Is there anyway to exchange 3 week old rMBP with the new model that just came out.

I bought a 13-inch rMBP on 17.02.2015 and the new rMBP was released today, so 3 weeks have passed. Is there any possibility that I can exchange mine for the new one?

If you purchased your current MBP directly from Apple, you have 14 days to return it for an exchange or refund. You are past that.

After contacting Apple, I received a reply from their engineers:
Copy QTMovieWin.dll from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
And that did the trick.

Compare an old report with the new one

i have saved a report in Answers. Then in my cube data are changed. In Answers i re-submit request and save new report with new data. Now I would compare two reports. But when i open old report, data shown are new. So I have two identical reports. How can I compare an old report with the new one? Thanks
Giancarlook then why don't you create two distinct reports but each with different filter value on the time column.

If I Change my apple ID and email, will I be able to access my old purchases with the new apple id?
After opening the email it shoud of had you enter the Apple ID and password. Using certian web browser's can cause errors. You can adjust securty settings (big pain) or you use another browser. Using Firefox or Safari should do the trick.
Let me know if using Firefox or Safari resolved it. -

Can I exchange my five-day-old MBP for the newer model?

Friday before last I ordered a new 13" MacBook Pro, and I received it in the mail last Thursday. I've been using it and I love it. However, today Apple released the new MBP's with slightly better processors and graphics. The one I already have is still in near-perfect condition, as I've only had it for five days. Would I be able to send it back to Apple and exchange it for the newer model? If so, would it cost me anything... and would the increased performance be noticeable enough to be worth the cost and trouble?
Aside from web browsing and other general stuff, I use my MacBook for design programs like Adobe Creative Suite. If I do end up being able to do some kind of exchange, I'll almost certainly go for the 2.4 GHz 13".

I Updated my Iphone 5 and now it will not play or display in my car. I use the apple hotwire to USB to charge and play music in my car. It worked before the update. Is there a setting in the new software that needs adjusting ?
I have a similar problem. Prior to the 7.0.3 update my iPod touch worked properly and I could see the music folders, playlists and music lists. However, after the update it no longer works - I cannot see the playlists, the names are blank.
I do not believe your response properly answers the issue at hand. If the iPod worked properly before the update then it should work properly afterward. With the response and link above it appears it is Apple's stance that it is the radio manufacturer to make the radio work with every update. That is backwards and, in my opinion, irresponsible.
It should be Apples responsibility to make sure that the functionality of the device is the same both before and after an update. If they cannot do that then they should make it easy for the user to downgrade or uninstall the update to regain the previous functionality, at least until Apple can resolve the issue their update created.

Exchanging 3 week old iPad for the iPad Air..?
My iPad 1 finally died about three weeks ago and I use it for work daily so I had to pick up a new iPad at that time.
Three weeks later and it's already a generation behind. lol
Does anyone know if Apple would let me return or exchange it for the iPad Air when it comes out next week?
ThanksThe exchange period has been extended in the past. IIRC, there were instances of 'return this for a credit that can be used towards the purchase of....', but only apple knows if they will do that with this release.

Is there anyway to import and edit 1080p50 video on the new iPad?
I've had a look around and I can't see any apps that allow this. I have a Panasonic SD900 which shoots AVCHD at 1080p50 and would really like to know if there's any way of getting those *.m2ts files onto the new iPad and then editing them.

Can iTunes convert a file and replace the old file with the new one?
I am trying to convert my wav files to Apple Lossless to save some space. How can I convert the files and make them replace the old files? Right now it just converts new files so that I end up with two files. I have thousands I want to convert and just replace the old ones.
I have an external program that will do it for me, however if I go that route then when my ITunes files are converted to lossless files I need to re-link the files as they show up with the ! showing they are missing. That would mean manually re-linking every song, which would take forever unless there is a way to mass re-link all the files.iTunes does not see the newly created files as the same file because they are not the same file. They are new, different files. If you have a track that is 1234.wav and you create 1234.mp3 it simply isn't the same file and you can't trick iTunes into thinking it is. iTunes will handle it as a brand new file.
Check Dougscripts web site for scripts which help modifying tag data. However, I suspect you won't find any doing exactly what you want doing. Some tag data are only accessible by iTunes itself.
As for playlists, there's things you can try though they may be more effort than they are worth. For example, you could add a special code for each playlist to some element of a tag (e.g., grouping). Convert the file, then make a smart playlist selecting for the code you added to the group of tracks in the old playlist. If you have hundreds of playlists with a dozen tracks each this will be a grand nuisance. If it is a handful of playlists with hundreds of tracks each this might be worth it.
Another way to preserve playlists would be to edit the .xml copy of the iTunes library file, replacing ".wav" with ".mp3" or whatever format you are using. However, this won't help with play counts because that is only stored in the .itl copy of the file which you cannot edit. -

Yes... and not: Technology is always moving forward, of course. But is rare that new and more performant products are cheaper than previous ones. When that happens, some companies decide to give updates (with softwares) or some gifts to the last buyers of the previous version (I remember that happened once with the iphone, when Apple decided to give some money back to people that bought the previeus version in the previous 2 months). In my case it came out 3 weeks after I bought it, then no possible return for me. However thanks for the answer! of course is not a big deal...
