Is there anyway possible to share music with different apple acounts??

Yes.  If you are on the same network, go to Edit > Preferences > Sharing, and click "Share Entire Library."

iTunes: How to share music between different user accounts ...

  • In trying to share music with multiple user accounts on one comp, I quit itunes, located my itunes media folder, moved it to a publicly accessible location. Problem is it didn't work and now I can't get it all back to the way it was.

In trying to share music with multiple users on one computer, I followed the directions on "iTunes:How to share music between different accounts on a single computer" (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1203). I did something wrong because i lost iTunes
Tried to put files back, but it is not the same. Plugged in my ipod and it is not recognizing my computer.
Can someone tell me where iTunes should be, and what sub files should be included with it. Thanks!

If you are seeing the "Connect to iTunes" logo, then your device is in Recovery Mode, and you will need to restore it:

  • Can i use 2 ipad's on the same itunes account with different apple accounts?

Both me and partner have an ipad 4. Though we only have one computer, can we use the same itunes but with different apple acount without any issues? We use some of the same apps, but my partner plays fx Baldus Gate and is worries that save files will be corrupted.

Each iPad should be linked to its owner's personal, private and nonshared AppleID. In the Mac, each one should have a different login account so each has their own iTunes Library containing your iPad's details. When you use iTunes on the Mac, since each logs in with a different login and corresponding Home directory, iTunes picks up the correct AppleID.

  • How do I share music from different itunes accounts in the same Mac, in different users account on that Mac with different iPhones?

    Hi
My wife and I share the same Mac.
She has her session and I have mine thus each of us has our iTunes session with our own music and settings.
She has her iTunes account and I have mine too.
And..;)...she has her Iphone and of course I also have mine.
    So, the big question:
Both like music that the other has bought but we do not want to buy it twice! (through her account and mine).
Is there a way to share music I purchase so she can have it in her iTunes session and therefore have it also on her iPhone when she syncs..and of course viceversa for me too?
It goes without saying that although we like music the other one has, we do not like all of the music, so basically we want to have the possibility to share those special songs we like so we can have them both in our phones and individual Itunes sessions.
Was that clear or I lost you???
Any answer will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

First of all if you havent done it yet i think u shold authorize the mac on both accounts on itunes. You also can switch the accounts on your Iphones at itunes while you are in the internet adn download the music.
This is just an idea you should think of. For sure there are other ways I dont know.

  • How do I share music with 2 itunes account on windows 1 computer

I currently have a slew of apple products between me & my wife & were struggling to get Itunes to work as we require it to. We have 2 seperate itunes accounts on the same laptop we share & following the directions here we have not been able to see or share any of my music on her itunes. We are using windows 7 & each have our own seperate windows & itunes log ons. I have tried moving media folder to public location on both accounts but no help. Her itunes account now also shows an error on start up & mine works fine & shows all music. Now with the purchase of 2 iphones & a new ipad we have 5 devices & only my phone is sinced or has music. I have alot more music & am condsidering having an external drive as my & her music or media location if possible.

  • Repurchace music with different Apple ID

Okay, it goes like this: when I was a child, I put a bunch of music in my iTunes library that my parents purchased for me. Now that I'm no longer a child, I'm considering repurchasing the songs under my own Apple ID. I'd be willing to pay for them and have my own copies, I'm just wondering if there's an easy way to just repurchase the songs that are already there and put them under a different account. Or do I have to go and manually delete and repurchase all the songs? Thanks!

Oh, I can and do. It's just we have a lot of computers and keep running out of authorizations, I'm getting older, and I feel like it would be appropriate to buy my own music at some point rather than continue to leech off my parents.

  • Can u/how do u  share playlists between different apple accounts on the same computer?

My other half has own iphone    how do I share i tunes with 2 different phones and 2 itunes ids

First thing you need to do is disable auto syncing in iTunes. This is from Edit>Preferences>Devices>Prevent iPods, etc.
Unfortunately, the only thing you can do is set up separate log in accounts for the laptop. This will allow you to have iTunes in each log in and they can have different content. iTunes cannot have separate content with the same log in and different Apple ID, but you can manage two phones with the same iTunes account. See if any of the information in this support document will help you http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1495 but the best solution is separate computer log in.

  • How to share music with the same account.

    can anyone help?
i have an ipod touch with lot sof music on already, i just bought a new iphone and have registered it to the same account, however only the applications sync to the iphone and the music doesnt sync.

Whatever is in your iTunes Library can be synced with either or both devices.
Have you gone through all the tabs in iTunes with your iPhone selected under "devices" and checked off the selections you want?

    Hi dprette,
When setting up iTunes to share a single music library between multiple user accounts on one computer you should follow the steps in this article -

  • If I put my I tunes library in my external hard disk can I still share it with all the accounts of my Mac?

If I put my I tunes library in my external hard disk can I still share it with all the accounts of my Mac?

    Hello there, Gnorra.
The following Knowledge Base article reviews how to share your music in iTunes with multiple users on the same computer:
iTunes: How to share music between different user accounts on a single computer
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1203
If you're using Mac OS X, follow these steps:
    Quit iTunes.
Go to your iTunes Media folder. By default, it's in ~/Music/iTunes. (This folder may be named iTunes Music if you created your iTunes library in iTunes 9 or earlier.)
Note: "~" represents your Home folder. Other users on your computer can't access these locations.
Drag the iTunes Media folder to a public location. For example, you could move it to the Public folder in your Home folder (~/Public) or to a location outside your Home folder that other users can access (/Users/Shared).
Important: Don't move the iTunes folder, the iTunes library file, or the iTunes library.xml file.
    Open iTunes.
    Choose iTunes > Preferences.
    Click Advanced.
    Click the Change button.
In the window that opens, go to your iTunes Media folder.
    Click Choose or Open.
Repeat these steps for each user that you want to share music with. If multiple users on your computer are storing music in the same public folder, duplicate song files may appear if a user imports music from a CD that another user already imported.
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Pedro.

  • Sharing itunes with different user accounts

I just got Windows Vista. I have the latest version of Itunes. I'm trying to set it up so that my wife and I can share songs with different user accounts in Windows. I followed all the instructions. I moved the iTunes music folder to a public folder. But everytime I log off my account and return, itunes can't find the song files. Any suggestions?

They can be transferred to another iTunes library but not another iTunes account.
    Just copy them.

  • Different apple accounts

Can u/how do u  share playlists between different apple accounts on the same computer?

I had that problem once and iTunes store support was able to help me resolve it.  I can't recall at this point what the solution is, but suggest you contact them here: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html.

  • HT5622 can you still share music on itunes with different apple id?  My daughters and I share the same itunes account but . . noticed this is not a good idea.  Both our contacts get merged.  sometimes my pictures end up on their phone!

Is there a way to share the itunes music with different people in your household without having to share the phone contacts?  Do I need to have a different apple id?

It's ok to share the same AppleID for iTunes.  Use Separate ID's for iCloud, iMessage, and Facetime.
