hi, is there any way to get the music from my ipod and put it onto itunes on a different computer? i mean diffrent computer as in i use 2 computers and want to get music off one to another... please help...

First, you would need to make a backup of the entire iTunes folder on the PC. You could get music to the iPad if the PC was still functioning, or you would have to move the music to another computer. An iPad is not a laptop, and does not have a port to plug an external drive into. You can sync music to the iPad from the computer, but you are correct, unless you get iTunes Match, you would need a computer to copy the music to and then sync to an iPad.

Not direclty, but if your hardware supports AirPlay you can run the visualizer on your Mac and display the desktop on ATV.

They don't have the music on their computer so they cannot transfer the iTunes folder, from the computer to their iPod and then to the new computer. And if they try to enable disk use on the iPod it will erase all the music that is on it. The method you cited is moving the files in a data format using the iPod as a flash drive. It doesn't work if they are in music format. That is why I suggested Yamipod.

Use the backup of your computer and put the songs back on. If these are iTunes songs you can download them again on your computer and sync the nano.

One has to assume the music on your iPod is in your iTunes music library? From there, it's simple. Simply connect your iPad to iTunes, and after it synchs (you can cancel the synch if you don't want to synch), then click on the iPad on the left hand side. Your device will be up on the screen.
