Is there anyway to trade in my old ipad for a new generation?
I have a 1st generation ipad (I know... I bet you alll have 2nd generation ipads )
Now that the 3rd generation ipad might/could be just around the corner,
is there any to trade in my old ipad for a new generation?
Even if apple don't do it, I'm wondering if there are any 3rd party companies doing this.
Does anyone know of such a company or such a deal?
Wouldn't it be great if we could keep upgrading by sending in our oldproducts and getting money back towards the new product
There are plenty of companies that purchase used equipment. I'm not personally aware of who would take it in trade. If you sell it outright, you'll get more money for it anyway....
Google can be your friend. Here is a link of options I found for you.......http://www.google.com.br/search?sourceid=navclient&aq=0&oq=sell+used+ipa&ie=UTF- 8&rlz=1T4GGLG_enUS348US348&q=sell+used+ipad

I have an iPad 1 and would like to buy the new iPad. Will Apple exchange my old iPad for the new one . I live in Saudi Arabia.
Apple does not take trade-ins. You'll have to look for a dealer that does, though you'll probably get more for the iPad 1 if you sell it yourself.

Is there anyway to exchange 3 week old rMBP with the new model that just came out.
Hi,
I bought a 13-inch rMBP on 17.02.2015 and the new rMBP was released today, so 3 weeks have passed. Is there any possibility that I can exchange mine for the new one?
Regards. If you purchased your current MBP directly from Apple, you have 14 days to return it for an exchange or refund. You are past that.

Exchange old iPad for a new iPad
Are you able to exchange the a new 3rd iPad for a new 4th iPad
Most of the people on these forums, including myself, are fellow users - you're not talking to Apple or iTunes Support here.
Apple don't do trade-ins. If you bought it from Apple within the past 14 days then you can take it back for a refund. Otherwise if you want the iPad 4 then you will probably be better off in terms of value by selling your current iPad privately (e.g. to family, a friend, or possibly via sites such as eBay) rather than trying to find a store that will do a trade-in. -
Can i trade in my old iphone for a new one?
i have th 4s and i love it, but i really want to upgrade, but at the same time don't have the money to full out by a new one. a few people have told me that apple is going to start a 'trade in program' so i was wondering if that was just rumors or if it was truth. if it's the truth i definitely want in!
http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2013/08/apple-trade-in/
Wal-Mart also had implemented a trade-in program.

Can you trade a broken ipad for a new one?
Can you trade in a broken iPad for a new one?
Well, I think my answer was more accurate. The answer is yes rather than no. Also, the fee you mention must only be a possible fee. Given that the original iPad was only launched 14 months ago, odds are good the OP is still under warranty.

Hi there. Can someone please help me with copying photos from my old iPad to my new ipad2? Thanks.
If you have a pc, when you plug your iPad in you should see the windows pop up window offering to backup the photos. Do that and it will save all your photos and videos to your computer where you can then sync them back to your new one.
If the pop up doesn't come up, double click on my computer and navigate your way to the iPad. Double cick on it an d navigate to the DCIM folder. Drag your photos and videos to your pc, then sync them back onto your iPad. -
I have deleted iPhoto from my MacBook Air. When I try to reinstall it, itunes tries to charge me. Is there a way to reinstall the old version for free?
depening on what OS you're running you should be able to reinstall it without charge since it's part of the operating system. if running 10.6.8 or earlier you will need to use the applications install disc if there is one or if you only have one disc you can put it in and do a reinstall of the OS which will put the iphoto back on. if running 10.7 or 10.8 can sign into the app store w/ the same apple id that is associated w/ the mac and it should show in your purchases for you to reinstall it. you may need to click on the accept button if it appears next to the iphoto in your purchase listing.

Is there anyway to convert video taken by ipad and burn it to a DVD that can play on DVD player?
Persius,
Nearly every DVD that will play on a set-top player *should* play on a computer, provided two things:
1.) the computer has a DVD player that can handle that flavor of DVD media, DVD RW, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD DL, etc.
2.) the computer has a software player installed. This feature has been removed from some common media players. You may need to locate, download and install a separate software player.
There could be another discussion on interlaced vs progressive scan media, but I'll let you ask that question.

What happens of someone stole my ipod is there anyway to get another one besides buying a whole new one? Does anyone know? And why does it have to be connected to the internet for it to locate my apple devices? There should be a locating chip in it already. Better ideas here..
You'll have to buy a new one, unless it is covered in some kind of insurance that you have.

I now have a new laptop, but I'm afraid to plug my iPod in because I know it will wipe out all 300 songs. Is there a way to put my old music on my new laptop?
(After my old laptop blew, it won't turn on anymore). I've invested quite a bit of money into my music, and it'd be a bummer if it's all gone to waste.
Thanks in advance! Some of the information below has subsequently appeared in a document by turingtest2: Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device - https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991
Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was designed for you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchased content.
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 - only media purchased from iTunes Store
For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you will have to use third party commercial software. Examples (check the web for others; this is not an exhaustive listing, nor do I have any idea if they are any good):
