you can re-number files as you import
you may need to a test of a few un-important files
click the re-name file panel >>tick>>template>>click on arrows>>edit and that will take you the customize panel
add image name like "img"
then add numbering I have only used the first one (import)
make sure you add two "00" so they stay in order
should look like img-001
bugga of a number tool imo; bridge is easier/better
you could also rename in windows or bridge or other programs before importing BUT ONLY IF THE FILES HAVE NOT BEEN IN LR ALREADY. Sorry to yell thats important as you most likely know

Using Flash files in Keynote

Ive started working with keynote and want to add some flash files to the presentation. I read that keynote supports importing of flash files.. but new to flash..and how it all works.
I found a website.. istockphoto.com that you can download some cool flash animations etc... it says that i must have macromedia flash or compatible program to edit the file.. i dont want to edit.. just want to use the royalty free flash file animation in my keynote presentation. When i download it. it appears as a blank sheet icon on my desktop with a flash extention, and if i try to drag it to my keynote presentation.. there is nothing.. does nothing...
Frustrated since there are some cool flash file animations to download that would be great in a presnetation.. but im clueless on what im doing if im doing it rigth.. have the right software etc. and all i want to do is download the file and use it.. as is.. not editing etc.
any suggestions??? help!!!!!

Your problem isn't with Keynote, it's with QuickTime. Keynote only supports media that QuickTime supports. If it doesn't play in the QuickTime player, it won't play in Keynote...but here's the part you won't like...QuickTime only supports Flash 5 or older, so my guess is that those files you have use a newer version.

No. You would have to convert it to a video format that your phone can handle, then sync it over and view the video. I'm sure there are ways to do this, but I don't have direct experience with them as I have no use for flash content.

I was trying to watch a japanese DVD that i bought long time ago with the computer, and the dvd player that was installed on the computer said that the since the area code of the dvd is different, i had to change the player's code to number 2, and i would have only 4 opportunities to change the area code. Is there anyway i could import the video file to the mac so i won't have to put the dvd in and use up my opportunity to change the area code? or is there anyway to increase the number of opportunities to change the area code?

Unforunately, your answers are no and no. The only course you have is to change the settings and rip the DVD then change settings back, but you will lesson the opportunities to change. There is no way that I know of to increase the number of times you can change the settings, unless there is a hack somewhere, but this is not the forum to find one. You can burn the ripped DVD through Toast's copy function (if you have a DVD burner, of course) and this will make it region free.
I'm afraid there's no good news here.

In Forms:
- Create an ActiveX Control Item (OCX) on your canvas.
- Right click it and select 'Insert Object...'.
- Choose Shockwave Flash Object.
- In the main menu 'Program', choose 'Import OLE Library Interfaces'
- Select ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash from the list.
- Select both the Method Package(s) and the Event Package(s). Make sure they're highlighted.
- Verify the existance of 5 new objects in your program units:
PACKAGE ShockwaveFlashObject_CONSTANTS (spec only)
PACKAGE ShockwaveFlash_IShockwa_0 (spec and body)
PACKAGE ShockwaveFlash_Shockwav_EVENTS (spec and body)
- Add the following code to your 'when-new-form-instance' trigger or when new block instance.

Flash files in keynote?

Hello all,
I am using two programs on my MAC, Keynote and Flash (both
programs are fairly new to me) for a conference presentation that
is 1365 x 768. I want to use a 45 second animation that I created
in flash and import it into Keynote however, the .mov exported from
flash is way too large and I am getting a little stutter. My movie
is fairly simple, no action script but does use filters from time
to time. When I export the Flash MX files (also have tried with
CS3) to a .swf it is about 10 mb. When I export the Flash file to a
.mov file, it is about 100 mb. I have played with the different
settings but if I export using fore example, the H.264 setting,
then the type looks pixelated. Can anyone advise on export settings
that I could use to maintain the quality of the type while
compressing the video so it is not so huge? Or is there a program
that can convert .swf to .mov for mac? I have tried a couple like
"Flash Video Converter" but it will not convert a .swf as big as
the one I created.

Is there Anyway to Import XDCAM EX1 videos into CS6 without Conversion ?

I have to edit some footage which was shot on XDCAM EX1. Im using CS6 on an IMac. Whenever i try to import the footage i get the error " the file has no audio or video stream". So i went to google for the solution. I came across a few posts (all of them were exactly the same) which said that I have to convert the footage. The problem with this is that no matter how expensive or professional the converter is, there will be some loss in quality. Please advice me what should I do ? Quality is the highest priority for me. I do have FCP X as well which picks up the EX 1 footage but it does not recognize the footage from my Sony FS100 ( i need to edit footage from both these cameras in one timeline and sequence ). Other than this i do have windows available as well with Adobe Premiere cs4,5,5.5. and 6.

Copy the BPAV directory and all subdirectories from the SxS card to a harddisk. Open the BPAV directory in the Media Browser and import the clips from there. The EX1 creates MPEG2 clips in a MP4 wrapper.

Is there anyway to import and edit 1080p50 video on the new iPad?

I've had a look around and I can't see any apps that allow this. I have a Panasonic SD900 which shoots AVCHD at 1080p50 and would really like to know if there's any way of getting those *.m2ts files onto the new iPad and then editing them.

My objective is to have a xml file created from a list for anonymous access. The SharePoint RSS feed is a .aspx file not xml, as shown below:

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to create a xml file from a SharePoint list.
To generate a XML file, we can use the SharePoint Object Model or PowerShell to achieve it.

Isnt there anyway to open a damged file ??

I have lost and restored lost logic files but the files do not open isnt there any way to open them at all?
When opening it comes to the missing audio I press the skip and just as it is about to open logic just flunks out This is a disaster:(

Hold down Control immediately after launching Logic and do not launch the CoreAudio drivers. Then try to open your song. If it does work, get rid of your 3rd party plug-ins and relaunch the drivers. If that works, then you can try to reinstantiate the plug-ins.

i have got the same problem only thing is the albums were never on my macbook just the album covers.
