If you are implying that you've never synced and backed up the device, well that is simply not smart.
User's can backup their iOS devices at any time by connecting to iTunes and selecting the backup option from the Summary tab or by backing up to iCloud.
Most people will regularly backup their devices and transfer iTunes purchases to iTunes on the computer for safekeeping.
Basically, you are stating that the device has not been used as designed and now data has been lost. Sorry, that's just too bad. But at least now you know how to prevent this in the future. -
When I burn my iDVD there are several times it skips (hesitates) during the show. I have 431 shows in the show.
Any suggestions on burning a clean copy?Thats the problem with creating slideshows in iDVD. Slides in such a slideshow are considered to be Chapters and a Track can contain a maximum of 99 Chapters. Early versions of iDVD only let you use 99 images in slideshows. Newer versions let you use more images by linking Tracks together. The problem is, many/most set top DVD players will pause/freeze on Track changes - thus the hesitation you see after every 99 images.
The only way to avoid this is to create your slideshow as a movie in iMovie, or use a commercial program like Boinx's FotoMagico (that I use) or Photo to Movie that others here use. -
Is there any Winamp-style screen that shows when iTunes is minimized?
Those of you who have used Winamp may be aware of a little screen that flashes in the corner of the screen whenever a new song comes on (while winamp is minimized.) The screen shows the song title, artist, album, album cover, and I believe the song's length. it is really convenient and I am wondering if there is anything like that on iTunes. if not they should add it!
I can't find a way to see that too.
Please tell me there is way to know if a call is from forwarded or not.

I recently purchased Slipknot's ".5: The Gray Chapter" on my phone via an ITunes gift card worth $15 dollars. The album did have some trouble downloading because of a bad signal, and a good number of songs "could not be downloaded at this time". To download the missing songs, I had to go into ITunes store>more>purchased>music>all songs and click download on the few that didn't. This fixed that problem, and now the entire album is on my phone, but when the album transferred over to my computer, 4 of the songs still did not appear. Not only that, it says that they have not been purchased. The ITunes card I used only has a dollor left on it, so I know it registered the purchase. The 10th, 14th, 15th, and 16th tracks still have $1.29 next to them, and ITunes is showing the album as an incomplete.
We are having this same issue. We have over 200 songs that are now missing and only our most recent ones show up in our ITunes library. Fortunately we have one phone that still has all of our music still in tact. This phone is no longer one I will be using as I upgraded to the Iphone 6, and only the most recent purchased songs remain. The rest are no where to be found and the iTunes store shows that I would need to re-purchase. Not sure what to do as when I tried to sync my last phone, all the songs were gone.

The iPod's firmware is corrupt. You'll need to restore it again in iTunes. If necessary, place the iPod in recovery mode for iTunes to recognize the device. Use the instructions in this Apple support document to walk you through the process of placing the iPod Touch into recovery mode.

I have over 20,000 photos in my iPhoto. When my screen saver comes on it randomly shows certain photos. Often, these photos are old and I in turn find the desire to print said photo. Is there a way the screen saver can convey a photo file name or location as well? Can I create a slideshow of all my photos to cycle through at leisure with photo info? Lastly, I know I have duplicates and have tried numerous software programs to delete duplicates to no avail. What do you recommend as a method to reduce duplicates on iphoto? Thanks for your time.

My itouch screen froze showing "plug to itunes" after trying to update to iOS6. It still can be turned on and off. But the screen froze showing that message. I perhaps need to restore it. But is there any ways to export all the pictures from it before restoring?
Only if y can get the iPod out of recovery mode with the program. Otherwise you will have to restore via iTunes which erases the iPod.
