plz let me know is than an official software of jellybean for it or is there any un official s/w of it
i want to upgrade from ics to JB
more over if JB is developing for it how much time will take to come online?

Jelly Bean upgrade for AT300 3G model

Hi. I read an old thread (1 month ago) that JB has not been rolled out to AT300 with 3G due to some modem driver issue. Does anyone know when will this be fixed and when JB update will come for 3G model?.

Stuck with the same issue like the most of you - 3G version AT300-105 with "smashing" 4.0.3 Android on it and with no apparent update in sight.
I am really disappointed with this as I need this device for work and to make matters worse, some of Android features I need are full of bugs on this version.
This is a expensive 650 euro tablet from a well-branded manufacturer, not some 80 euro low-end from an unknown manufacturer and I believe the former ones receive better support than we do. For this amount of money I could have purchase just about anything else. too bad I got suckered in for full SD card slot.
I read most of your posts and I am insulted by the "3G driver issue" which was stated . As a customer I could not care less about this excuse. It is Toshiba's hardware, their engineers chose it, and they should deal with it. Just to remind dear friends in Toshiba that there were three major Android updates since their initial release for this tablet:
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (API level 16)
Android 4.2 Jelly Bean (API level 17)
Android 4.3 Jelly Bean (API level 18)
Android 4.4 KitKat (API level 19)
They had four releases after the initial one to fix the modem issue and I sincerely doubt they even bothered to try.
If they really cared they could have gone with issuing the newer release without modem drivers with warning for customers and possibility to roll back if wanted, but no, it is easier to use such petty excuse and do nothing. Shameful and disrespectful to buyers. If they don't do anything positive, which I doubt as I have this product for over a year and nothing was done, this will probably be the last thing I ever got from this company.

Jelly Bean Update for Thrive

Has there been any official comment or timeframe from Toshiba about updating Thrive to Jelly Bean 4.2? With the specs on the Thrive, it should support Jelly Bean.

indest, I should probably provide some clarification here.
I actually work for Online Support Engineering. I don't have much will over product (including software) decisions. With the forum, my role is point people to solutions, provide help when I can, and to report trends and issues found from the forum. Jelly Bean Update for Razr Maxx Hd

I just got a razr maxx hd yesterday and am trying to perform the Jelly Bean update. It does not show up in my downloader, but I keep getting a notification saying "Download suspended, will resume shortly." and it shows 0% progress. When I try to restart the download, it notifies me that it is already downloading and that I will be notified when it is finished but it has been over 12 hours since I originally began the update. Is there a way to fix this?

General OTA release should have started already. Manual upgrade option should also be available sometime this week. I prefer manual upgrades to OTA's as the install is invariably more stable and functional. Downside is that they wipe your phone clean, but this assures that app dependencies install "where they are supposed to go" so that apps function as intended. OTA's have to "work around" installed stuff, and this often causes inconsistent "glitchy" behavior from individual to individual. Some OTA installs work perfect, others have issues which may or may not reproduce from phone to phone.

Japanese Language for Sony XPeria Z1

I have a Sony XPeria Z1 and rooted for Myanmar font and languags. But after i have rooted my phone, i can't see Japanese Language anymore. Japanese Keyboard is still working fine. How can i enable Japanese Language again ?

Unfortunately, this is a major effort. It's been discontinued and is very hard to find. Sony has back ordered it, but it's in 2 parts, the brick and the cord. Combined it's about $55 or so. I found some retailed in China that are selling them for $70.
I just bought one on Ebay for $40 and hopefully it's compatible. Sony has done a terrible job with these adapters and their exclusivity and reluctance to make them universal with their other products. It makes it very hard to buy replacements.
