Background to this:
I am deploying an Apex Reports Application. I have set up two lists.
The first List is a list of all the reports that the company delivers.
The second list is a list of reports that the client delivers.
These lists are on separate pages, which are navigated to via TABS.
I have locked all the pages that I have written.
I want to prevent the client from accessing my list, but allow them access to their list.

You can lock it to a particular app if you have iOS 6 installed, with a new 'Guided Access' accessibility function (Settings > General > Accessibillity > Guided Access)- from here :
It allows a parent, teacher, or administrator to limit an iOS device to one app by disabling the Home button, as well as restrict touch input on certain areas of the screen
I don't think that you can use to limit it to a particular screen of apps, just to be within one particular app.

Change your iTunes (Apple ID) password along with any other password that was stored in the iPod. If any passwords are associated with credit cards, contact the CC company and get your card replaced (with a new number). If any passwords are associated with your bank or any savings institution, contact them also and discuss approprate action with them.
The "Find my..." function is pretty much useless if the device is in the hands of a thief. All that is necessary is for the thief to connect to any computer with iTunes and "Restore as new."
The only real protection you have is with the personal information on the device rather than the physical device itself. This requires action before the device is lost/stolen. A device as small as an iPod should have a strong 8-digit (or longer) password AND be configured for automatic wipe in the event of ten consecutive incorrect password entries.

Is there anyway to sort a shared photostream according to the person who posted to it?

The situation is, my family went to disney last month and took lots of pictures and shared them all to the same stream (iPhones and camera). I just want to import all the ones that are not mine (ie, they are not in the imported event or my own personal phootstream) without reimporting (duplicating) all the ones I shared. (on the mac) The stream is about 80% my own pics since I was in charge of the camera. Is there a way to sort them by the person who posted so that I can select theirs only? If not, when I import the photstream, will it recognize duplicates? Thanks in advance!

Is there anyway to lock CSS rules? What's happening in design view?

I have no idea what I've done, but I've accidentally deleted some CSS rules. Now my design view shows almost a random pattern, yet most things seem to still be working when I view it in a browser.
So,
Is there a way to lock CSS rules so that you don't accidentally loose them? Is there a way to toggle them on and off? Why does my design view suddenly look all whacked out?

You have an id set on one of the divs, but there is no rule for that ID selector:

Change the id to sidebar2 and see what happens. The page should fall back into place correctly.
There is no way to 'lock' in styles, you just need to be careful on editing the style rules as you go
You could always keep a backup copy of a stylesheet that works correctly and if you then want to play around with the rules, do so, but knowing that you have a backup copy if you need it.
I'd also take a look at the naming convention you use for file names. I'd not start a file name or folder with and underscore... some browsers may choke. always better off starting a name with a letter, no characters, or numerals etc.,to be on the safe side.

I don't believe so. I've never seen a Numeric Lock nor equivalent on the iPad's keyboard.

Is there anyway to check a wish list or playlist against your library?

You see, I've created a playlist which is for one of my favourite albums from the 80s that I have on cassette. Now, I know I already have some of the tracks, as I have a HUGE 80s music library, but I wondered if there was an easy way to check if I already had any of the tracks, possibly lurking away on a compilation album that I haven't paid much attention to.
iTunes has changed the way we listen to music, you see. I can tell you every track I have in my cassette library, I couldn't do the same for the dip and mix nature of listening to music on iTunes when I've ripped a load of CDs. Heck, I even buy some cheap compilation CDs on the strength of one or two tracks and never listen to the rest!

What you can redownload for free will show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes, and in the Purchased tabs in the iTunes and App Store apps (and the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app) on your phone. I shot two cameras for green screen editing but one of the operators zoomed and panned so the key is good but when the camera zooms it looks like the subjects are floating, any idea how to synchronize the foreground to background

Turning your Mac into a clock radio.
1. In iTunes create a playlist that contains just the radio station you want to wake up to.
2. Export the playlist (as .m3u works well). Get Info on your playlist file and look at the Open With entry to make sure it points to iTunes, VLC or some other app that will stream your station.
3. In iCal create an event entry at the time you want to wake up.
4. Right (or Control) click on your wakeup event and select Get Info.
5. For "alarm" select Open File.
6. Now under Open File there will be a place to add the file to open. It will probably be some default entry (like iCal). Click on it will allow you to select "other." Then use the file dialog to select your playlist file.
Your Mac will wake you up at the appointed time. You don't need to keep iCal running. If you want to put you Mac to sleep for the night then there is one more thing you need to do. Open System Preferences to Energy Saver and click on the Schedule button. Check Start up or wake and set the wake up time to slightly before your iCal alarm time.

Hello all, I could use some help with my iPhone 4, I hope this is the best place to ask!
The Problem:
I want to do a full backup of my iphone to either itunes or to icloud. Unfortunately the iphone got wet and isn’t working properly. The phone turns on and still works, but the touch screen no longer works. I have a passcode lock on the phone so iTunes will not allow me to backup it up until I type in the passcode (which I cannot physically do). WiFi had been turned off before it got wet so it won’t connect to any known WiFi networks either to backup automatically to iCloud.
What happened:
I had been travelling for 6 months and went tubing on a river with my iphone in a dry bag. Unfortunately the dry bag failed and filled with water ruining my iphone.
What I’d like to do:
It’s an old phone and I was planning on buying a new iPhone anyway. I would love to do a full backup to either iCloud or to my computer so when I get a new iPhone I don’t lose anything. I’ve already connected it to my PC and downloaded all the photos and videos off the phone so at least I haven’t lost that, but I would like to be able to recover all the text messages, WhatsApp messages and notes I had created during my 6 months of travel.
The last time it was backed up to my pc or to icloud was in April, so there are 6 months worth of very meaningful data I would love to keep to remind me of my travels!
Is there anyway to force a full backup of the iPhone without typing in my passcode lock or is there anyway to force it to connect to a WiFi network so the phone can backup to iCloud??
iTunes recognizes the phone just now and I tried upgrading the phone to iOS7 in the hopes that it would first backup and then upgrade. Unfortunately all that happened is the phone upgraded to iOS7, but it didn’t backup to iTunes. Now the phone is stuck at the iOS7 welcome screen and I can’t do anything else with it.
Any ideas or tips would be welcome!
NOTE: This is NOT a jailbroken iPhone.

The Apple store agreed to give me a new iPhone 4 as a warranty replacement for $150 (I travel a lot and I have a factory unlocked phone, so this is still worth it for me). But before I trade it in, I would like to make sure all my data is backed up on the device first.
When I try and restore the phone now on iTunes, it says I have to turn off Find My iPhone on the phone first before I can restore it. Now since I can't use the screen I can't really do that.
So how do I completely wipe the iPhone???

(Being sarcastic - its because only the US is big or important enough to warrant volume licensing....)
At this time, until Apple decides to release volume licensing structures outside of the US the only solution would be to use your purchase orders with a company that sells the iTunes Vouchers and redeem those.
However - even then its hard to stay on the right side of the EULA when the terms are all couched in reference to "Personal Use"
I have spoken to some developers in the past about educational discounts, or even support for proxies, and wasn't really impressed with their answers. But hey - even Adobe has trouble with proxies and consistent approaches - we can't expect independent developers to be able to match the same capabilities...

I've not tried these things. I would have a concern that software update might not find iPhoto if it isn't in the regular place. Certainly you can put the library in an encrypted image but if someone tries to start up iPhoto they may generate a new blank library and you would have to reconnect to your old library. An annoyance (especially if you aren't paying attention and you add photos to the wrong library) but not a killer.
