realize that the email address there was an inactive one and now i cant use face time since i havent verified it yet. I was trying to see if there was a way to restart the process so that i can get that email sent to the corrent email address that i actually use.

If there is no other way around this, is there anyway to completely wipe the phone then??
The Apple store agreed to give me a new iPhone 4 as a warranty replacement for $150 (I travel a lot and I have a factory unlocked phone, so this is still worth it for me). But before I trade it in, I would like to make sure all my data is backed up on the device first.
When I try and restore the phone now on iTunes, it says I have to turn off Find My iPhone on the phone first before I can restore it. Now since I can't use the screen I can't really do that.
So how do I completely wipe the iPhone???

Once the subform is created you can use the subformName.fillcolor to set a background color on the subform. Note that you will not be able to do this until the subform exists (after the script that creates it has completed).

TS4036 Is there anyway to backup my iPhone with iCloud directly on my computer?

My iPhone screen is broken and I can't access my iCloud backup settings on there. Is there anyway I can do it via my computer?

Sorry, didn't realize you were trying to access you settings via your computer to enable backing up to iCloud. But now that you have a backup on your computer is there a reason that you want to back up to iCloud too? I assumed you were trying to back up your phone prior to having it fixed or replaced. You can use the backup you made in iTunes now to restore from if you need to get your phone repaired or replace.
If you still want to turn on iCloud backup you can connect your phone to iTunes, click on the name of your phone on the left side, go to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings, under Backup select "Back up to iCloud", then sync your phone. I believe this will turn on iCloud backup on your phone. I'm not completely sure as I turned in on in Settings. After doing this, you can connect it to your charger and wi-fi and hope that it's backing up to iCloud. Unfortunately there's no way to be sure since you can't access Settings on your phone to verify that it backed up to iCloud successfully. That's why the safest thing to do at this point is back up in iTunes; that way you know it backed up.

I edited a video with iMovie but I can not burn it to DVD because I get an "error" answer number 49!How may I correct this?

I took the video with my iPAD 2 then I send it to my Macbook through iTunes and edited the movie. Now everything is ready to be put on a DVD but I tryed to "finalise"but could get there because once for an error number 50, then I tryed to export it and got another error 49 ... I would like to put it on a DVD beore this saterday because the family is going back home and wold lke to have the movie of their just born baby at home.
Can somebody help me?

Can there be any external hard disks - if so How is/are it/they formatted ? Must be Mac OS Extended (hfs) if used for Video.

I fixed the problem.. but it was very, very strange. I had a very long section for credits and set the line spacing to 1.0.. for some reason this caused it. I removed it, and it worked fine. I put it back, and I couldn't preview or play the video.
I don't know why that could cause that big of a problem, but it did..

After phone support from apple I ended up creating a new project and adding all 117 clips back in individually till I found out what clips flagged and would not allow me to export. I had 3 I deleted and replaced and everything works now 1hr after tedious work....
Where do Your material come from
• Camera
• External hard disk
• USB-memory
And all are connected so that iMovie can find it ?

How do I rotate Aperture videos with iMovie ?

Hi;
I have some videos stored inside the Aperture library, which are flipped 90 degrees. When I right click on the video I want to rotate, I have the contextual menu wich says ... Modify with iMovie... (this is actually the translation since I use french version of Aperture).
Clicking on it open iMovie, then I find the video I want to rotate (quite easy..), I do it.
and THEN ?
How do I find back into Aperture the edited video ? Should I re-import it ?

Well, it seems I have no choice. I already tried the export from iMovie to desktop, then back to Aperture and it worked fine. It is just not very convenient. (I use small video clips of golf swings, so I have sometimes to rotate 20 or mode videos).
To answer to Kirby, I tried also to make some minor changes instead of just rotating the video. Didn't work anyway.
My initial motivation was that I have seen this ...edit with iMovie.. in the contextual menu of Aperture; I expected a true user-friendly command, but it wasn't.

Ability to Rotate Video with iMovie?

I tried searching but could not find anything specifically addressing this. Is there a way to rotate portions of a video that transition from landscape to portrait with iMovie? I have not been able to find this setting within iMovie or normal video player. Any input would be appreciated.

This is the forum for iMovie iOS; iPads, iPhone, iPods.

I had a video on my computer a while ago and i posted it on youtube. since then, i have been deleting unwanted files on my computer, and i accidentally deleted this video. how do i get this video onto my computer?
i eventually need to burn the video onto a DVD, so the file format needs to be compatible with iMovie.
